@ChattyCathy: Believe me, you're not the only one who's really emotional and feeling 'emotionally unstable' at times... I just don't post about it 'cause it's hard to admit to people but.. seeing you say it makes me feel like I can too.
I was emotional before -- my anger turns to tears super quick. Now that I'm pregnant I can get over whelmed even easier, get depressed really quick, and get myself convinced my husband isn't paying attention to me (when he actually is). I'll often spend half an hour crying, not even really upset by the original thing that set me off in the first place, but continue crying because I feel 'abnormal' for doing so.
Anyways, hope you don't mind me unloading that on you.
Well, my morning sickness is definitely gone, but I'm still being plagued by fatigue on a regular basis. I sleep on average 10 hours a night (with interruptions) and sometimes take a nap during the day. Still have the sciatic nerve pinch, but the real kicker was Friday night when I fell backwards going down our stairs and racked my tailbone pretty hard on 3-4 stairs on my way down. The soreness is almost gone now but I was super scared when it happened! I was thankful I didn't fall forward.
Today was a better day, though. I felt more energy and got some of the house cleaned. Amazing! Got tired quicker than I thought when my back and sciatic nerve started giving me some issues, so here I sit relaxing now. My next appointment is next Tuesday the 3rd. Excited to get news that I'm still pregnant. x.o

@ChattyCathy: It's normal to be worried! But the chances of losing a baby after you see a healthy one on an ultrasound at that point is very very low. You can lose it at any time (believe me, I know that first hand), but chances are better that you won't.

@PixieStix: Dude, you can unload whenever you want! I have found myself in tears a lot recently too. ugh!!! And holy cow that is scary that you fell down the stairs. I hope your bum is feeling better!!
@Dandelion: I'm still so sorry for your loss, I am not good at words at all. I really need to have a better attitude. I am so glad you are on this thread with us though!!
watermelon / 14206 posts
@ChattyCathy: I'm glad I'm here, too! Even I know my chances fo the same thing happening again are very very rare. I just try to keep a positive outlook. Plus, it gets easier, once you start feeling the baby moving around. It gives you more clue that the baby is in there and ok. Until then, you just wait and worry, lol.

@ChattyCathy: Aw, thanks. It's just nice to talk to other women that feel the same way. It's much more comforting and realizing, "Hey, I'm not so different after all."
@Dandelion: I can't wait to feel the first kicks either. How reassuring that must be.

@PixieStix: I know how you feel. I spent my car ride home on Sunday in tears because my day went too poorly in my head. Really looking at it, it was a really good day. I blame the hormones! You are not alone, don't worry too much.

@MrsRcCar: Thanks.. that helps. How have you been doing lately? Any changes from before?

Hey MARCH soon to be BABY MAMA's!
I know I have been SUPER MIA but I finally felt well enough tonight to actually type on the computer without barfing all over myself (lovely picture right?).
Was super curious if any of the MARCH 2014 MOMS were thinking of Announcing their pregnancy on Labor Day or Labor Day Weekend? I just posted on the board about it! http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/labor-day-pregnancy-announcement-ideas

To the emotional ladies, get a load of this one:
Last week I made lasagne, which my husband and I ate half of and were going to have the other half as leftover a few days later. So I get home late from work and put the lasagne straight into the oven as I get hangry (angry hungry) so easily these days. I get it all oozy and delicious (an extra coat of cheese on top didn't hurt), take it out of the oven, and slam it into the corner of the granite countertop! The whole dish shattered in my hands and the lasagne plopped onto the floor, cheese side down. I had a *BREAKDOWN* - seriously sobbing, for at least 30 minutes. My husband got home and thought I'd burned myself, or had gotten bad news, or something, and I had to explain that I was literally crying over spilt lasagne.
So thats my over emotional story to make you all feel better!
Also, re: the sleeve of saltines - I keep doing that, except I (ahem) melt a metric ton of cheese onto the saltines first. Its TERRIBLE! They weighed my at my ultrasound yesterday and after gaining nothing (in fact losing a few lbs) in 9 weeks, I all of a sudden gained 5 in the past 3 weeks! Whoops. Gotta get the cheese addiction in check.

