@fussygal: @debbiei8: Yes, my skin has been breaking out too, but it's been a little worse since being off BCPs

Is anyone craving anything yet? So far, all I want to eat is healthy food (like spinach salads.... I feel like a rabbit). I barely even touched the fajitas we got for dinner the other night which is SO not like me.

  3. HazelEyes

    clementine / 811 posts

@debbiei8: haha, well, the plan was to not tell my parents. DH had to leave after a few days too, so i was also panicking about holding off wo him there to support me im such a bad liar Even if it's omission! that's good that you could hold off... Youll be more confident when you can tell them later.

  4. HazelEyes

    clementine / 811 posts

@BabyBoecksMom: no big cravings for me yet. Well except water. My thirst is insatiable.

  5. MrsRcCar

@fussygal: My skin has been breaking out like crazy. It is driving me really crazy. I never really had acne problems until pregnancy.
@BabyBoecksMom: All I want to eat is Reese cups! I am most defiantly not caving tho. I am so afraid to gain a lot of weight. My last pregnancy I lost weight. I know that it isn't likely this time. Just hoping to gain as little as possible.

@HazelEyes: the thirst is driving me crazy as well - especially at night

    @MrsRcCar: mmmmm Reeces

Anyone's symptoms coming and going? I felt like poo over the weekend. Now, my exhaustion and nausea have subsided. All I have left is some cramping. I'm trying not panic. I'm going to the dr today for another round of betas. August 5th can't get here quick enough!

  8. HazelEyes

    clementine / 811 posts

@futuremama: yes, mine are. But so far it's really just been thirst, tender boobs and a little gassy. Not sure if I've had the cramping other people have mentioned, or if I'm contributing that to gas pains

Actually I am kind of wondering if/when symptoms are going to increase. I'm very thankful to not have a ton, but then again, maybe it will make me "feel more pregnant" if that make sense? I'm still pretty early though, pretty sure I'm somewhere in week 4. My mom said she never really had MS, so hoping that runs in the family.

    How's everyone else feeling today??

@futuremama: Oh my gosh, me too! I went through a few weeks of nausea and feeling terrible. Now I feel pretty good. My boobs are a little sore, still bloated, acne - but that's really it! It's making me so nervous, too. And my ultrasound also isn't until August 5th! Gosh, I don't know how I'm going to wait that long.... lordy!

  10. fussygal

    pomegranate / 3580 posts

@futuremama: a bit! Yesterday I was a bit nauseous and last night I felt like I was getting a sore throat and ear ache (not sure if that's pregnancy related, but it was weird). Now I feel fine though. Hope your beta draw goes well!

Also, last night while i was sleeping i had some cramps that were the strongest ive had yet, felt very much like AF was on the way. So far all of my "cramps" during this time have been more like a pinching feeling, not so much the dull ache of AF. Please tell me I'm not the only one?! What are everyone else's cramps like?

  11. ShayNanigans

    cherry / 245 posts

@fussygal: I had really bad cramps at first. One was so bad that I had to lay still and not breathe. I had a lot of cramping until about week 5(ish.) It's really calmed down recently, so that I only have mild cramps now. I asked my doctor about it, and she said it's totally normal, that it's just because your uterus is so busy moving things around and stretching. She told me not to worry unless they don't eventually stop, or are consistently super painful. Mine just really slowed down this week (I hit 8 weeks tomorrow.) What you are describing sounds normal to me (in my non-medical opinion.)

  12. futuremama

    clementine / 854 posts

Well, I got a symptom. I have peed about thirty times today. I have not had any more water than usual, but I have to go to the bathroom every half hour. I've been rotating between the different restrooms so no one gets suspicious.

  13. BabyBoecksMom

    GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts

I have the frequent peeing and the exhaustion. I am still doing boot camp 3x/wk, but I think I might have to cut it out and just take the sleep instead because I hit a wall around 6pm whenever I go to boot camp (it may have to do w/ the fact that I get up at 4:15....). I took a 20 min nap in my car at lunch and I feel more tired now than I was before the nap.

Pregnancy + Narcolepsy = sucks! (I'm really missing my medicine now) Only 6 more weeks until I'm in the 2nd trimester - gotta keep my eye on the prize!

    clementine / 811 posts

I'm going to add tired today. I haven't done more than a few errands it I think a disco nap is in my future. Oh, and I was picking out an anniversary card while I'm wo the hubby and got a little teary. I can't say that cards haven't gotten me before, But usually it's when I receive them... Not standing in the aisle at target. Gotta be careful!

Add one more to the symptoms coming and going. But I'm not too worried. My boobs still have hurt constantly and I still get pretty sick if I don't eat. I'm thinking I'm going to make a first appointment for August 23, which should hopefully put me at 12 weeks. And hopefully I'll get an ultrasound!

I had my dating ultrasound today. It went well! My mother, N and I went to the appointment all together. Dh had to work so he couldn't come. I am measuring right on schedule and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat. I also found recently that a really good friend of mine is also expecting in march. She made the announcement on Facebook already. We won't likely share until we know boy or girl. I have a cute reveal in mind so we shall see.

In terms of symptoms I would really be happy if this morning sickness would take a chill pill, I am finding it hard to care for N when I feel like I am going to throw up.

