@travellingbee: haha, yeah, it's gross. But if it helps boost my supply, it'll be worth it!!

@travellingbee: It really is nasty. @Adira: Thanks for reminding me to take again!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Smurfette: haha, no problem. I just had my second dose of the day at 10:30. Next one will be at 4:00! I just hope it helps because it is so gross. I'm giving it two weeks and if I don't see an improvement in my supply, I'm not taking it anymore!

@Adira: If it doesn't work, try the Fenugreek capsules. I take 2 twice a day since I am bad about the Mother milk

@Smurfette: reminded me too. And to pump. I've been bad about it lately.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Smurfette: Yeah, good idea. I hope this stuff works though! But if it doesn't, Fenugreek is my next thing to try!

My body must respond well to that Motherlove stuff. I started taking it again two days ago and while I was able to only pump a couple of ounces after he ate for the past week or so, this morning I pumped 4 ounces an hour after he ate. So again, it seems to have doubled my pumping ability.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@travellingbee: That is AWESOME! I've only been taking it for 24 hours so far, so I'm not sure when I'll see an improvement (if any) but I hope it's sooooon.

@travellingbee: Awww!!! I love it when babies eat their feat! Xander does it sometimes, but not very often. He's more interested in eating his hands.
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@travellingbee: That is awesome. And too adorable he is eating his toes. You have to post a picture. R just eats her hands and plays with her feet.
So I have pumped twice today and gotten 4ozs less then I did yesterday at this time I just don't get boobs

I just went grocery shopping. I found everything I needed and went to the register, and then realized I didn't have my wallet. Doh.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Smurfette: Uh oh! You don't think you might have another clogged duct do you?? Or did both sides produce less? Soooo annoying.
@travellingbee: haha, I've totally done that before!!!! Luckily, I had my debit card in another pocket in my purse, so I could still buy groceries, but I didn't have my ID so I had to put the wine back!
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@travellingbee: I always fear this is going to happen to me. Which is why I carry my handbag and then the diaper bag. Instead of carrying one.
@Adira: Nope, they both are producing less
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Smurfette: That's so annoying! I wonder why!! Did you produce more than normal earlier?
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@Adira: Yesterday I had 20 ozs total. I usually only get 4 ozs in the afternoon, so I will only have 16ozs for the day. Which should be fine. She should only drink 3 bottles today. Unless girlfriend got hungry and they had to give a bottle early.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Smurfette: Maybe because you got less this session, you'll get a little more in the next one. But who knows! Did you forget to take your supplements the past couple days? Hopefully you'll still have enough to cover R's feedings.

@Travellingbee: So cute he's eating his toes - I don't think Liam has 'discovered' his toes yet - I can't wait!
@Smurfette:Oh no - that's so annoying! I was so worried when I got way less the last couple days but then this morning when I pumped I was back to my normal amount. I don't get boobs either - they have a mind of their own.
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
Yeah I only pumped 18ozs today, so 3 oz less then yesterday. AS long as she drank 3 bottles today, I won't have to break into the freezer.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Smurfette: What a bummer!!! I was only able to pump 15oz (I THINK) and I can normally pump 16, so not as much of a drop as you, but still less than normal. I'm hoping Xander only had 3 bottles today too!

@travellingbee: He is so cute!!! He really has a hold on that foot! Love it!
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@travellingbee: so cute! I it!!
So R ate early so she ate all 4 bottles today. So I guess I am taking a couple ozs out of the freezer. At least I froze 5 ozs on Monday night. She didn't nap good today. So she has been cranky. We walked around outside a lot. Which it calms her, but I hate cause I get eaten alive by Mosquitos. At least they don't bite her. DH has to spray something this weekend.
I did get a huge smile when I picked her up. Made my day!

@travellingbee: So cute! Isaac doesn't play with his toes but he uses his feet to play with his hanging toys.

@Adira: @Adira: thanks! I like it in the door, I might have to do that!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Smurfette: Yeah, I think you aren't supposed to keep them in the door, but they fit perfectly there!! Plus I figure I won't keep them in the freezer for longer than 3-4 months, so I think it will be okay.
Sorry to hear that R ate all her bottles AND didn't nap great today! AND you were eaten alive by the bugs!! I hate that. Xander actually took two long nap at daycare which is amazing for him. But he had been up for almost three hours by the time I got him home so I had to put him down for a nap, which meant I didn't get to spend any time with him tonight except nursing. I also had to pump so I couldn't do bedtime either. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for both of us!

Isaac was asleep in bed at 9 tonight. 1 hour earlier than normal. Could be because he was up at 7 am today, a couple hours early. I am pooped and hope to be asleep soon too.
@Adira: That sucks that you didn't get to spend time with him tonight. Your milk is so organized. Do you think you are going to have enough pumped for the weekend?
@Smurfette: I hate Mosquitos but they really seem to like me.
@silver1: I hope you get a decent sleep.

@travellingbee: Awww! That is SO cute!
@Adira: I read you shouldn't put them near the door? But I suppose you are using them every day for daycare, so you don't need them to keep as long?
So... we officially have a ROLLER! We were practicing all those "typical" development stuff this morning. Must have made her bowels move all-around... we had the worst blow-out! I had to immediately wash our clothes, put her on the floor, came back and she was on her tummy!!! I was SO sad I missed it. It was the first time she rolled over on the floor and not the bed. Anyway, I put her on her back and she did it again. and again. and again! Yay for "typical" developments!
We also took K for her first swim lesson today and I think it went over really well! She cried for a few seconds after her first face dip. But I think she loved seeing all the other babies and enjoyed the rest of the class really well. We practiced a little more at home in our bathtub too. But she was SO tired, went to bed half an hour earlier!

@shopaholic: yay for rolling! I'm glad she did it a whole bunch after the first time. Swim lessons sound like so much fun. I cant wait to do them this fall.

@shopaholic: Yay for rolling and 'typical' developments! Swim classes sound so fun and the two of you look so cute! Glad she enjoyed her first lesson! I am super excited to take Liam to swim lessons - probably after this summer some time - we have an aquatic center across the street from our neighborhood so you've reminded me that I need to look into their class schedules!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@ALV91711: I think I'll have enough!! I'm just worried about FIL or SMIL trying to feed him too often and then running out. I'm going to emphasize that there isn't much extra so it's really important they stick to the schedule!
@shopaholic: Yeah, I don't think you are supposed to keep them in the door, but I think that just means they won't last the 6-12 months. I figure I'm going to use them sooner than that anyway so it should be okay. And I always do the smell test before sending them with Xander to daycare!
Such a cute picture! Glad the first lesson went well! And I'm so jealous of all the rolling babies. It feels like Xander will never get there.
pomelo / 5621 posts
@Adira: I'm sure Xander will start rolling anytime. Isaac rolled once a couple weeks ago and hasn't done it again.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@ALV91711: haha, thanks! I think he's just not interested in rolling at the moment. Oh well.
pomelo / 5621 posts
@Adira: the one nice thing about them not rolling is they stay where you put them down, you can turn your back for a minute and it is ok.