Hi, ladies!! Welcome to all the new March 2014 mommas; I hope you are doing great! I am doing all right after my miscarriage. It's really not fun, but I am over the worst of it, so now my body is starting to get back to normal!!
I apologize for writing this i the public thread, I tried to send a private message, but realized that that's not really something you can do on HB (unless I missed something!!) Would it be possible to pull my name off that list of due dates that gets posted every so often? I would really appreciate it, if you don't mind! I so appreciate the sentiment but I would just rather not have that following me, as much as is possible. But again - I TOTALLY appreciate the thought and intention behind it!!!! Also, many apologies again for writing this in a public thread - I would send a PM, if that had been an option!!

@ScarletBegonia: mmm, adding cheese sounds awesome. I like to add peanut butter and making saltine sandwiches. Yum!
Totally understand the lasagna cry. I would have been so upset (and hungry).
cherry / 148 posts
@ScarletBegonia: oh no!!!!! I would be crying too! A couple years ago I made a burrito and wrapped it all nicel and put it in the microwave to cook. When it finished I opened the door and somehow grabbed the plate and it slipped and my hand slipped into the burning hott burrito and scalded my hand and fell to the ground the plate shattered. I definately was crying like a boob and I was not pregnant. I hate food falling
And the saltines with cheese sounds amazing

Adding my self to the emotional break down list!
Last night I was BAWLING as we went to bed because I think our house is too messy! Our house isn't messy.. but I'm upset because our dog threw up in our room on our really nice carpet. I could not stop crying and suggested we rip up the carpet. Poor DH!

Hello ladies,
Just checking in. I had my NT scan a few days ago and all looks well...I think? The lady spoke so quickly and with so few details that I'm not entirely sure what exactly happened!
Anyone else starting to realize there is a baby in them? It hadn't really hit me until this week. Until now, it was all so abstract. But now, I keep catching myself thinking, "hmm.. wonder what it's doing in there".

@ShayNanigans: Glad to hear you are doing okay. I agree with taking the names off the recurring list -- I appreciate the sentiment on the first post

@ScarletBegonia: I hate dropping food on the floor like that after spending all that time. I'd probably reacted the same as you.
@Mrs. Champagne: Geeze. Reminds me of when I get upset at myself while cleaning.. sometimes I look around and think, even after I cleaned the whole house, that its not REALLY clean because there's still cat hair on the curtains or dirt stuck in the track of the patio door. It's silly, I know.
@math.nerd: I kind of go back and forth between "Am I still pregnant?" and "Holy cow! I'm pregnant for the first time ... this is weird." Lol.

How is everyone doing? It's been so quiet in here!
I've been exhausted...first trimester fatigue is always my hardest symptom to get through. I hate being tired. I feel very unproductive, even though I'm trying to do as much usual stuff as I can.
@math.nerd: Since I haven't seen an ultrasound, it's hard for me to grasp the concept, lol. My pregnancy has been confirmed, but it's hard waiting to see the proof (besides a preg test!). I think it'll feel real once I see it.

Me too- sick, tired, some days are better than others. I tried to workout yesterday, but felt crappy after 10 minutes, so I sat down and read a book until my husband was done.
Mostly hoping for a good day or two this weekend so I can get some things done other than laying on the couch, and just waiting for the NT scan on Tuesday.
I had a nutty dream about the baby last night, that it was coming early and we had to pick out names. It was cool to see it, but definitely a strange dream.

@PixieStix: I have been feeling better the last couple days. I am hoping that this continues to get better. Dh comes home today from training so that will be make things 100% better.
Dh, N, and I are going to look at a house today. I have already seen it but I am hoping Dh will see what I see in the house. After we go to see the houses, we are driving north to see DH's family. I am pretty excited about it.
Ps: I am 12 weeks today! :))

@Dandelion: Doing much better these days. I'm at 13 wks and 2 days, today. I think I'm at the end of the first stage fatigue (which was my worst symptom, too). That, or it's just been a good week but I'm leaning towards the first because I normally have only one day a week of energy since becoming pregnant, if that. I hope you can pep up soon.
@MrsRcCar: That's exciting! Fingers crossed for you that all goes well. I know your house is out there somewhere!
grapefruit / 4712 posts
@Dandelion: I have been working a lot but I have been so tired too. I am usually asleep around 10 or 10:30 and it is a challenge to get up by 7:30 am. I am looking forward to having a little more energy. The morning sickness isn't so bad anymore. Just right when I get up now. The rest of my day I am feeling pretty good. New for me is that I am starving most of day. I think I just need to up my protein intake. I have zero desire to gain excessive weight just because I am pregnant.
@PixieStix: if Dh likes this house I will shoot you photos of it. It needs work but I am not afraid of the work. Hoping Dh won't mind a little elbow grease.

