    Ahh so cool @mrstal !! I am so jealous!

    @mtex14 @swedishfish I'm still bloated too! This morning I woke up and thought maybe I didn't have as much this morning, but just a couple hours later I went into the bathroom at work and I feel like you can totally tell

    @MrsTal: so exciting!

    My doctor did an ultrasound and found nothing, but he said it's probably still so early. But I wish I could just see something to know it's true. I'm waiting on blood work.

    My symptoms come and go and make me nervous. Like right now I have zero cramping or anything!

    Hi everyone... I am very cautiously joining... super nervous but I got my first BFP on Monday after 9 cycles, so here I am! I posted on the POAS boards for the first few cycles but dropped off as I got more and more frustrated with TTC. So excited to post here

    Location: NJ/NY

    EDD: Feb 19

    How far along: 5w today according to LMP... but I don't think I O'ed until CD20 or so, so I think I'm a little behind that. I wasn't temping, so don't know for sure until 1st appt.

    First child? YES!

    First doctor appointment: July 1

    Any symptoms so far? Soooooo bloated and crampy!

    Who have you told? Eek, too many people. Husband, 2 BFFs, trainer, yoga teacher (so I don't squish the baby...)

    @littlek: Awww thanks!! That's super sweet of you!! I think I was letting myself get too obsessive with the POAS threads, and annoying the hell out of my husband. Of course, now I will obsess for the next 9 months about every little twinge... but at least for now there's a baby in there!

    @MrsTal great ultrasound pic! I'm glad that everything looks good for you.

    They didn't give us any ultrasound pictures today but confirmed that they saw the fetal pole and a heartbeat of 144bpm. I'm measuring a week behind, but I ovulated on CD 17 so I'm trying not to be too concerned.

    I'm really nervous guys. My blood results came back so low! 31. I know I ovulated late so that could be it, but it's really discouraging. I'm praying hard.

    @MrsTal: So glad it went well!! Yay!

    @GreeneB2: @loopedd: Congrats and welcome!

    @MrsDetour: woohoo for an u/s with a heartbeat! Mine is a week from today and I can't wait!

    @intotheocean: You just got a BFP a few days ago, right? Were you testing before then and it was negative? If so, I really wouldn't worry too much yet My first beta the day after a light BFP was 30.

    @Mrs. Detour: Aww try not to worry. 144 bpm is a nice solid heartbeat. I think this early it's so easy for the little ones to be off by a bit.

    @Mrs. Detour: 144 is a great heartbeat! I'm sure your LO will catch up by the next ultrasound.

    @intotheocean: it just has to double in 48 hours. When's your next beta?

    @loopedd: congratulations!

    I'm feeling a little worried today. I don't have any real reason to be (unless wacky hormones are a reason to be!). My first official U/S is still 10 days away, but last week I was able to see the gestational sac twice (thanks to U/S to view an ovarian cyst), and I had blood work to assure me things are going fine in there. Going a week without any confirmation has apparently made me a little crazy. Anyone else ever feel this way? How do you handle it?

  19. Tidybee

    nectarine / 2834 posts

    @HeartAbandoned: I'm in this position. My doctor told me after an ultrasound that based on my numbers my pregnancy was still nonviable. I have to go almost 2 weeks in between ultrasounds to find out if my baby is still even alive. I'm started a new novel and i'm watching the last season of desperate housewives. my mind still wanders and I feel like i'm just going through the motions of every day life, but just having those two silly distractions is helping the days go by. Hang in there!

    @Tidybee: Oh my goodness, I can't even imagine what you're going through. When is your next appointment? Your ideas for distractions sound excellent. I will do my best to keep my mind off of all of the "what-ifs" too. This is tough!

    @HeartAbandoned: You are not alone! I've been having a really tough time focusing at work because I'm constantly wondering if everything is still OK. It doesn't help that I got a cold/flu- so now I'm worried that the pukeyness is not from the pregnancy, and am I still pregnant? And on it goes...

    I'm dealing with it by alternating work and baby stuff. So I'll work for two hours, then take a 20 min. baby break. It's my own version of Baby-Pomodoro.

  22. loopedd

    kiwi / 536 posts

    @HeartAbandoned: I feel the same way -- no reason to be nervous, but I AM! I've been trying to just remain positive and tell myself that everything is fine for now and to just let it be. I think we'll feel like this for the whole pregnancy... and then for the rest of our lives

    @AnneBird: Baby-Pomodoro made me lol, and realize that that's what I've been doing at work too!!

    @Tidybee: Sorry you're dealing with this I hope everything works out for you. Glad you've found some distractions.

    They called and booked my ultrasound today, it's next Thursday. I'm really excited because last time I didn't have a dating ultrasound. I like everyone else am worried that something isn't right. I definitely feel pregnant though. I slept for 12 hours last night and I'm still tired! I've discovered if I get up around 4/5am and have a bowl of cereal I feel a million times better when I get up in the morning.

    Hope everybody else is feeling good!

    @swedishfish: my next is today. I have to go in the same time right? God, that would mean 4. Bleh

    I'm feeling more optimistic. I'm just, nervous. Like my last pregnancy where I went into the er a billion times whenever I bled. Lol

    I just went to the bathroom and discovered a little bit of brown spotting. I have an appointment on Tuesday, do I just wait until then, or try and call my doctor now? I'm trying so hard not to panic.

  33. MrsB2012

    nectarine / 2466 posts

    @Aria: brown spotting can be completely normal in early pregnancy. I know it's impossible not to worry but try and just take it easy for the day and maybe see how it goes. If it would make you feel better, then call your Dr and see what they say.

    @Baby2Feb15: welcome and congrats

    Definitely nervous here too. In fact, I didn't have any more pregnancy tests left, so this morning I tested with an OPK...just to see the two lines haha.

    Tonight I'm having some ridiculous sciatica (I think). Sharp pains starting in my butt and pulsing down to my thigh. Not sure what that's all about...but it kind of sucks.

  37. MrsB2012

    nectarine / 2466 posts

    @Keppa: I've been having that pain too. It's horrible. I found that sitting on a lacrosse ( or any hard ball like that) on your bum really helps.

    @Aria: I bled a lot during my first trimester. Brown blood is a good sign. Old blood. It's the bright red, gushing like a heavy flow blood you worry about. Have you been exercising? Having sex?

    Hello all! I've previously only lurked here on the boards, but cautiously & excitedly joining!

    Location: Grand Rapids, MI
    EDD: February 27th
    How far along: 4 weeks
    First child? Nope, 2nd. My first will be 1 in a few weeks
    First doctor appointment: Ugh, not until August 14. Not sure how I'm going to handle this wait.
    Any symptoms so far? Nausea.. not thrilled about that since I didn't really have any nausea with my son. Also, heartburn starting already. Time to start stocking back up on Costco sized bottles of Tums
    Who have you told? No one yet. We will wait to tell family as long as we can manage (or after my first ultrasound)

    @Aria: I think brown spotting is totally normal. I agree with PP, though, if it will make you feel better, call the doctor! They are used to answering questions from us worried mamas

    @MsMiranda: Congratulations & welcome!!

    Anyone else experiencing pregnancy rhinitis (can you tell I've been googling this morning? ). I've been really congested and having to blow my nose all day every day since before my BFP. I sometimes have allergies, but nothing like this. I don't have any other symptoms, just a lot of congestion. I'll take it over morning sickness, though!
