@MrsTiger: glad the NT scan went well - too bad you weren't able to get any pictures!

@Mrs. Confetti: It sucks that they couldn't find the hb at your 12 week appointment either, but it's reassuring to hear that it's happened to others. It's silly, but I was almost relieved to see that the same thing happened to @MrsTiger today, I was still pretty wound up after my appointment.

@pmrlady: I've heard about the gender blood test, but I don't think my dr. offers it (and I know my insurance wouldn't pay). So I'm just looking forward to finding out around 20 weeks - it's a nice middle of the pregnancy thing to look forward to!

Our trip was pretty good! I just realized how much my body changed over the weekend. I've definitely got a bump now and I'm exhausted. We were out late every night and up early in the mornings so it's taking me some time to recover. I heard the church announcement went well and I'm glad they did while I was away because ugh, anxiety. I get very overwhelmed easily by other people's reactions/questions because I don't like a lot of attention.

@Radish: Ugh same! This is exactly why I made the bff and her husband do it :P. I've only told less than 10 people directly, well not including the blog readers. I like having the news take care of itself.

@charmed: last time I did 10 weeks, 20 weeks, 30 weeks and 39 weeks (day I delivered). It would be nice to hit those again this time.

@charmed: @namaste: I'm all for a bump thread! Who wants to start it?

@charmed: I have been totally delinquent about taking bump photos and I did a ton for my first. I am rationalizing by saying that I will once out of the first tri but geez I am huge already. And I totally failed getting a "before" pic like I did last time. But if someone did a thread for it, I suppose that would light my fire to start snapping.

@pmrlady: I just got a call from the lab today telling me I could find out the gender in my test results next week! I was shocked. Had to get the test as I have genetic conditions to worry about so am high risk, and my OB explained everything about the test so completely, except the part about learning the gender via blood test. I feel kind of freaked out and not ready to know just a week from now! Was happy to wait until 20 weeks, and thought we might even end up team green...but now if the info is right there, will I decline it?! Hmm...

Hope you ladies are all feeling good! I'm heading off to Europe for the trip I was so worried about right after BFP and feeling good - I think it'll be a fun time.

Oh - btw my next appt is 7/9 for NT scan.

My day today was a lot better than yesterday. I actually had to leave work early yesterday 'cause I was feeling all off and was feeling like I was gonna faint. No good...
Tomorrow I have to go back to the clinic with B and really hope they'll find some answers to his too high liver markers.

@charmed: @Pumuckl: I wouldn't mind sharing on a non gold thread, I probably just wouldn't show my face. Either way is fine with me.

@Gigi2: Have fun in Europe!! I'm jealous, I can barely go to the grocery store without feeling like puking!

Quick update and will catch up later when DD is in bed!

Official due date is Jan 25! But they will be inducing me at 39 weeks, due to my history of precipitous labor. SO RELIEVED. Now to hope I don't go into labor earlier than 39 weeks!! So induction will likely be Jan 18. Should I update that in the list?

Here's baby, 10w3d my OB is awesome and even videoed the ultrasound screen for me with my phone.

I'm feeling pretty meh now but earlier I felt great and was able to walk downtown at the same pace I usually do which I haven't tried since I was pregnant.

@sorrycharlie: What a great pic and such a good idea to take video of it with your phone!

@Gigi2: have lots of fun on your trip! I would love to be heading overseas to eat lots of good food right now.

@bhbee: yeah for good news! I was thinking about you yesterday. How are you liking your new OB?

@sorrycharlie: beautiful picture! Glad they have a plan in place for you. Plans always make me feel better.

@charmed: I'm usually the first one up, but my husband has beat me to it the last week or so. It's more that I feel crummy when I wake up, like I'm slightly hungover. I think it's b/c I'm going to the bathroom so much during the night! I've also given in to my 4:00 sleepiness and taken a nap the last few days, but I try to avoid it since it's so late in the afternoon.

@Pumuckl: I hope you have a good doctor's appointment today and they come up with some answers for you. Please let us know how it goes!

@namaste: I hope you continue to feel better! Do you work in the downtown area?

@charmed: yes, please start a gold bump thread! There can be two threads, and while I won't post pictures on the non-gold thread, I will certainly check in and comment! I still feel mainly chubby looking and not very bumpish.

@namaste: I lost 7 lbs in the last 5 weeks.

I lost 25 lbs with my first. I was kind of worried by my OB said... babies are like parasites (I know not a great imagine there). They will take what they need so you don't have to worry about that UNLESS you are underweight and maybe there is not enough of what it needs in you.

I'm not sure if that is helpful, that is what my OB told me. I'm overweight so it was never an issue with me to loose weight.

So, I told my boss this afternoon. I was so embarrassed that I was bright red and my other coworker was cracking up (she already knew), but I'm glad it's done.
