@lemondrop @BabyBoecksMom DH and I just finished a bag of those this weekend (AND a giant bag of peanut M&Ms....). Delicious!

@BabyBoecksMom: I was still 7 lbs up from my pre preg weight from #1. So although it looks like just a couple lbs it's close to 10 in my mind (and closet!). I've also lost some muscle tone already

    How far along?
    13 weeks 6 days

    Total weight gain/loss:
    -5 lbs

    Maternity clothes?
Nope, shirts look awkward, but pants still fit.

    Stretch marks?
Just one under my belly button left over from last time.

    Sleep:
    Crappy, crappy, crappy!

    Best moment this week:
Our NT scan on Tuesday was so great! Awesome to see the little guy wiggling around.

Have you told family and friends:
Close ones and my IF friends, but I'm trying to figure out something clever for social media.

    Miss Anything?
    Sleep, having energy, food

    Movement:
Off and on since 10 weeks, he moved up recently, so less the past few days.

    Food cravings:
Taco Bell quesadillas, bagels and cream cheese, cheese crackers with peanut butter, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Anything making you queasy or sick:
What doesn't? Eggs, bacon, Jimmy John's sandwiches (usually my favorite)

Have you started to show yet:
    I have an awkward gut.

    Gender prediction:
90ish % sure it's a boy from the NT scan

    Belly Button in or out?
    In

    Wedding rings on or off?
    On

Happy or Moody most of the time:
It varies from minute to minute.

    Looking forward to:
Getting the recognizable bump. Second trimester awesomeness, I felt great this weekend, so I'm hoping that it's starting.

@Mrsjets: @babyboecksmom Oh yah, I've lost a ton of muscle too. While I haven't technically gained any weight I think it's just lots of lost muscle mass turned into fat haha.

  5. ScarletBegonia

    persimmon / 1339 posts

    How far along?
    14w4d

    Total weight gain/loss:
Gulp. Was down 5lbs at 8 weeks, but at my NT scan (12w5d) I was up 6! Gotta get the eating in check...

    Maternity clothes?
Into maxi dresses on the reg. Work clothes still fit, but that's only because most of them were too big before I got pregnant (lost about 25lbs since Jan 2013)

    Stretch marks?
Nope, but I'm sure they are on their way! If you've got fat to stretch, are you less likely to stretch your skin and leave stretchmarks?

    Sleep:
Variable...sometimes crap, sometimes ok. Still on doxylamine succinate (unisom) most nights

    Best moment this week:
Best friends had their hindi wedding ceremony, and we told a bunch of people (far after the wedding, so as not to steal their thunder!)

Have you told family and friends:
Most people know now...but haven't announced on FB

    Miss Anything?
A normal, controllable appetite!! And its just starting to warm up in Sydney, I'm soooooooo keen on a cold beer! Maybe a bit further into the 2nd tri I'll have a glass...

    Movement:
    Nothing I recognise!

    Food cravings:
McDonalds...I had resisted since 6 weeks but last night I caved and had a 1/4 pounder for dinner with a supersize fries and man....it was SO FREAKING GOOD!

Anything making you queasy or sick:
    Not really

Have you started to show yet:
Definitely, esp with empire waisted clothes

    Gender prediction:
    No idea!

    Belly Button in or out?
    In

    Wedding rings on or off?
    On

Happy or Moody most of the time:
Really happy!! Just moved into a new house and are getting settled...can't wait to nest!

    Looking forward to:
A bump that doesn't just look like fat, and getting our cats back next week (they've been on vacation at the breeders for 6 months while we've had our house fixed up), properly nesting!

  6. HazelEyes

    clementine / 811 posts

    How far along?
    11 weeks 2ish days

    Total weight gain/loss:
I have no idea, I never weigh myself, but I guess I'll find out at the doctor's Thursday

    Maternity clothes?
I bought some jeans, but do not have to wear them. Yet.

    Stretch marks?
    Nope.

    Sleep:
I wake up between 4 and 5 to pee and sometimes it takes a good hour to fall back asleep.

    Best moment this week:
Turning a corner and not needing naps every. single. day. Oh, and finding out that my bff from high school is due two weeks ahead of me!

Have you told family and friends:
Immediate family, my BFF and close friends that we have dinner with weekly.

    Miss Anything?
Having a glass of wine when at a restaurant.

    Movement:
I dont think so, but I did have a strange fluttery sensation on Friday low and left in my abdomen that lasted for about 20 seconds. But its too early to feel anything, right?

    Food cravings:
Bread products/pizza, which I rarely eat normally.

Anything making you queasy or sick:
It was chicken for weeks, but recently it has been the egg burritos we make each weekend. My fav!

