@dc yoga bee: @MrsBrewer: congratulations!
I'm sitting and waiting for my last test. Definitely not fun when you fast for it.

@Eko: I'm sitting in the waiting room too! My hour is done in about 15 minutes. I already saw the doctor and I'm up 14 pounds, baby's heartbeat was good and I'm measuring right on time. Hopefully my sugar will be as good as the rest of the appointment!

@rpparker: I'm hoping for the same thing! I'll find out the results tomorrow.

@rpparker: I am so jealous of your weight gain! I am already up 26! So glad you had a good appointment.

@dc yoga bee: Woo!!
@78h2o: According to my scale, I'm about 20 pounds up from 4 weeks to 26 weeks now. I don't know where it's all going though? I guess I'm in a bit of denial. The OB started weighing me when I graduated back at 9 weeks so I think they only have it as 10 lbs? I guess I'm not sure what's accurate then because I definitely wasn't gaining in the beginning.

@78h2o: @LindsayInNY: I was about 10 lbs over my ideal weight to begin with so it really all equals out!
Passed my sugar test! Woohoo! Now I'm crashing at my desk!

@rpparker: Same here... About 5-10 pounds that I just couldn't seem to lose.

@78h2o: @MrsBrewer: sorry my phone got stuck. Still In hospital still. Babies are still in my belly! Woohoo!! Just waiting. They want to wean me off the oral med to see if the contractions really completely stopped then send me home on bedrest. I think. All mini goals. Right now my mini goals are getting through 1 day at a time.

Does everyone have names finalized for their LO's? DH and I finally decided on a boy and girl name this weekend, we need one of each since we are TG
cherry / 234 posts
@MrsBrewer: no name here. We have a couple of favorites, but we don't want to share the name before she is born so it's kind of nice not having one picked out yet. Also, if we had one, there is NO way DH could keep his mouth shut. Ha!

We're pretty much finalized on Elizabeth Grace (nn Ellie) - although I reserve the right to change my mind! I don't see that happening though.
nectarine / 2148 posts
@MrsBrewer: We have a name finalized. We chose William (Will) Paul. They are all family names and definitely won't be changing it. We actually had names picked out before we knew we were having a LO.
@Mrs.KMM: super cute bump! Can't believe we are in the third trimester! gah.

@Mrs.KMM: You look so great!!!!
@Eko: I love family names!!!! Great choice!!
@Mrs.KMM: Awww I love the NN Ellie!

@MrsBrewer: No name finalized yet. Last time, we went in with a short list. We'll do the same this time too. There's a few I like, but nothing's set in stone yet.

@Mrs.KMM: Aww, I love Elizabeth Grace!
@Eko: Great name! William/Will was high on our list if we had a boy.

@MrsBrewer: Hattie Jane - Hattie (different spelling) was my great grandmother. If you saw some of my earlier posts I have enjoyed letting people know her name (lots of monogrammed gifts) but my boss uses it at inappropriate times so there are certain occasions I wish we had kept it a secret!

@MamaB: My mom and sister are hosting mine. Am I still suppose to get them gifts?!

Passed the diabetes test with flying colors! I would've actually passed the one hour test just fine, little annoying I could've done that instead of the three hour one, but w/e at this point.
cherry / 234 posts
@LindsayInNY: I'm not sure. I'd probably get them a little something.
@Eko Congrats!!
Is anyone else having nose bleeds? So annoying!!
coconut / 8854 posts
@LindsayInNY: seriously, I had no idea! My mom, sister, MIl, and SIL are throwing the shower for me! Ladies please weigh in!!!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@LindsayInNY: @MrsBrewer: My mom and friend are hosting mine. I planned on getting them something small. I didn't really want to do a gift card.
bananas / 9229 posts
@MamaB: Yes! Sorta? I've only had one or two noticeable ones where I've had to stop and get it under control. Otherwise, I'll rub my nose and notice blood or see it when I blow my nose. I've been very sinus-y lately too so I'm not surprised.
nectarine / 2148 posts
@MrsBrewer: my mom is throwing me one shower, and my dad and aunt are coordinating on throwing me a second shower. I am definitely not getting my mom a hostess gift, because really I know this party is more for my mom than it is me. My mom really loves getting attention. haha. I may get something for my aunt though. My dad won't want me to get him something. My aunt is more sentimental and she really isn't responsible for doing work on this, so I'll likely get something for her.
@MamaB: I've been getting nose bleeds since the first trimester. They are not full on nose bleeds, but whenever I blow my nose it's bloody. This happens about every single day. lol.
grapefruit / 4441 posts
@MamaB: No, but it makes sense due to the increased blood volume. I've actually never had a nose bleed in my life!
I am starting to have issues with heartburn. Not something I ever get outside of pregnancy and I'm super glad. I almost had to drive to Walgreens at midnight to buy a thing of Tums, but luckily my husband found 2 Rolaids in his briefcase, lol! I stopped on my way to work today to buy more!
nectarine / 2148 posts
@78h2o: I've been having heartburn for a while. I've never had it outside of pregnancy and now I have it almost everyday. Insane. I'm hoping that the old wives tale is true about having heartburn means you're LO will have a full head of hair. lol.