School started this week and I couldn't manage anything else except preparing for class and new students! This fatigue is nuts. I look forward to second trimester energy!
My nt scan is on Tuesday!
Hope you all have a lovely Labor Day weekend.

I'm doing pretty good here! I really haven't had much sickness.. just random waves of feeling like death that don't last long.. usually when I need to eat. This morning I felt so sick and faint while getting ready that I had to go sit on the floor and drink some OJ mid blow dry!
I'll be 12 weeks on Tuesday and have my NT scan on Thursday!! Cannot wait And for those that saw my thread about thinking my neighbour is pregnant... I'm going to tell them on Monday that I am, so if she is too she will probably tell me!

@Dandelion: still feeling sick and tired at times, but hoping it lets up soon. Lots of food aversions and very out of the blue cravings. I'm 11 weeks today!
watermelon / 14206 posts
@Bao: Speaking of out of the blue cravings, the other day I put dill relish on grilled cheese. At first it was sooo good, so I made another sandwich but then when I went to eat the next one it tasted gross, haha.

@MrsRcCar: Hey I don't mind a little work either, as long as the 'bones' of the home are solid. It can be a lot of fun to make it your own.
@Dandelion: LOL. What a let down! I too had a random craving recently: I had to make my mother's tuna fish salad, and then eat it on a sandwich. It was a staple of ours growing up but I hadn't had it in YEARS! I made it perfect, to a T like she used to and ate it with cheesy chips. I was so happy about it.
*** HAPPY LONG WEEKEND to all you mothers and mothers to be. Many blessings and wishes for a stress free, enjoyable weekend. ***

I'm 10 wks today. My nausea has improved a bit. Every three or four days, I seem to have a very bad day. Other than that, I've gone to bed before sunset most nights this week and my pants are feeling a little snug by the end of the day. Just ready to be out of the first tri. A lot of our friends and family know but I'm just eager to let everyone else in on the big secret. I have an appt on Tues. Might share with a few more people then, but I'm really trying to keep my mouth shut until 12 weeks.

@MrsRcCar: yay! Congrats
@Dandelion: feeling pretty good! I think the tiredness finally hit me I'm exhausted by 5 every day (although that could be the 11 hour work days lately - yuk). Excited for our next appt in two weeks and getting to tell everyone! Tonight DH said he thinks he can see a little belly already, although I think it's just my normal belly that I'm not bothering to suck in anymore, haha.

Hey ladies -
I'm so bored tonight - my husband is out at a bachelor party (he's the best man and thankfully will be staying at the bachelor's house, so at least i can go to sleep knowing he won't be crashing into the house wasted at 3am) and my plans fell through...so its just me and the TV tonight

@futuremama: Only our parents know. I'll be almost 11 weeks when I get my first ultrasound and after that I might start telling people. I probably won't put any big announcement on facebook for long, long time, though.
clementine / 854 posts
@Dandelion: I totally understand that. I don't think I'll be making a Facebook announcement either. People can figure it out when they see pics of a pregnant me tagged. Maybe once I have a healthy baby in my arms, I'll make something official. Not even sure I'll do anything then. I'm one of those people who never posts anything remotely interesting on Facebook but gets annoyed when none of my friends are spilling their guts

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Well, my sister was able to sneak me in and get me an ultrasound today. It felt great to see the baby actually looking like a baby and not just a gummy bear.

Hey ladies, hope everyone (well at least the US Bees) is enjoying Labor Day. I'm way behind, but have a quick question...
We were thinking of starting our belly pics today, but darn it I get so confused. I'm 10 w and like 2 days, or the 11th week....so when I take a picture is it "10 weeks" or "11 weeks?"
clementine / 854 posts
@HazelEyes: I'd go with 10 weeks and take another on the day you turn 11 weeks.
