@MrsDragon: Yeah, I'm pretty sure had I not had a previous m/c they def would have thought I was crazy. The dr was actually understanding about why I was nervous though.

@lilteacherbee I think round ligament pain can start pretty early and definitely happens when you move to fast (at least according to Dr. Google!:) ). I was also super worried about some cramping on one side last week, but it eventually moved to both and now is a mix of everything (one sided, both sides, etc.) and I feel a lot better about it. I had my first mini freak out about the cramps and DH had to calm me down and also told me to stop Googling...

Mine is really picking up today so I guess this conversation is timely! I'm trying hard not to freak about it... Google is not my friend though. Gotta love reading about how people are most often diagnosed with ectopics at 6-7 weeks when here I am at 6 weeks. It's sort of a throbbing/stabbing pain every once in awhile even if I'm sitting still.
One thing I read is that if you're having any bowel problems at all you can feel it in your ovaries. Not sure if that's true!
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
@MrsDragon: well in that case, it makes sense for me haha. I have bowel/intestinal issues (I had a colostomy for 3 months when I was a kid) so I never know what's "normal" with that because I've never been normal.
honeydew / 7909 posts
Okay ladies. I'm a freak. But is it normal for symptoms for come and go? I wasn't nauseous today and my boobs don't feel as tender. Oh man, it's gonna be a long 9 months.
pomegranate / 3580 posts
@ash So glad you said that! Mine have been doing the same! So far my only major symptom has been cramping and yesterday it kinda went away and I was wishing for some nausea or something just to know everything was ok.! I think it's pretty normal for stuff to come in waves.
honeydew / 7909 posts
@fussygal: you made me feel so much better! I keep telling myself the symptoms are way stronger this time around so that has to be a good thing... and then they freak me out when they sort of disappear. I've been having cramping too... which is new! But after seeing all the symptoms from earlier in the thread, I know it's expected. *breathe, ashley, breathe*

@Ash: Mine come and go! Tender boobs, irritability. Unfortunately the nausea is here to stay.
blogger / clementine / 985 posts
@Ash: Mine are on and off too! Wasn't nauseous for the last two days but today I feel queasy.
pomelo / 5132 posts
@Ash: I'm always nauseous, really, but my boob pain comes and goes.
These zits, however, are NOT going away.
honeydew / 7909 posts
@MrsTiz: @MrsDragon: I didn't have nausea before miscarrying so now that I've had it (for over a week now) I want it to stay!!
pomelo / 5132 posts
@Ash: my mom, who miscarried twice before having me, said having nausea is a good thing! It can mean that you have enough hormones to sustain the baby. I read that from What to Expect too!
pomelo / 5132 posts
@Ash: I know it has to be especially hard for you, but remembering that symptoms don't stay the same throughout the entire pregnancy helps (me, at least). Some days I think I am going to die of nausea, and other days I feel kind of okay. It makes me a little nervous, but I'm trying to go with the flow!

@Mrs. J: I'm gonna drive everyone crazy!! I just need reassurance from my midwife and then I'll be okay!! I think. Thank you!
pomelo / 5132 posts
@Ash: my husband would tell you we're all crazy--women, that is, especially pregnant ones!
pomelo / 5073 posts
@Ash: take deep breaths! Every day that I would think my nausea subsided, the next day it would be back with vengeance. Hang in there!
pear / 1571 posts
@Ash: I've heard the same thing @Mrs. J: said too! If it makes you feel any less crazy, this is my 3rd pregnancy and I've been blessed to never have had a miscarriage, but I worry all the time too! I feel every new little sensation and wonder if it's a good or bad sign. I can't imagine what kind of tizzy I'd be in if I had a history of miscarriage!

