I totally feel like I got run over by a truck, especially today! Day before I had a great day, so I definitely think every good day is to be valued even more lately for me, today was awful!
I have to do some baby laundry this weekend, and am going to do a photoshoot of the nursery the best I can, and I may head to our wedding venue (pumpkin patch!!) with my sister this weekend and take some fun pumpkin and bump pics (well...try!) if not this weekend, next when DH is home and we can be in pics together....which hardly ever happens, lol.

The feeling of being hit by a bus registers with me too! These long work days are getting to me I think! I'm just exhausted and achy, and not sleeping wellI can tell I'm gettnig extremely antsy too, good thing Friday is my last day (and baby is here hopefully Monday!)
I will keep you all informed on Monday, I'll have my iPad with me and will tell you about my quick labor (HAHA wishful thinking much!)

@Running Elley: @Beebug: I'm with you guys on having "off days" Today I felt good but sometimes I'll go all week feeling like "SUPER PREGNANT WOMAN!" and then a day will hit where I am in bed all day and I only get up to waddle to the bathroom.
@Beebug: a DH photoshoot in a pumpkin patch sounds incredible. Please do it!
Today I went to the gym for my new, longer time of 1h and 45m. It felt awesome. I had previously only done about 80min. I bounced on the ball, walked the treadmill, did uphill...did the bike for a total of 5minutes then, got scared and jumped off. It felt a little tooo rough on my pelvic bones. Now, if I could muster up the energy to jump into the shower. I am hot and just sitting here with a biiiiiiiig cup of ice water and little plate of pineapple:)

@TurtleDoves: lol. I love the pumpkin patch, it's 2 mins from our house, it was unreal to have our wedding there (though....because they don't do weddings, it was so.much.work (but worth it!!)) and now it's going to be a fun place to go each October (we go without kids now, lol) with our family in years to come and tell them that it's where we got married!
coconut / 8475 posts
@Beebug: that is so special! You have wedding pictures there, now you'll have pregnancy pictures there...and soon you'll have family photos there! :'( I don't know if it's the preggo hormones or what but i'm tearing up just thinking about it; it's so dang cute!
pomegranate / 3917 posts
@TurtleDoves: awww Ok. Definitely have to do it. I did say how cool would it be to go there in the next bit (still preggo!) and do some fun pumpkin and bump pics (and with DH I guess!) and then later this month if we got a good weather day and off hours so it wasn't open to public to take baby there and do a new family photo in the pumpkin patch....eee, we'll see!!!

@Beebug: @jessiejo17: @TurtleDoves: Well at least I'm not the only one! I don't wish this level of discomfort on anyone but at least I'm not alone lol.
@TurtleDoves: Good for you!!! I walked for an hour and half yesterday and bounced on the ball. After I was done I really felt like I got hit by a truck! I don't know if I have the energy to do it again today!
@Beebug: Awwwwwwwwww pumpkin patch pictures will be adorable

@Running Elley: yepp, I was all wired at the gym and now...I'm exhausted. But, after a cool shower and some dinner I think i'll be back in business. I have to watch The Voice tonight, duhhhh:)

I've had the laziest day today. I usually don't allow myself a lazy day since I'm a SAHM but today I did nothing but my daily load of laundry and I washed all the bed spreads because I'm OCD like that but besides that I have sat all day and it's felt great! Tomorrow I plan to do some shopping and maybe walking?
pomegranate / 3917 posts
@TurtleDoves: I nearly choked reading "the gym" part of your post.
omg I don't even know what that is like anymore!! I won't lie, I am reallllly looking forward to being skinny, athletic me again someday post-preggo, and going to the gym again!!
bananas / 9357 posts
@Beebug: Awww the pumpkin patch photos sound so cute! Fall is my fav time of year. Definitely have to share on the FB group!
@TurtleDoves: & @Running Elley: Where are you ladies getting the energy to walk for and hour or more?! I get home from work, eat dinner, veg a little, shower & go to bed, rinse and repeat M-F. Ugh.
@Mrs.B: I love lazy days. Enjoy it before your LO comes.
squash / 13764 posts
@Running Elley: I am feeling mostly okay (much better today, I think my cold is almost gone!) and am generally pleasantly surprised with how much energy I still have. But I definitely have days where I just want to veg out on the couch and watch bad tv
@Beebug: I am SO looking forward to feeling athletic again! I"m still going to the gym but I miss running so much (never thought I would say that, lol).
squash / 13764 posts
@mrskc: if I were still working full time, that would 100% be my schedule as well! The only reason I can get anything done is because I"m home most days.

