@anbanan15: Yay for head down!! Stay, baby, stay!!
I have been having bh like CRAZY!!! You can have some of mine... hahahaha!

@lilteacherbee: Awe, what a sweet surprise! Enjoy your shower!

@yin: Congratulations!! What a beautiful baby boy!

@NeekieRose: Oh my goodness, she's gorgeous!! Congratulations again!

@sweetooth: Yay for a new bra and jacket! Comfort is very important these last few weeks. As for the building, I'll believe it when it happens. Dh is so busy with everything else!

@ShootingStar: I was thinking of you! Glad nothing serious came from today's appointment and that they're keeping a close eye on everything.

@ms.janedoe: If I were you, I'd be fuh-reaking out!! I'm sure we won't hear a lot from you for a little while so good luck with everything - we'll all be thinking about you!! Hope you're able to get some rest tonight!

@DigAPony: I'm sure you are super anxious!! Come on, baby!

@lilteacherbee: Have you tried using a humidifier in your room when you sleep? I've found it's been helping me handle all of the mouth breathing and waking up with a dry mouth and stuffy nose. Good luck at your OB appointment tomorrow!!

@ShootingStar: Yay for being done with work! Boo for more waiting. It's probably best for baby to have that time inside though - even though you are SO ready to be at the end with him in your arms. You're almost there! Need help thinking of things to do while you stay off of your feet?

@ms.janedoe: GOOD LUCK! I'm so living off of your moment, thinking about how crazy it must feel to know that by this time tomorrow your baby will be HERE! I bet tonight will be like the night before Christmas. Try hard to catch some Zzzz's! Safe travels in the morning!

@DigAPony: Good luck with "getting in the mood" to help move things along! Maybe some music, and some mood lighting will help I hope you meet your little one in no time!

@ShootingStar: Oh man, things are getting complicated for you during these last few weeks I hear you about the big baby. I'll be interested to see how big ours actually are. I'm glad everything was semi-okay today. Keep getting some rest! I'll be thinking about you

I little bit ago I got a text from my neighbor stating that my mom's car was in our driveway so that must mean I'm having the baby! Haha nope, just means that mom thinks I need to get the nursery together and came to supervise that I do it. We spent several hours and it's vastly improved, but still some odds and ends to go!

I was given the option yesterday to be induced anytime after 39 weeks since my midwife does not think I will go into labor on my own and honestly neither do I...so she isn't going to make me wait until 41 weeks if I don't want to. After talking it over with DH I think we are going to schedule for an induction on my due date if we can...It was sort of funny when I asked him how he felt about me having another induction and he said he sort of always had the feeling I would need one too.

@ms.janedoe: Hope you are able to get some rest!! Good luck tomorrow and can't wait to hear all about it and meet your LO!

@Ash: I feel like a FTM in that aspect! I honestly have never had any and even though this is my second rodeo I have no clue what going into labor is like!

@sweetooth: night before Christmas is the perfect way if putting it!

    @yin - Congrats!
    @ neekierose - she's beautiful.

Thanks for all the well wishes ladies - I though I was never going to leave the hospital. After being admitted to the hospital on Thursday morning for low amniotic fluid, three rounds of Cervadil and finally starting the pitocin at 11 PM on Friday night, LO made her debut on Saturday around lunch time. Everyone's doing well and I think we are finally getting the hang of this breastfeeding thing. Here is a picture for you guys.

@ms.janedoe: Good luck, mama! I hope your experience tomorrow is awesome. The morning of my previous c section, we had to leave for the hospital around 6 but I woke up at 3 and couldn't go back to sleep. I did an hour of pilates and a half hour of yoga... trying to make the time go fast. I was high on life, so excited to meet my baby!

@ms.janedoe: today's the day, mama! Good luck!

@anbanan15: Well, good thing is your Dr listens and is all for inducing. I'm scared of how I'll go into labor. Induction? Water breaking? Contractions? Today? Tomorrow? 3 weeks?

@stine_ciro: Oh my, look at that hair! She's gorgeous! Congratulations!

Oh, and I had a heck of a time in bed this morning. If I lay on my left side, my hip throbs... If I lay on my right, my hand goes numb and then it hurts. Lose lose situation here. Oy! That was fun.

@Ash: Aww it will be okay! do you know how far they will let you go before talking induction or stripping membranes etc?

I took an induction hard with DS and was really upset at my body for not doing it's thing. This time around I'm more nervous about going into labor or my water breaking on it's own etc. Now I would just like the baby out safely and don't really care about the details of how that's going to happen. My doctors office doesn't like you to go past 41 weeks anyway, but my midwife is on vacation next week so I will be seeing my regular OB (he delivered DS because my midwife was ahem on vacation) and I will be interested to hear what he also thinks.

@anbanan15: I'm pretty sure it's 41 weeks... I'm such a planner and I'm scared of the unknown. I like your way of thinking. when are you due again?
Oh and p.s. my diaper stash is "complete"! I ordered some freetimes for a heck of a deal. Now dh is hoping we like cding.

Thanks, everyone! Just...sitting right now. Got here at 6:30 like we were supposed to and so far I've accomplished realizing my pants were on backwards, tooootally failing to pee in a cup (though I peed all over my hand), and now...waiting!

@Ash: The day before you I believe! 11/22 Yay! did you get them from the Cotton Babies sale? I have a few types of AIO's but none from BG. You'll have to let me know how you like them. Haha my DH was the same way. At one point he complained about cloth, but now he can't wait until we go back!

@ms.janedoe: Awe! It's baby day, who gives a crap if you missed the cup! I'm so excited for you!

