@Espion: have you seen the Earth Mama Angel Baby Third Trimester tea? It's supposed to help get things moving. It's got red raspberry leaf, stinging nettle, etc and I get some wicked BH after drinking it. It may totally be a placebo effect but its worth a shot!

  2. Espion

    pomegranate / 3577 posts

@grizz: I'll definitely check that out. I need to get some fenugreek and Mother's milk tea as well. I want to try and set myself up to have an adequate supply!

No news here. Just tons of cramping still. Oh, and emotions that are cranked to an 11 on a 1-10 scale. Yikes! I dont know if it's hormones or anxiety over being so close to my due date, but I had about 5 people at church say something about being ready to pop, how I need to hurry up and have the baby, etc and then the next person spoke up... And I completely burst into tears. She didn't say anything *bad* but I just got overwhelmed by everyone saying something. So embarrassing!

Definitely worried that I'm already frustrated not to be in labor when I'm 11 days from my EDD! What if I go over??

@grizz: don't be embarrassed! It's an emotional time. You are going through so much right now, of course you're going to get emotional.

I walked a total of almost four miles today inadvertently and I am exhausted. Crampy too but I'm sure it's nothing.

@Espion: haha, I was thinking about how to seduce DH as well. I'm at a loss at the moment with my huge belly and exhaustion.

Been having cramping that feels like menstrual cramps but the last two days have been much worse, especially at night. Had some big time tummy issues last night and all day today( TMI Alert!!!!! ........"diarrhea"and body aches). Painful menstrual like cramps And a few contractions last night. I'm wondering if I ate something bad or if its pre labor....have any of you had these symptoms? The Internet says a lot of different things...I don't know what to think but I feel really icky.

  9. Boheme

    papaya / 10473 posts

@jh524: I am having all of the above. I feel so yuck!

  10. tlcbaby

    nectarine / 2750 posts

@jh524: I have a lot more cramping at night, but it is continuous...not like contractions. I have them sometimes during the day, but it is much less noticeable. I think it sounds like pre-labor, but I've also seen that it can go on for a couple of weeks so I am trying to just go with the flow even when I feel like I am having symptoms.

  11. Revel

    pear / 1563 posts

@jh524: Similar symptoms on and off, especially at night, and like @tlcbaby:, more continuous than coming and going. I've probably felt maybe two or three of what I might term a contraction, in that it felt like a really uncomfortable BH accompanied by cramping, that lasted for like a minute or so. I could have just been bad BH though.

It could be early labor though if you think it is! Nothing that I have felt has suggested early labor to me - I keep thinking I'll get a feeling about it being the real thing, but then I've never experienced it so who knows...

@knittylady: I was just thinking this today! I'm a week from my due date and I'm obsessing so much about labor. If (when?) I go late, I'm going to be a basket case!

  12. jh524

    pear / 1632 posts

@grizz, @tlcbaby, @Revel: i know you ladies are closer to your due dates, I'm 4 weeks plus some out...do you think I should let the dr, know what's going on or just chill and see if things resolve themselves? I know timetable contractions are a different story.. I haven't had that just cramping, a few contractions in the middle of the night and flu like symptoms.

  13. tlcbaby

    nectarine / 2750 posts

@jh524: When is your next appt? If it is coming up fairly soon I would just bring it up then. If not, just give them a call on Tuesday and let them know. It can't hurt!

  14. swedishfish

    GOLD / coconut / 8266 posts

@jh524: when's your next appointment? I would probably mention it then unless things are hurting.

  15. Revel

    pear / 1563 posts

@jh524: I'd mention it - I know I mentioned something when similar symptoms started for me around 35 weeks and my midwife said it was normal body getting ready for labor behavior, so that eased my mind. I feel like there is never any harm in calling the nurse line either - I'm sure they've heard it all and more.

Thank you for all the well wishes, June mommas! Our happy and healthy little girl, Sienna Grace was born this afternoon at 2:55 pm. I spent about 20 hours but delivered naturally with Hypnobabies as I planned to! She is perfect!

