Sooooo things did not go as planned. Unfortunately my bp was really high this morning so they sent me over to get induced. Cervidil in and just waiting for something to happen. Bummed about the induction but so happy to meet my little girl soon!! (Tomorrow am prob)

@Mae: good luck! I was induced for that reason last time and it all went well. Also my neighbor had a similar job situation but found out a week after she delivered. She found another job that she liked so much better and started when LO was 4 months old.

Hey everyone! I've been super MIA lately. I've been following along on my phone, but I hate writng anything on my phone, takes me forever! And we don't have a good computer setup at home, so I'm hardly ever on it.
@Mae: Wow, today is the day!!!! yayyyyyyyyyy! I know that you weren't really wanting an induction, but I hope that everything goes smoothly! I was really sorry to hear about your job situation

Hoping that things are progressing along for you. @Beebug: Yayyyy for nice weather, finally!!!! It was so much fun to put DD in her cute little summer outfits this weekend. I think I'm going to spend the rest of my week searching for sandals to fit her itty bitty feet...seriously...the issues I have finding shoes that fit her are unreal! Sorry to hear you aren't sleeping well. I'm still doing OK in that department...a bit more tossing and turning than usual, but nothing too bad luckily.
No real updates on my end. I'm really really hoping that baby makes an appearance this week. I really don't want to make it to my c-section date...next wednesday. I've been doing lots of walking, some sitting on my yoga ball, drinking some RRL tea...but I don't think I've even dropped. This is my 39 week and 1 day pic from this morning.

@cookie_dough: Love the pic!!! I need to take one today....! Oye on shoes for DD, what size is she again? I don't mind looking to see what I have as we go into size 6!! I have a pair of stride rites (closed toe) that got us through late summer/through fall that could be good for your girlie, I should check size. Put Canada Post to work for a borrow? I need to get DD a good pair of sandals for the summer too.

I had a huge score today, baby monitor for $139 at BRU, our warranty allows us for $79 to spend (what the last/broken one cost) I looked online for reviews of the $139 one, saw it on amazon for $89, asked if they price matched, she said yes, and then used a coupon I had to get $10 off....! So got a video monitor for the cost of our last one! Reviews online for it were good and a woman who passed me while I was comparing units said they had it and it was great, so here's hoping?! I feel silly that we got one, ask me how much I can't wait to test it with DD tonight, ha! DH and I are going to be locked on it.
I cut the grass today, and weed wacked.....want the baby out much?

Hi everyone! Thoughts and prayers to everyone currently in labor or being induced! We had our follow up ultrasound today to check fluid levels. Everything was status quo and the nst was good too so they sent us home.. We have scheduled our c-section for Wednesday at noon! I was kinda bummed we didn't get to meet her today but I'm anxious for Wednesday!

Alicia Claire was born yesterday at 8:52 am, she's 7 lbs 10 oz, appx 21 inches long. Surgery went well, though I had quite the hemorrhage after. Waiting on possible blood transfusion. She was briefly in NICU for slightly fast breathing and low blood sugar but only for a few minutes. All is perfect now, we are working on breastfeeding and love having her room in - lots of skin to skin for daddy and me. She's amazing!

Congrats and good luck to all of you who are being induced/in labor/have upcoming sections! I feel bad for not being able to comment specifically but service is spotty here at the hospital and my cell phone isn't awesome for HB posting either. I am checking in for updates though and I hope it's going well for everyone.

Mae sent me to come update that she's at the hospital, got her epidural (back labor and back to back contractions suck!) and is doing good but having a hard time typing with stuff all in her arms

Oh my gosh so many new babies! Can't wait to catch up a little later after I sleep! My induction unfortunately ended with a c section(long story) but more importantly Fiona June is here and she is perfect !! 8lb 4oz. 20.5 inches long and SUPER alert. We love her so much.

All I'm saying is, my dog is getting walked more than he's ever been walked in his life these days. And I'm feeling 100% normal. My doctor said yesterday it's the calm before the storm, but we'll see about that.

40+1 here, is anyone else in the overdue club right now? I need to go check out that calendar.
It's supposed to rain here today, so I may get some cleaning done, and less dog walking!
I have had some RRL tea, but need to amp up the fun inducing ideas, lol. I am realistically still expecting not to go until next week, but why not try.

@Mae: Congratulations! Welcome to the world, Fiona! I hope you're recovering well from the c-section. Take it easy for a while and let your husband do as much of the baby care as he can for awhile. That helped me a lot to heal the first day, then came the fun part of getting up and about.

BTW!! We set up video monitor on DD last night, SO MUCH FUN!
Omg, haha. Just for bedtime and this morning, it was so fun to creep on her! Video quality is good and so neat to be able to see her! I didn't keep it on through night, confirmed from when we have gone in on her that she sleeps like I do, and it's too cute.

Hopefully your c-section recovery isn't too rough. @Beebug: Haha, I feel the same way! I feel like everyone has their babies already, and we aren't even halfway through the month!!! Hopefully ours will show up very soon.
I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon, hopefully he will tell me that things have progressed! And hopefully it won't be as awkward as my last appointment