@anbanan15: yes I did! I bought 4 and got 3 free - paid $79. I have 6 other freetimes and they take a heck of a long time to dry but I like the aio feature. Dh and I stuffed the 4.0s and I keep thinking "this kind of sucks" but I think we'll like them both for different reasons. I'll let you know though! I think dh will be fine... He's never changed a diaper so he doesn't know any better. Hahah!

On today's agenda: chiro appt and finishing buying stuff to pack my bags.

@farmwifegina: where are you? How did your crazy weekend go?

@Ash: oh great deal! Stuffing pockets can be sort of relaxing sometimes. That's so cute you DH helped!

I was also wondering why you have been so quite @farmwifegina:!

    honeydew / 7909 posts

@anbanan15: Hahaha, don't get too excited - I doubt he'll ever help again! We were putting the diapers away while we got stuff together in the nursery and he stuffed with me.

    @stine_ciro: So adorable!

@Ash: I'm the same way about planning. I feel a tiny bit better since I have an induction date, but being told yesterday to be prepared every time I come to the hospital makes me pretty anxious. I'm glad you got all your diapers! I've been looking at mine and randomly panicking that we're going to hate it, lol.

@ms.janedoe: Good luck today! And every time I'm at L&D for NSTs I pee on my hand - something about their toilet and the giant cups they give you.

So today I'm on 24 hour bed rest. As in, lay down at all times except bathroom breaks and meals. DH is home with me and going to make sure I don't have to leave bed :). In a way it's actually kind of nice. I'm laying on the bed on my computer, and he's across the room at the desk doing some work. I bought a couple new books for my kindle, and I added some shows to my netflix queue. And of course I'll be heavily relying on HB today to keep me amused!

    @mrs.janedoe. Good luck today!
@shootingstar. Enjoy the bed rest. I blew through my books when I was stuck in bed at the hospital, so get more than you think you'll need.

I want this baby to come! At least tomorrow we get out at 12:15 ( I am excused from Parent Teacher Conferences, thank God), and Friday and Monday are no school days. This baby needs to come soooooon!

@ms.janedoe: Ahhhh I hope you're in surgery by now!!!

@Mrs. J: Do you have a last day or are you just working until you have the baby? My last day is Friday and I swear my kids are being crazy animals! I also need to finish doing assessments before I leave. Each assessment has 3 parts (which take about 10 minutes per kid) and I've gotta do all 18 kids. Thank God, I'm almost finished. Clearly, 4/5 year olds can't read the assessments themselves, so I have to do each kid separately. AHHH! At least it gives me a break from having all of them at once! I mean, I'm going to miss them, but my patience....is. almost. gone.

@ShootingStar: Seems like you'll have a pretty nice day I can imagine that bed rest would not be fun after awhile, but I'm sure it's a nice break too. I know I'd go stir crazy at some point. Is this like a rest of the pregnancy thing?

@lilteacherbee: Yuck!!! I don't envy you! My stressor this week was dealing with 3 cases of plagiarism.
I don't have an official last day yet, but I'm thinking I will tell them over the long weekend that I am done for next week. My dept. chair said wait after Monday's day off so that they can't screw me on pay, which makes sense.

@ms.janedoe: Ugh, you poor thing :(. I would be spitting nails by now.

@lilteacherbee: I was told just 24 hours of having to lay down the majority of the time. After that I just need to take it easy, lie down when possible, and not leave the house except for dr. appointments. For today the complete bed rest isn't so bad. But I don't know how several days of this would go! And I am a little worried because my BP is AWESOME while I stay lying down. But whenever I sit for long periods of time, it gets pretty high. And forget about walking around. I feel like I ran a marathon walking from the reception area to the bathroom of my OB yesterday. If the only way to control my BP is to spend 2 weeks laying down, they're going to need to induce me a lot sooner!

@stine_ciro: Congratulations! She is so sweet! Glad to hear you are doing well.

@Ash: I had a heck of a time this morning in bed too. I woke up with pains that felt like super sharp gas pains so I made my way to the bathroom trying to reassure my husband that it's just gas. Then I proceeded to moan and groan in the bathroom with no results and trying to intermittently reassure my husband that I was ok. Good times. I feel like this the beginning of nutty times.

@ms.janedoe: I peed all over my hand this AM at my appointment too Solidarity! Also - what's with all of the waiting! I hope there are some good magazines in the waiting room...thinking good thoughts for you!

@ShootingStar: I think I would feel anxious too if I was told to be ready every time I came to the hospital. Take good care of yourself!

    - - - - - - -
I had my almost 37 week appointment this AM. I had my regular OB, and I was reminded why I'm not a fan of hers. She so abrupt - the swap and cervical check were like, "um, HELLO!" Then she was like, "Looks like you have an upcoming ultrasound" And I told her no, I had one two weeks ago and then insurance wouldn't cover the scheduled one for last week. So I'm set. Then she thought the baby's heartbeat was low so she had me go for a non-stress test (which was actually a little stressful since I had no clue what was going on) and she also checked the box for another ultrasound. My whole morning was eaten up. So you know what I did to make up for it? I had tacos and chips and queso from California Tortilla for lunch. mmmmmm!

Baby's heartbeat is a little irregular, and I was told again his head is MASSIVE. Thank you. Can I just skip my weekly appointments and see you on Thanksgiving? That would be my preference at this point. Instead of the weekly rollercoaster.

@sweetooth: I'm sorry you had such an awful appointment/morning. Is there another OB you can see for the remainder of your pregnancy?