This is the third day straight that I've had a headache basically all day. I usually never have headaches. Is this a common pregnancy symptom? I don't remember having headaches with my first pregnancy.
grapefruit / 4800 posts
@Ash: I have bad nausea every other day or once every couple days. Yesterday I didn't have any and I ate sooooooo much. But today it's back so blah, guess it was good I ate a lot when I had the chance.
pear / 1571 posts
@lilteacherbee: Yep, that's a somewhat common symptom. Sometimes it has to do with elevated blood pressure, sometimes it's just the hormones. Are you drinking enough water? I get dehydration headaches super fast during pregnancy.

Who all has seen their doctor yet? If you haven't, when will you? Because of insurance stuff, I have to wait until April, so my first appointment is for April 3rd and feels SOOOOOO far away!

@FarmWifeGina: I just went for the nurses appointment info session where they ask questions about your medical history. I did get blood work done and pee in a cup.
Someone called from the office today and said my pee was negative and asked if I was feeling better. I was like "I wasn't feeling bad does it say I'm sick"(I hadn't complained of nausea or anything like that). The girl just sounded really confused, which made me confused, but after she hung up I was like ohhh, she probably thought she was calling about a UTI.

@FarmWifeGina: http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/nov-13-appointments Here is a thread for appointments for the November moms! There was some discussion that in the past, the "month" groups got to be too busy with just one thread. So for November, we were trying to keep some separate topics to keep things organized. Feel free to start a new topic under this board as needed.

@T.H.O.U.: Lol, yes, Ash just clued me in somewhere. I'm sorry! I've been around HB for a little while now, but hasn't figured out how the monthly birth boards worked. Thanks! *smacks head into wall, "Stupid, stupid, stupid!"* Lol.

Dudes, I still don't have crazy symptoms...at all. Like, my boobs have never hurt at all (prior to BFP or anytime after), sometimes I can convince myself that my nipples are sore... There's really been no nausea aside from a quick wave here or there (like, seriously nothing longer than a few minutes)... Again, aside from turning into one giant zit, things are...fine... Not sure if that's good or bad!

@ms.janedoe: consider yourself lucky! I told DH that if this is what pregnancy is like, he's only getting one kid from me haha
pear / 1571 posts
Ok, so let's talk about really gross symptoms. Please tell me I'm not the only one already noticing a difference in the amount and consistency of discharge! O.M.G. I remember this goopy, loose-down-there feeling from the end of pregnancy, but not from the very beginning! Oh, and let's not even talk about the gas. Good grief. It's not like it's loud and stinky, but it's always there.
honeydew / 7909 posts
Woooooow! Getting shooting pains in my groin down my left leg... anyone else? Dr Google says it's normal. Loss of appetite is very present today.
blogger / pomegranate / 3044 posts
@farmwifegina tmi but I totally feel you on the gas. I feel so gross!
Does anyone else feel like crap almost exclusively in the evenings? I'm glad in a way because at least I can get through the work day but for the past week or so I have just been totally exhausted and nauseous after putting DS to bed. Yuck.
Another weird thing which I got all the time last pregnancy and have started back again are suuuuuuuper painful toe cramps! It sounds stupid but hurts so bad. It happened yesterday and I had to sit on the floor and wait it out while letting DS play with my phone, and today in the grocery store and I had to suck it up and limp around.
No boob pain this time (or last time) and no throwing up (yet)... Hope I can keep that up! Keep on trucking ladies, we can make it

@FarmWifeGina: @beaker: the gas..omg. It's awful!
This is going to be a loonng 7 months!
pomegranate / 3580 posts
@beaker That toe thing is super random! My outer right thigh gets tingly and *almost* falls asleep sometimes, usually while I'm sleeping. Very strange.
blogger / clementine / 985 posts
@beaker: I usually feel worst at night too!
I dry heaved this morning. Desperately hoping I can avoid throwing up.

I was nauseous the first few days, but now I'm just generally not hungry or interested in food. The last few days I've been eating about half of what I normally would. Oh, and I'm also having some reflux :-S. It's funny, I hate having nausea and cramps, but when I don't have them I worry the baby's not progressing.

@farmwifegina Absolutely. I go to the washroom and it looks like I've already thrown TP in there.