I woke up this morning and my throat is so sore. My nose is stuffy but it has been stuffy this entire pregnancy. I can't be getting sick now! I'm 37 weeks today! Full term. Time to get this show on the road!

ETA - I had breakfast almost an hour ago and I'm so nauseated right now. Please don't come back morning sickness. You are not welcome here.

@jh524: I had them a week or so ago. I hoped it was labor coming. It went away though.

@bisous: omg, congrats!! I love her name too.

@swedishfish: I'm so sorry you're sick (in multiple ways, sounds like). Totally lame.

@bisous: Congratulations!!! I hope momma and baby are doing well!

@jh524: What everyone else said! I know it's a holiday, but they might be able to help you through the answering service line.

@grizz: Hope you are doing well! I have still had zero cramping. I don't want anyone to be miserable, but I'm jealous!

@swedishfish: Booooo! I hope you feel better soon. Hopefully it was just a blood sugar drop and you'll be feeling better soon.

  31. Boheme

    papaya / 10473 posts

@Espion: I just wish it would go somewhere! Every little extra twinge gets me all excited for no reason.

Confession: This pregnancy has made a liar out of me. Since most everyone seems to know my due date and keeps referencing how many days I have left etc, I keep telling people my OB said she thinks I will go overdue by at least a week or more. She has said no such thing! I figured it would get people off my back a little bit, and if I *do* go overdue, well then people were expecting it anyway. But that doesn't mean I don't feel a little guilty about it lol

  32. Revel

    pear / 1563 posts

@swedishfish: I've had a kind of sore throat for like a week and been worrying about the same thing! I don't want to be sick during labor! It hasn't really progressed for me - hopefully the same thing happens for you?

@Espion: I'm having fewer symptoms of labor now than I was a few weeks ago - is it possible to never have the baby???

@grizz: haha, I'd just call that white lie "survival."

  33. swedishfish

Ugh, I just got sick in my parents' bushes. I hope this nausea and vomiting thing isn't back for the rest of this pregnancy.

  34. knittylady

@swedishfish: ugh sorry :(. On the bright side it could maybe mean labor is near?

  35. Boheme

@swedishfish: So sorry I hope its just a random thing and that it doesn't stick around!

  36. maybebaby

    nectarine / 2177 posts

@tlcbaby: Just realized your due date is our 2nd anniversary Part of me has always thought this stubborn little one would crash our party. In either case, an induction, if needed will be the day after--so at least we will still go out to dinner if he doesn't decide to come on his own!

  37. tlcbaby

    nectarine / 2750 posts

@maybebaby: Aww, well you'll either have a baby or you'll get to go out and celebrate again! At my second ultrasound my EDD was June 1 so I usually tell people that, but I have no delusions that it will definitely come by that date. I am trying to prepare myself that this could be another couple of weeks still.

@swedishfish: I hope you feel better!

@grizz: Haha, no harm there. People should back off anyway. The cervix questions have started for me - people keep asking me (and DH) how far dilated I am, etc. I am glad we can just say that we don't know since they don't check.

  38. tlcbaby

    nectarine / 2750 posts

Oh also I found my stretch marks! They were hiding underneath my belly and I only just noticed them a few days ago. There are only a couple on either side and I can't feel them, but I can see them so I am hoping they fade away after baby comes.

I got a random text from my sister that she has a feeling I will be in labor soon. Also, my Dad keeps predicting the 28th, but I am not getting my hopes up.

  39. LazyLightning

    pear / 1664 posts

@swedishfish: ooh no. I hope it's just a quick stomach bug. This nausea is so shitty....it's misery.

@tlcbaby: dang. I have had them pretty much everywhere since fairly early on...except around and above my belly button. Last week, those filled in. Ugh. Oh well!

  40. swedishfish

    GOLD / coconut / 8266 posts

Hey all. I'm thinking it is just a stomach bug but I got so sick and couldn't even keep water down that the doctor sent me to the hospital. I'm here now.

2.5 cm dilated and 60% effaced but I'm on my second bag of fluids and feeling better so hopefully I will go home soon. Just ate two saltines and kept them down so far haha.

Hope everyone else is feeling good!