Have you started to show yet:
No. But the bloating feels like it has gone down a bit, thank goodness. Still can't suck in, but nothing recognizable.

    Gender prediction:
I've always thought we were going to have a girl. I still do. DH has no idea, but pretty sure he's pulling for a boy.

    Belly Button in or out?
    In

    Wedding rings on or off?
    On

Happy or Moody most of the time:
Happy, but occasionally I get emotional out of the blue.

    Looking forward to:
Right now, our u/s on Thursday--hopefully everything is wonderful and we get the go ahead to be more open about being KU. I hate secrets! After that, having energy to work out again, a bump and nesting.

  7. BabyBoecksMom

How far along? 11 weeks 1 day
Total weight gain/loss: 7 lbs - I'm pretty sure 2 of those are in my boobs (I've been having to stay stuffed to keep the nausea away... which means I'm piling on the lbs right now. I'm not happy about it, but it's better than the alternative)
Maternity clothes? Pants, yes. The tops are still a little big.
Stretch marks? I have some on my boobs from last time but nothing bad.
Sleep: Insomnia hit me much earlier than last time - I'm awake from midnight to 2 every night
Best moment this week: Overnight date night with the hubby
Have you told family and friends: Yep - at 8 weeks
Miss Anything? Being able to work out. (So far, every time I do, I have all-day nausea for the next two days)
Movement: I think I felt a couple random kicks, but nothing consistent yet.
Food cravings: Sushi and salads (not together, though)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Pizza, coffee
Have you started to show yet: Not really, but I can fake it when I wear some maternity clothes
Gender prediction: Since this pregnancy is so different from last time, everyone is guessing boy. But because of that, I'm guessing girl.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: When I'm not feeling the nausea, I'm happy.
Looking forward to: 2nd trimester and working out again.

  8. Bao

    GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts

How far along? 12 weeks 3 days

Total weight gain/loss: I have no idea, we will see on Friday.

Maternity clothes? No just a belly band

Stretch marks? I have two small stretch marks on each hip from last time, but no new ones yet.

Sleep: It seems to be getting better, but sometimes if I get up to pee, it takes a while to fall back asleep.

Best moment this week: Found the heartbeat on my home doppler

Have you told family and friends: We told family and friends over the past week or two, and just announced to everyone last night!

Miss Anything? Coffee. I know I can drink it but I want to drink it and enjoy it with no guilt. I like my coffee very strong so it's not ideal.

    Movement: No movement yet.

Food cravings: I get very random cravings, and then they go almost as quick as I get them.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Gross smells, or smells of certain foods.

Have you started to show yet: I think I have a tiny bump but it may be more noticeable to me than anyone.

Gender prediction: I'm very certain it is a girl!

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Usually happy

Looking forward to: Getting my energy back, anatomy scan.

I just told my friend I was pregnant..- she already had a card waiting for me! She said my boobs totally gave me away. WOOPS!

Ladies, I am technically April, but according to my ultrasound I am measuring ahead and am March 30, so I've been peeking in here every now and then. Technically, I'm also anxiously reading this thread to hear how everyone's doing, because I'm so looking forward to the awful nausea easing up. It sounds like you ladies are starting to do better, and I'm glad to hear it -- for your sakes and mine!

  11. Dandelion

    watermelon / 14206 posts

@Mrs. Champagne: Ha! Those pesky boobs!

@gilmoregirl: I'm on both boards, too. I'm due in April, but will more than likely be having a March baby, due to previous complications.

Is anyone else really thirsty? I'm always sooo thirsty! I'm chugging liquids all day long. (And paying for it by having to go to the bathroom all day long, too!)

  12. BLUEDIAMOND

    coffee bean / 42 posts

@Dandelion: sooooo thirsty!! And drinking so much water before bed makes for a restless night

  13. BLUEDIAMOND

    This is fun! Good idea!

How far along? 13 weeks 2 days
Total weight gain/loss: Not sure. Probably up a few. My boobs are ridiculous and although I'm trying to eat healthy snacks, eating often as totally saved me from nauseousness.
Maternity clothes? Not yet, but need to go shopping!
Stretch marks? Not yet... Oil belly and boobs every night. I know people say it doesn't help and you will get marks anyway but I figure some extra moisture can't hurt!
Sleep: Pretty good. Except peeing a thousand times and not being able to fall right back asleep.
Best moment this week: Ultrasound last week. So amazing.
Have you told family and friends: Yes we are making the rounds telling. It's fun! Told family early and waited until heartbeat to tell some friends and just now sharing with others.
Miss Anything? Energy! I've never been so tired in my whole life
    Movement: Not yet, can't wait!
    Food cravings: Nope, just aversions.
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of fried food and seafood and randomly red onions. Also brushing my teeth. But don't worry I still brush them!
Have you started to show yet: little bump!
    Gender prediction: girl.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: baby moving and baby being in my arms.

