Is anyone else having some cramping? On the day I had my implantation temp dip I woke up in the middle of the night with one HUGE pinch on my right side. Since then I've had pretty consistent pinching/poking feelings in the same spot. It's not like normal AF cramps and is mostly on my right side and very, very rarely on the left. It has me kinda freaked out, but I guess maybe that's just the side I ovulated from? I'm probably just worrying for nothing, but wondering if anyone else has that feeling on just one side?
ETA: By "side" I mean really low and kinda toward the center of my pelvis, where you'd feel O twinges, I think.

@fussygal: I've had quite a bit of cramping too, though not all on one side. I can always feel a heaviness or a pulling there. It's kind of freaking me out, but I just keep taking my prenatals and thinking positive thoughts. Just wanted to let you know you're not alone!

@fussygal: I've had pinches too. They seem to come and go on both sides though, although right after my BFP it was more one-sided.
I was starving all day, then when it was time for dinner, I got so nauseated it took a looong time for me to eat tonight.

@digapony @lilteacherbee thanks, ladies! It's comforting to know I'm not alone!

@fussygal: I don't know if mine is cramping, but it feels like it only on my right side down low. It freaked me out!
Does anyone else have a snack drawer at work? Mine is a little crazy, it's all this plus a box of Cheerios that doesn't fit in there. #fatgirlprobs

I had one sided cramping earlier on and it definitely freaked me out. Now I'm getting cramps everywhere, haha!
I'm getting close to 6 weeks and I'm noticing a carsick/queasy feeling a lot of the time. I barely have any appetite but I'm trying to make myself eat.

@mrstiz @mrsdragon Over the weekend the cramps started happening on both sides so I feel a lot better!
@mrstiz I'm jealous of your snack drawer!

Oh my goodness, did I ever feel awful this morning! I was trying to take a shower, but I had to keep ducking out because I thought I was going to faint/throw up, and I ended up not being able to shave because I felt so terrible. I laid down on the bathroom floor for awhile.
Also, my boobs have started to hurt like crazy!
@MrsTiz: I need to take a page out of your book and make myself a snack drawer at work!

I was bragging to my SIL about how I haven't had any morning sickness yesterday and today I just threw up my entire sole. Gah

Still not much symptom-wise...not sure how to feel about it! Every now and then I'll get a slight wave of nausea, but that's about it. Still not much as far as boobs go, haven't been super fatigued... OH, the one HUGE thing I've noticed is that I'm breaking out SO bad...EV-ERY-WHERE. My face, chest, back...I'm like a giant zit.
But yeah, other than zittyness, that's about it...

@ms.janedoe: My whole chin is like one giant under the skin pimple. So glamorous, ha.

Not much to report for symptoms here, other than breast tenderness and some dull, crampy feelings yesterday. I was positive AF was finally going to show up. I even POAS to make her, lol. No such luck. Oh, and I swear I already have placenta brain. I have accomplished NOTHING but talk to people about being pregnant, making pregnancy appointments, etc., haha! And I only found out this morning. But I'm so scatterbrained when it comes to anything else! Oh, and I'm starving, but that could be because I'm coming off of a diet involving 500 calories a day, lol. Yeah, told my nutritional counselor that coached me through the diet about my BFP and he's like, "Yeah, should probably go off it. Start adding in some fats." But other than that, I'm feeling pretty fine and normal. Which is typical for me when I'm pregnant. I'm lucky, I know.

@ms.janedoe I found one in my ear this weekend!!! So gross
@farmwifegina Wow, 500! Were your other pregnancies pretty mild with symptoms, too?

@FarmWifeGina: wow, the diet sounds intense! Congrats on the weight loss.
I haven't broken out yet, but nausea has officially set in--at night. Fun. I had saltines and diet coke for dinner. Yuck.

@DigAPony: I had my first bit of really bad nausea last night too. Terrible. I also came home from work and slept until 8pm.

@fussygal: Yeah, I was kinda made to have babies, lol. This is my 3rd pregnancy and all of them have been fairly straight-forward and easy, besides some pelvic/round ligament pain and other random pregnancy pains.
@DigAPony: I was on the HCG protocol, which is actually more of a program to fix one's metabolism with weight loss as a side effect. Granted, I did do it for the weight loss, but it's pretty unbelievable how it's fixed my low blood sugar issues and so on.

I've been pretty nauseous in general, mixed with ravenously starving. Yesterday the only things I ate all day before dinner were saltines and a couple cheese sticks and half a vanilla milkshake. Winning, right? Then I had a massive dinner at Carraba's of calamari, soup, chicken piccata and pasta.
Anyone else not into any food they loved before? I used to be such a chocolate addict. I would eat chocolate in some form every day. And now I have no interest. Even yesterday's milkshake was vanilla, which I'm not sure I've even ever had before, lol.

@FarmWifeGina: this might be a silly question, but i'm just curious, if someone is taking HCG for the diet then they have it in their system & that's what HPTs test for, so how do you test for pregnancy if you know you'll test positive for HCG even when you're not pregnant? do they have to test using ultrasound or is there a baseline that on the diet you don't go over so they can tell by your beta? or do you test out your last dose like when people test out their HCG fertility injections?
pear / 1571 posts
@mrs. bird: I was on a homeopathic form, which is virtually impossible to detect in the body through pregnancy tests. The HCG in a pregnant woman's body is millions of times the dosage of any HCG diet protocol. I have taken pregnancy tests during previous rounds, just out of curiosity and there was never even a hint of a line. Plus, my nipples have never hurt like this, not on any of my rounds on HCG, only when I've been pregnant. But it's a good question. The Rx form of HCG is stronger than what I've been on and has been known to give a faint false positive, but my tests showed positive in SECOND, and dark lines too, so I'm pretty sure it's legit.

