    @Adira: @sorrycharlie: @Happygal: @Mrs. Confetti: @Snowdrop: @Radish: @oliviaoblivia: @namaste: @Meowkers: @theotherstark: Thank you so much ladies!!

I was seriously freaking out when I wiped so much dark blood for the pee test before seeing the OB that I thought I was going to miscarry right there! I then thought well at least I'm at a hospital. So glad everything turned out okay.

I asked her about the blood where it came from. She suspects that it was probably implantation bleeding that was making it way out because she didn't see any blood clots in the u/s. She said if I start to cramp badly or if there is a LOT more blood please come back in but other wise she will see me next week.

You guys definitely made it easy for me to make it through this day. Thank you everyone. *big hugs*

@sorrycharlie: I'm jealous of people getting u/s too! Now that I have one I feel a million times better.

I know what you mean about people dropping out of the boards recently being pretty scary.

    @Mrs. Confetti: Steal away!

Strangely enough, the bride JUST emailed me tonight asking me if I'd wear a blue instead of green dress, because apparently only one other person has picked blue and I'm the last one. (Dangit! I was hoping it wouldn't be so obvious that I was late to the party!) So it looks like I'll be telling her soon!

  10. Raindrop

    grapefruit / 4731 posts

@mfa_lady: Yay that worked out since you got the blue dress!

Funny story. My mother is a stickler for Chinese myths and nothing was coming between her and grandkids. One myth is that you aren't suppose to have anyone pregnant in your bridal party (where their bridal parties back in the day?) or else the bride will have trouble conceiving. I had 3 bride maids and I had to ask them before they committed if they were planning to get pregnant because my mother would not have that and I would need to pick someone else. No judging of course they had a right to have kids! Lucky for me all of them were not planning to have kids anytime soon. Hehe.

@Gigi2: that's the same thing my ob told me. Not to worry about the measuring behind. It was the same thing last time for me so I'm not quite as worried. I definitely know that I didn't ovulate on a Tuesday and I was measuring ahead 2.5 weeks earlier. I still had a really long baby the first time so it doesn't even say anything concerning length either (B was born at 22.5in).

@Raindrop: pew, I'm glad I woke up to good news on your end! So happy for you!

@mfa_lady: ahhh, you'll have to let us know how she reacted

@sorrycharlie: same here, so nervous that something could be wrong. So I was so, so glad that little bean had a strong heartbeat. Hope those two and half weeks fly by for you!

After reading Mrs. Hopscotch's post, is anyone else now worried again that a surprise twin is going to show up at the next ultrasound? A coworker also had this happen to them, so crazy!

  15. mfa_lady

    pomegranate / 3921 posts

@MrsTiger: I told my husband about her post yesterday. I thought he was going to throw up. HAHAHAHAHA.

ETA: For the record, he'd be a great twin papa....but oh, the fear!

  16. HappyBaker

    nectarine / 2242 posts

@mfa_lady: Haha I totally know what you mean. I didn't even mention it to my husband because he would totally throw up too!

@Mrs. Blue: Oh, my goodness. Can I just say that you should warn your fellow hormonal pregnant mamas when you're going to write such an amazing blog post? I DEFINITELY should have waited until I got home to read that one. Thank you for sharing that journey with the bees! I really loved reading it.

@MrsTiger: If it happens to any of us, we'll have to send our husbands to @Mrs. Blue: so her hubs can calm them down. They are rock star twin parents--so we have a good model!

@MrsTiger: I know that Mrs. Hopscotch's is going to be in the back of my mind at my next ultrasound!

And I totally agree @mfa_lady: - your blog post was beautiful, @Mrs. Blue:!

Hey ladies! Happy to join you! I have a lot to catch up on!

    EDD: Jan 15, 2015

When did you find out: A few weeks ago

How do you feel?: Better now that the morning sickness isn't all the time.

Child #: 2!! LO1 is an infant. We are in the 2 under 2 camp!

What type of provider will you see?/What type of birth do you want to have?: Same OB/GYN practice as LO1.I was induced the first time so I'm curious what it's like to have labor progress naturally.

When is your first appointment?: Had it last week. Go for an ultrasound 6/24.

What are you most excited about?: A playmate for LO1 (eventually)

What are you scared/nervous about?: LO1 feeling neglected. She's a cuddlebug and very clingy and we won't be able to hold her as much when LO2 comes. Although she will be a toddler by the time LO2 arrives so maybe she will be more independent.

@MrsTiger: I was thinking about what a surprise that would be to find out now we're having twins. But I also thought that might make me feel better about my expanding stomach. I saw someone yesterday write that they didn't wear maternity clothes until 18-19 weeks--I can't imagine!

Great discovery last night--Trader Joe's fruit popsicles. I had one that was strawberry, raspberry, and lemonade. If you can get your hands on them, GO GET THEM!

@mfa_lady: @charmed: Thank you, and sorry! I have to admit the hormones didn't help when I was writing that; I had a big ol' ugly cry in the middle of it.

I'm getting to the point where instead of having no appetite, I really just want to be eating ALL. THE. TIME. I still don't want the greatest food (I'm eating southern-style broccoli casserole with a cup of hot chocolate right now...WHAT?!) but I am a lot hungrier. Hopefully that means I'll get some energy back soon??

I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow, and I'm really hoping to be a little closer to myself when we go on vacation with my in-laws during week 13. My MIL has tons of activities planned every day, and I don't want to wimp out.

@Mrs. Blue: I just read your blog post. I'm glad you shared that story, so touching. But I also realized you have twins with another on the way. Holy cow, super mom over there!

@MapleMoose: My bad! Hahaha. My SIL was here (she knows I'm pregnant because we were at a wedding with her the day after we found out, and she totally called us out....we were NOT smooth) and we were at the grocery store. In the checkout line we were behind some guy buying Frosted Flakes, which I haven't eaten in about ten years....but I saw them, and had to have them. I made her keep our spot in line while I went to get a box...and came back with chocolate Pop Tarts, too. WHAT THE HECK?!

@mfa_lady: "I'm eating southern-style broccoli casserole with a cup of hot chocolate right now." ---HAHAHAHAAHA! That sounds like the most disgusting combo, which makes it so much funnier. Pregnancy is weird.

  40. mfa_lady

    pomegranate / 3921 posts

@Mrs. Blue: EXACTLY. It's totally a disgusting combo, and I just sucked it down like it was the most amazing thing ever. What on earth?! (Also, it's 80 degrees out. Hot chocolate? Really?)
