If you guys want to feel better at 20 weeks I was up about 12 lbs. I think the average is around 10-13 lbs. But I was the same way last pregnancy and still only gained 25 lbs total.

Eek I totally forgot about this thread!!! It's so exciting to see all the gender announcements!!
We have a regular OB appt (with an U/S!!) tomorrow so hopefully we'll find out gender then but if not the official anatomy scan with the perinatologist is scheduled for July 1st!

I am the most inactive Nov lurker, so sorry! I moved my anatomy ultrasound to today because I realized that I need to go out of town when it was originally scheduled (next Friday).
We are team green so I really hope they don't spoil the surprise today-- eek! I'm nervous and excited.
I love reading about others' experiences and do follow these Nov boards regularly. But am lame and don't post really - will try to fix that once things settle down. (Bought a place two weeks ago, have been fixing it up, now moving on Friday ... So busy).

We just got back from ours, baby is healthy and measuring right on track. He weighs 12oz (so, up 4oz from Friday --according to What to Expect) & he's moving all over the place! He's sitting super crazy low and I have a posterior placenta. I remembered to ask this time!
Here is a shot of the goods. He opened his legs and threw his hand up pointing at it for us lol!

@MrsTiz: That's awesome!!! Nathan was 8 oz at 17 weeks and they were acting like he was enormous. Glad our babies are just healthy boys!!

@MrsTiz: I was a 7 lb 2oz baby, but DH was 8 1/2 lbs I think. I have a friend who is a NICU nurse and she says one rule is to average both parents' birth weights. In that case, he should be pretty normal haha

The gender was successfully kept a surprise yesterday, phew. It was still fun to see the baby for an extended time while they did all of their measurements. Can't believe that we are all about halfway there! Hope everyone else enjoys their anatomy US

I have a boring appointment on July 22 and another ultrasound September 16th to check growth.
My (boring) appointment yesterday was just that. She really didn't do anything but listen to the heartbeat since I just had my ultrasound the day before. My midwife was more interested in hearing how my son made out with his scopes the other week.

Baby J is progressing perfectly! 11oz and measuring right on target. DH is pretty convinced he figured out the gender lol. The baby kicked the ultrasound wand and then grabbed the umbilical cord while sucking its thumb. Too cute!
