@sorrycharlie: Sorry, I copied my last one not realizing you had been the last to update, but I only crosschecked appointments. On it!

@Radish: lol it's okay!! I think that was the last attempt I'll make at adding appointments! It was so overwhelming. I think I tried on a day a ton of people had appointments ha maybe that's why?!!
I would love another girl too.. Then I feel guilty because I know how badly dh wants a boy.

@sorrycharlie: Haha, it is a lot to comb through. DH would be happy with another girl, but I think he would really love a boy, especially if this ends up being our last.

@oliviaoblivia: hooray for sisters! I loved having a sister so much. I can't wait to see what this little girl will look like!!!

@oliviaoblivia: Yay!! Congrats on your sweet little girl!
I can't believe it's all girls so far on this thread. Someone needs to step it up and make a boy for us. I promise they're really fun!
I've once again been MIA. Two weeks from today I finish my job and will get to stay home. I'm so freakin' excited and terrified all at the same time. After another week of ridiculousness trying to get my records to my hopefully-new-ob, the receptionist confirmed today that they got the hospital records yesterday and I should hear today if he will accept me as a patient. I'm due for an appointment this week, but I know that's not going to happen since I'm not even officially in with the doctor yet. And, I still don't have an anatomy scan scheduled for the same reasons. I'm really hoping that (1) he agrees to see me, and (2) that they get me in really soon. Thankfully, Rosebud has been moving around some this week (waaaay earlier than I felt anything with the boys), so I at least know that s/he is okay in there.

@Mrs. Blue: I know! All girls! I have a feeling I'm going to be another one...although I'm not sure why. I can't tell if I really have a feeling or if I'm putting too much stock in the ultrasound tech's early guess. Either way, if they say it's a boy, I'll be shocked. And probably, much to my husband's embarrassment, ask them to double check. Haha!
Good luck at the last two weeks of your job and with getting in at the new doc! I hope the transition goes smoothly for you.

@mfa_lady: Thanks! I was convinced we were having girls last time, so obviously I cannot rely on my own "mother's intuition," but it seems pretty accurate for other people! I refuse to even voice my guess this time since I can't be trusted.

@oliviaoblivia: Yay congrats! So excited and happy for you to have a sister for your DD!
I find out Monday and absolutely can not wait!

@Mrs. Blue: I was also certain I was having a boy last time and had a girl - so I don't trust my mother's intuition either. Hope transitioning to a SAHM goes smoothly!

@Mrs. Blue: yay, that is so exciting!!! enjoy the craziness that is staying home. lol!

I have an OB again, people! Big news over here! Next appointment is Aug. 13, and they said they'll schedule the anatomy scan then. I'm kind of bummed because the receptionist said they usually do that between 20-22 weeks. I was really hoping 20 weeks would be the latest they would do it. I'm ready to see this lil' bit again!
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
@Mrs. Blue: yayyy! congratulations on being accepted!
nectarine / 2079 posts
@Mrs. Blue: Yay! I get to go through the fun of switching OBs after 20 weeks. We already called the two potential OB offices and they said it shouldn't be a problem, but we will see when the time comes.
blogger / pomegranate / 3491 posts
@Mrs. Blue: mine also said 20 weeks at the absolute minimum. Last time at a different practice, I found out at 18 and change.

Thanks everyone. I'm ridiculously excited to have two girls, would have loved a boy too, but sisters make me happy.
@Mrs. Blue: hooray!! Sorry you have to wait longer for the anatomy scan. I had to wait with my first and it drove me nuts.

I just wanted to share this here as well @oliviaoblivia: suggested an awesome website for baby registry items on my parenting thread post regarding what to get.
http://www.lucieslist.com
It is super helpful. I feel like I'm excited and at the same time dreading picking out what to get lol

@pmrlady: What a great resource! I had a lot of fun looking at it last night. Still totally overwhelmed by the thought of registering...but this helps!

@pmrlady: Thanks for sharing! This helped me so much!
Just chatted with the BFF today about the baby shower and I'm already feeling in over my head D: lol my wedding was very small and I didn't really do anything so this is already over the top for me.

hey ladies, sorry I went totally mia on you. We had a rough couple of weeks with a stomach bug from hell that had me out of work for 10! days. totally sucked. I had my 16 week u/s today and our little GIRL is perfectly healthy! she was really cooperative so the doc is 100% sure she really is a girl. I'm excited and scared at the same time...
I'm on my phone and hope to catch up later with all of you.

@Pumuckl: Oh my goodness--I'm so sorry you haven't been well! I hope you're fully recovering and celebrating that baby GIRL!
So many girls on this board--craziness!!

@Pumuckl: a girl for you too!! Hooray!! Glad you're feeling better. Dh and DD had the stomach flu this year and even though I didn't get it I was out of work for a week to take care of them.

@Pumuckl: Congrats! That's a bummer about the stomach bug, hope the rest of your pregnancy is a lot healthier for your whole family.

@Pumuckl: congrats!!
So issue #1: Rhinitis (or whatever it is): plan is to try claritin and flonase. if that doesn't work they want to try an antibiotic, and if that doesn't work, I have to see an ENT. joy.
Issue #2: depression and anxiety: they're having me start lexapro again. I'm actually really hopeful it will help! it did before pregnancy..ready to feel myself again.
Issue #3: dryer - new dryer just came!! have to wait for DH to come home from work tonight to install but..YAY CLEAN CLOTHES! lol!
also..tons of baby movement this week. a couple weeks earlier than I felt with my daughter (15.5 weeks with this baby, 16-17 with her). So fun.

@sorrycharlie: Yay for the dryer and baby movement. Hope the other issues are resolved quickly!

Hi everyone - I have been completely MIA, dropped off the earth, but have been reading and checking in when I can and am thrilled for all of your progress and good news... and wanted to add ANOTHER January baby girl to the mix!!! Wow! So excited to see all these girls. My husband is beyond thrilled for a girl (very cute) and I'm nervous. So happy for everyone! Also, my due date has moved up to 1/20...next appt is 9/4.
So happy you're all doing well and will do my best to check in more. Work has been a nightmare with lots of traveling, want to give up and just focus on fun baby stuff! xoxo to you all.

Soooo, I'm drinking a Coke right now (end of day pickup before/during my 4:00 meeting, haha) and baby is flipping out. Haha! It feels like tiny little flicks and pinches, which makes me laugh because I feel like my kid is telling me it's bad for me. Buuuut....it also makes me feel him/her, which is my new favorite thing, so....I'm gonna drink the whoooole thing.
nectarine / 2242 posts
@mfa_lady: I realized I've drank a coffee before every one of my OB appointments so far, and that maybe that is why this baby is moving around so much at them! I'm not going to drink one Monday before my ultrasound to see if it helps baby stay still so we get a good look at its parts
