It's hard to believe we're here already, but since the first March baby has made his debut a wee bit early... here we go!

Ahh! So excited!! Especially excited to see what all of us team green ladies end up having

@lilyann: Especially since we're so boy-heavy already!
Somehow I feel like I've passed another milestone: official labor watch thread

@lilyann: @codeitall: I added a boy/girl count to the list, just out of curiosity - if every single one of our team greenies turns out to be a girl, there could still be more girls than boys born in our group!

I had a baby today
My water broke at 930pm while I was watching tv on the floor. Paid for parking at 1142pm and maisie was born at 1231am!
She's 7lb 2oz ( huge for 37w!!) she's literally been feeding since about 10 mins after birth ( 2 hours ago.)
Things were lightening fast and super intense, they wouldn't give me anything for pain as it was too fast. Not too bad though.
Super blessed for baby girl #3

@MrsB2012: Congrats!!!
I have a scheduled C section on March 13 and am still team green. I'm happy a week was knocked off my pregnancy. While I am physically prepared, I am not actually ready, but we have some diapers and a place for the baby to sleep so I guess we're ahead of the game?
Good luck ladies!!

Feel like I'm ready to pop..I've been losing small amounts of my mucus plug for a few days though my Braxton hicks have subsided. Last night I coughed super hard and pulled a muscle in my rib so I'm hoping that heals before I'm in labor.

@oskarsmommy: Eeeek! Getting closer!
@sheskrafty: Excited to see what you are having! Mid March will be here before we know it!
@Pinkberrry: I hope it heals quickly! Ahhh, mucus plug!

So I have been totally MIA sorry everyone! And to the two mamas congrats on your littles!
This whole baby is coming thing is totally overwhelming and freaking me out and doc
Informed me his is very big and I could be giving birth to an 11 lb baby! I am hoping he's much smaller. Pray for a smaller baby!

@Weswife: omg! That's crazy!
Still baby free over here. I got a prenatal massage today which felt nice..but the guy mostly focused on my shoulders/neck as opposed to my hips/legs which is where I'm the most uncomfortable..though I'm sure loosening up my entire muscle chain will be beneficial in the long run. Otherwise super tired today..and wanting this baby out already!

@Weswife: wow, has babe always been measuring big, or is it just recently they've said it looks big? I had a friend who's dr said her baby was going to be big (10+ lbs) and when she was born she was like 6lbs, they were wayyy off, so they are wrong about these things sometimes!
@Pinkberrry: ah a massage! That sounds nice! I want one so bad!
@Pinkberrry: how have you been feeling this week?
persimmon / 1165 posts
@Weswife: For my first, they thought she was almost 10 pounds and she was born 7 lbs 1oz. Hopefully their measuring for you is way off also!!

Baby Finn was born yesterday afternoon at 39 weeks exactly - 7lbs, 14.5oz. Went into hospital at 8:15am for induction, started pitocin at 9:00am, got an epidural at 12:30pm (6cm) and the little guy was born after 1.5 pushes at 3:21pm. We're both doing well and had an awesome birth experience!

@Weswife: The nurse I had in L&D was telling me about another patient she had yesterday who had an 11lb baby and absolutely no tearing - it CAN be done!

so I have officially stopped working out this week - I messed up on my disability insurance and in order to collect my benefits I need to keep this baby in until the 14th! So I figure I better not rock the boat anymore.
Lots of braxton hicks - and now I have ZERO appetite - hoping this baby can stay comfy in there for just a couple more weeks!

@raspberries: Congrats!! Sounds like a great induction!!
@oskarsmommy: Ahh!! Hope baby stays put for you!!

Baby Jack was born this morning (39 weeks 2 days) via scheduled c-section at 8:30am. He weighed in at 8lbs even and was 21" long! We're doing well, though I've had way more nausea and even some vomiting this time around, which is no fun post-op. 🤢

@MrsB2012: he is been about a week ahead this whole time. But doc told me at 36 weeks he was measuring 39! Ah plus my husband is much larger than myself. I am 5'5", he is 6'4" so good lord!
@raspberries: hopefully I can do it!!! I am trying to have faith and congrats! Love his name!
@JennEn: congrats! So cute!!

I updated the other board, but figured I'd post here too
we had our sweet boy at 12:42am on 3/10. Born a little unexpectedly via cesarean- but everything went so well and we are both doing great!! His name is Logan He is absolutely wonderful. We get to go home tomorrow.
I was only 37+4. He weighed 5 lbs 12 ounces at birth and has dropped a little weight and is down to 5 lbs 5 ounces. Just a peanut! He is 21"! Long and lean... like his mama used to be

@Mrs. Pen: I just saw this. Congratulations!! Welcome baby Jacob. Has Cobi met him yet? Everyone doing well?
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@T.H.O.U.: thank you ! Yes, he's two days old now- so Cobi's been with him both days. He's completely enamored with him. It's so precious. I had no idea how magical those first moments were going to be

@Weswife: if it helps, my husband is 6 inches taller than yours, I'm shorter than you, and we only had 9 pounders.