@mrs. bird: Sorry, did that answer your questions? I just kind if blathered about me and my HCG, lol.

@FarmWifeGina: interesting! i hope that didn't come across as me questioning your pregnancy, that was not at all my intent, i was just curious about how that all works =) congrats on your weight loss & baby!

@MrsDragon: mine chin looks nasty too! Yuck I told dh I feel like a pizza face!
I'm gonna be honest... I don't remember symptoms like this before so I'm gonna assume this is great news for a sticky baby! I don't only have morning sickness (which started the day after implantation), I have ALL DAY SICKNESS! And fatigue. And constant hunger. And the sorest boobs/nips around town. Wowzers!

My wrists and ankles feel like thy need to be popped multiple times a day. It's driving me nuts because I hate to pop bones, but the relief feels so good. I've never hear of this as a symptom, but it's never happened in so many places at once!
pear / 1614 posts
@fussygal: My back popped a lot more with my first pregnancy. I could never get comfortable unless I did a standing forward bend yoga move, and then I felt things popping and settling. By the end I was doing them all the time and it felt great.

Anyone else here pregnant for the third or more time? What I'm feeling isn't really crampy, just full feeling the the lowest part of my belly. A bit like AF might be coming, but very, very mild- am I already feeling the stretching and growing of my uterus?! It's crazy!
honeydew / 7909 posts
These cramps are new! I had to come on here and read everyone's symptoms to reassure me! Phew
clementine / 948 posts
@Ash: @MrsDragon: @ms.janedoe: Ugh - chin issues are my only symptom too. But I feel like it is so obvious and screaming "I'm pregnant" for everyone to see. I think between that and my crazy water consumption, the nurses at my work are suspicious.

To my November '13 ladies who are first-time mommies, let me just tell you this: ENJOY IT! Lol, I'm sure I won't be the first one to give you this cliched advice and every pregnancy is memorable and special and enjoyable in its own way, but the first trimester exhaustion has hit here and the fact that I'm going to be walking around with my eyes barely open for awhile longer while I care for my toddler and preschooler is sinking in. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
My first pregnancy was so nice in that, if I wasn't working, I could just take care of myself. Make myself food I wanted and sleep or rest when I wanted. Yeah, I was just so sleepy this afternoon, I couldn't resist laying down for an hour and now I am paying for it because my 2-year-old made a HUGE mess of the entire house, involving packing peanuts and Chex cereal. WHAT THE HELL HAVE I GOT MYSELF INTO?????
Lol, I swear, I'm not throwing a pity party for myself, just wanted to give you girls a heads up if you're planning on having more babies after this one, lol.

I've been having short, stabbing pains mainly on my left side a little higher than my hips, like where O pain would be. Apparently, it sounds like round ligament pain, but I'm only 5 weeks?! Is it possible for it start that early? It's usually when I move too fast like when I went to get out of bed this morning or when I stood up real fast at work today.
Being that I've had a previous m/c, I'm super nervous. Someone reassure me that its not ectopic or anything to worry about.
honeydew / 7909 posts
@lilteacherbee: I think ectopic is really bad constant pain. Every twinge I feel has me worried. I was fine yesterday but now I'm starting to worry. I don't wanna feel that heartbreak again.
blogger / clementine / 985 posts
@lilteacherbee: I had similar pains early on and now they're back again as of today, left side only. I'm 6 weeks today. I've heard from a few people that the one-sided cramping is pretty normal and it might be a corpus luteum cyst (I have no idea if I spelled that right, haha) which is what sustains the baby pre-placenta. But yeah, like @Ash said I think ectopic pain would be a lot more painful than twinges (at least that's what I'm banking on).
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
@Ash: @MrsDragon: yeah that's what I'm thinking too. My shoulder (well mostly my neck) has been sore for the past few days but I think it's just tension combined with the crazy hormones.
My husband told me I'm no longer allowed to google ANYTHING haha. Next Thursday can't get here fast enough! I'm ready to see the little bean. We never got a chance at a happy ultrasound last time so I'm really, really hoping everything will be okay.
blogger / clementine / 985 posts
@lilteacherbee: My right arm went fully numb last weekend or the weekend before and I freaked and went to the ER! I think I'm going to be a bit worried until we get an ultrasound (which won't be until closer to 12 weeks, I think).
Crossing my fingers for you!
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
@MrsDragon: haha yeah I totally went to the ER too because of my shoulder. They said unless I was cramping or bleeding, I should be fine ( I'm pretty sure the shoulder pain happens AFTER a ruptured tube....so we would be in a lot of pain prior to anything shoulder related). They did bloodwork and my hcg was at nearly 10,000 and I was exactly 5 weeks so they were happy about that.
@MrsTiz: yep, near Wilmington! Where are you?!
cantaloupe / 6800 posts
@lilteacherbee: Fayetteville! My family has a house in Holden Beach, so that isn't too far from you!
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
@MrsTiz: my grandma and most of her family live near Fayetteville. And I actually grew up on Oak Island so def not too far from Holden Beach!
blogger / clementine / 985 posts
@lilteacherbee: Yeah, they wouldn't even connect the cramping and arm pain for me. The triage nurse said "We aren't even gonna look at that today" and they just tried to figure out why my arm was numb. I felt pretty stupid by that point, haha.