Attached is a photo of the ultrasound. Not the best picture.

@ShayNanigans: Thanks! That is helpful to hear. Those darn cramps can be so scary sometimes!

@MrsRcCar: Yay for pictures and a heartbeat! I hope your nausea goes away soon

@MrsRcCar: Glad your appointment went well!

Not too many symptoms over here. Occasional nausea but nothing too bad, mostly just before I eat in the morning. My bad morning sickness didn't start until I was almost 8 weeks with A, so I'm counting down the days.

    @mrs. tictactoe: welcome and congratulations!

As far as symptoms go for me: nausea has started to hit, mainly in the morning and night. It's pretty awful if I don't keep food in my belly. No throwing up yet though. Other than that exhaustion and sore boobies still. But my symptoms definitely come and go, which I thought was odd also!

    First doctor appointment on Monday!

    Hello Ladies,
The last time I posted, I was just complaining about feeling crummy! But over the past few weeks I've learned some ways to cope with the MS a bit better and I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm still totally overwhelmed and feeling pretty icky most of the time - but at least now I feel like it will pass and be well worth the trouble!

Reading about all of your excitement and positive energy has really helped me. Thank you!!!

Gosh I feel like I've been MIA from here FOREVER! lol Today we should FINALLY have our pictures!!!! Our photog, as much as I love him, thought that he sent them to us on Sunday and then went on a mini vacation!!!! *gasp* He tried to remote in while they were gone but to no avail..... thankfully I should have them by the end of the day..... atleast for the sake of all those around me I will! lol

This week has been pretty busy & thankfully my symptoms have still been minimal (8 wks 2 days) AND I started keeping my food journal for my MW.... pretty good for the most part but due to being out of the house most of the day yesterday & my dinner plan ending up being scrapped (I was going to make a bean chili but at 8 in the evening the beans STILL weren't done) we picked up Wendy's... I hate having to confess to her! lol Oh well, I bad thing a week isn't horrible right?....

Otherwise things have been quiet over here & I'm just counting down the days to our next appt really hoping we'll be able to hear the heartbeat! We haven't decided if we're going to wait till then to announce or not... I know that it'd still be really early to hear the heartbeat by doppler & I don't think I can wait too much longer (kid #3 definitely = a puggy belly sooner).

@fussygal: I've been having some mild breakouts but NOTHING like with P! I've had a bit of wonderful bacne too. *shivers*

@BabyBoecksMom: I wanted an egg over easy today (something I haven't had OR cooked in over a decade) I think I would count that as my first official craving since it's so out there for me!... I ultimately had 2 eggs over easy in between 2 halves of a waffle slightly drizzled with syrup (yea the syrup was bad but I just had too!). it was pretty nummy!

@futuremama: I have some slight nausea that has come & gone. Otherwise I've been pretty symptom free! (fx it stays that way)

@MrsRcCar: Yay for bebes first pictures!!! Glad the appt went well!

@mrs. tictactoe: YAY! Congrats... so glad you're joining us!! Goodluck with your vbac. I have LOADS of resources if you want any!

    @matador84: Oooooooh how exciting!!!

@Bao: I hit 8 weeks & still have almost no symptoms! I really think that still breastfeeding is helping! (hope it continues staying away)

@HazelEyes: boo! I don't jknow if ill get in today. I've never seen so many people waiting (6). He had to go deliver and there's only a nurse here. I have to pick up DS at 330, an need to leave by 315 and its 245! Wahhhh!

New symptom over here: weird feeling in my throat. Almost feels like I'm about to come down with a cold, but it never comes on (hopefully!). It's kinda raw and "dusty" feeling (that is the weirdest description ever). I'm also teetering between nausea and starving hunger. Make up your mind body!

Also, what kind of pre-natal is everyone taking? I've been taking one from Target for a few months, but am interested to know what ya'll are using.

@matador84: Oh no - hope you get in!

@runsyellowlites: So excited to see your pictures!!

  32. Bao

    GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts

@fussygal: I took the ones from Target and now taking another grocery store off brand that is the same pretty much. I don't like to spend a ton on a name brand when they off brand is just as good...but that's just me!

  33. ShayNanigans

    cherry / 245 posts

@fussygal: I also use the gummy ones from Target!

  36. HazelEyes

    clementine / 811 posts

@fussygal: I've been taking Rainbow Light prenatals, because they are gentle-vitamins usually make me soooo sick. But been taking these since November and I like them, but Im pretty sure Target brand are totally fine. Oh and a DHA supplement since February bc my doc said to.

    @matador84: so frustrating!!
@fussygal: I've been taking rainbow light prenatals and dha supplement. So far it hasn't upset my stomach. I've been taking them since march. Omg I also keep going between ridiculous hunger and nausea. Ugh!

  38. runsyellowlites

    coconut / 8305 posts

@HazelEyes: Still no pictures... it's 4:30... I'm trying to keep myself busy playing Monopoly with DH & G and fixing to go get a movie!

@fussygal: I take rainbowlite b/c they're food based, vegan, easily absorbed, and I haven't had any tummy issues (with G I went through 3 different prenatals before finding one that didn't make me sick)

@matador84: Boo! That stinks! I remember waiting for 3 hours once at my obgyn when pregnant with G & they ultimately sent me home.... totally sucky!