@Dandelion: Dying of thirst! I always have a water bottle with me all day and constantly refill it.

  16. BabyBoecksMom

    GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts

I was able to do a short, easy, 30 min workout yesterday for the first time in over a month (and it was well overdue!). I didn't get queasy (that's a first), and I'm still feeling good today, although sore. I'm hoping this means the 2nd trimester "honeymoon" isn't far away.

I'll post this thread here since I know more of you ladies will see it

How far along? 13 weeks 2 days
Total weight gain/loss: not exactly sure but more than most of you ladies...jealous! and not sure how much is pregnancy related and how much is I stopped dieting when I got my BFP which caused me to jump up kinda quickly. Luckily I haven't gained more than 2 or 3 pounds in the past 3-4 weeks.
Maternity clothes? I bought some and they came today! I can still wear some "boyfriend" style capris, but they are super tight now! I'm sure I'll be making the switch soon. I don't really like the belly band. It falls off all the time!
Stretch marks? I think just past marks...I haven't noticed any new ones.
Sleep: I need it! I'm so tired. I wake up to pee a lot, especially if I drink too much before bed. Luckily we bought a memory foam mattress before I got pregnant so the bed is super comfy.
Best moment this week: We bought new living room furniture! We've been saving for almost a year and finally took the time to drive 3 hours (each way) to IKEA this Sunday. Unfortunately that is why I'm so tired. We left at 6:30am
Have you told family and friends: Yep! Parents, siblings, best friends at 9 weeks (after seeing baby) and big Facebook announcement I've been craving sushi, but not even raw fish sushi! I'm kinda debating going and getting some veggie/cooked sushi sometime.
Movement: I thought I felt what I would describe as a flutter once, but probably not. Baby is a maniac whenever we try to get a heartbeat, so I hope I feel something soon!
Food cravings: They come really quickly, but I've been thinking about sushi and Cheesecake Factory's avocado rolls a lot recently. Unfortunately we don't have one close by. But we are taking a weekend trip to St. Louis this weekend...we are already going to the Melting Pot so maybe we will hit up CF too
Anything making you queasy or sick: The egg smell left from DH's breakfast every morning
Have you started to show yet: I'm not sure if I'm showing or just looking fat. My stomach is definitely protruding, but my pelvic area isn't sticking out as far.
Gender prediction: I think boy. Honestly DH and I would be surprised if it was a girl.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: I think I'm happy, unless I get angry over something then I usually rage over it.
Looking forward to: hearing baby's heartbeat again and finding out the sex!

  19. bookwormmama

    persimmon / 1198 posts

@Dandelion: ALWAYS THIRSTY! I can never get enough water. I'm drinking like 100-125 ounces of water a day...and that doesn't include any juice or soda or coffee I drink!

  20. Dandelion

    watermelon / 14206 posts

@debbiei8: I know what you mean about smelling DH's eggs...mine isn't eggs, but my DH makes popcorn every night and it stinks!

  21. bookwormmama

    persimmon / 1198 posts

@Mrs. Champagne: I feel like I know what you mean by pressure now...I've been having it the past couple days. Especially when I stand up. I think it is the weight of my uterus pressing down because of change in gravity....it's really bothering my bladder! I'm wondering if the pressure from my buttoned pants is part of it. Hopefully it lets up soon! I'm hoping it means it's getting too big for my pelvic area and will be moving up soon!

@dandelion: DH is convinced the eggs don't make the apartment smell, but the intake vent is in the kitchen, so it gets blown everywhere. He started washing his pan to make it smell less and it seems to be bothering me less thankfully.

@Dandelion: @anonysquire: @Mrs. Champagne: Glad to know I am not alone in the thirst department! I constantly have something to drink with me. DH thinks it is so funny. I am growing tired of running to restroom all the time.

DH and I are going out to look at more houses tonight. I am hoping that soon we find a house we both love. I miss our own space.....

We are doing the reveal on Halloween probably. I have a great plan for it. I have great idea planned. I can't wait to share.....(by then we will know boy or girl)

Mum and I hit Babiesrus and they had baby clothes for mega sale! Mum and I bought little girl dresses and outfits. So I guess we are hoping for a little girl. If I don't have a girl I know a few other people who are presently due around the same time so one of us will have a girl. ( I am not gonna lie I don't want to part with them)