I definitely miss running, already want to sign up for a race next Spring, haha.....I'm awful, but miss running so badly!!
coconut / 8681 posts
@mrskc: The only thing that gets me to do it is thinking that it's helping progress!! And lately I've been walking reallyyyyyyyyyyy slow. I hope that I can walk more once I'm done with work though!
@hilsy85: Thank goodness that cold is gone!!!!
@Beebug: I almost signed up for a race in April...... but I didn't lol. I came SO close though!
pomegranate / 3917 posts
@Running Elley: We should pick one in same time range.....then be motivated together to get running again!!! What distance do you do when you race? I love 10kms, but have done 5's and 8's, so much as I love running I have no desire to ever do a half or full though!
coconut / 8681 posts
@Beebug: We totally should!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm completely on board with that plan 10k is probably my favorite distance but I really like 5's too. I've done a few halfs but that will probably take some more time to get back into! I think a race next spring (especially if we start out with a 5k or something) would be totally doable!

just popping in to say hi and that i'm jealous of your board! I think it's because there are so few of us, but the september board is soooo slow most of the time!
I very well might end up an October mama if this chick doesn't show up soon! enjoy your last few weeks..they go SO FAST, even if they don't feel like they will! it's crazzyyy!!
coconut / 8681 posts
@sorrycharlie: As much as I'd love for you to be an October mama with us I'm hoping that your little girl shows up SOON!!!!!!!!!!
bananas / 9357 posts
@sorrycharlie: Awww, you can join us here in the October boards. I'd love for you to be an Oct mama with us, but I hope your little girl doesn't leave you waiting too much longer.
coconut / 8475 posts
@sorrycharlie: you can hang here! Even though I hope you're not an October mama! I hope you're a sept.26th mama!
squash / 13764 posts
@sorrycharlie: aww sorry your little girl is keeping you waiting!! I hope she comes out soon; is there a full moon coming up?? Fingers crossed for you, but of course you can hang here
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
@Running Elley: @mrskc: @TurtleDoves: @hilsy85: aww thanks guys! there IS a full moon on saturday!! who's due early october?! maybe you'll go early! I have a feeling she'll be here by the weekend..might be wishful thinking though. I lost my plug and had some bloody show tonight..YUCK..but a sign! woohoo!
pomegranate / 3917 posts
@sorrycharlie: I think you should officially join the October Mama's group....and *maybe* that will get her movin' sooner for you by way of "jinxing" things joining the Oct group

Well ladies, sorry for the late check in! No baby! I made a little progress, but not much. Full 3 cm dilated, almost 70% effaced, and still at a -1 station. The internal didn't hurt as much this time and I haven't had any bleeding like last time. My doctor also is going to have her scheduler call me later this week to schedule an induction for 10/10 or 10/11. So there is a definite end in sight!!!
After this weekend I will be 39 weeks, I'm going to start employing everyone's labor inducers!
@SorryCharlie - Hope your labor starts soon! And just join our October group!!!
Also, I have no idea how you ladies are going to the gym for hours at a time!!! Kudos to you!!! All I can do is work, come home eat dinner, prop my feet up and then go to bed!
pomegranate / 3917 posts
@Running Elley: I am totally game!! I vote 10k (little ambitious much?) maybe like late April/early May? I forget where you are geographically.....I usually don't race sooner than that with weather variability here this time of year....Ohhhh Canada
Just looked for races, May 4th there is a 10k about an hour from me I could do. It's a big race, but doable. There is also a 5k with it if we want to just take it easy with 5! Not a whole lot else posted yet.
@CarrieLouWho: Wooo 3cm!!! And induction date, the beginning of it all is so close!!
@hilsy85: Full moon Saturday
Bedtime!! I didn't have any spotting or anything after my appt yesterday, she said I might see some....anyone else not see any real change (aside from being super sore today)?
coconut / 8475 posts
@Beebug: I didn't have any spotting either but yes I was sore! But next week I'm getting a sweep done so I wouldn't be surprised if I saw some spotting

I'm up for doing a 10K! We have a local one here that is huge and is usually late March/Early April. They even have training teams... I've done it before but have skipped the last few years. I had kind of planned on doing it this year to whip me back into shape. By no means am I a runner, but I've forced myself into to hang out with friends socially :o)
squash / 13764 posts
Can I jump on the 10k bandwagon?? I did one about 3 years ago and I've been itching to do another one! I just looked and there's one by me on April 7th! There are also some 4 mile races. I feel like if I knew you guys were doing them too, it would motivate me
bananas / 9357 posts
You guys are motivating me to get back into running. I got into it for a little bit before I started working full time, and really enjoyed it. I'd probably do a 5k b/c I'm not a runner by any means. April seems like a good time.
36 weeks today! Our AC broke. They're forecasting 100s for the weekend too! I really hope we can get someone out to fix it soon or else this 9 month preggo is going to be miserable.
coconut / 8681 posts
@Beebug: I found a 10k in my area in late April! Let's do it
@Everyone: I'm so excited about racing with everyone! So happy that a bunch of us will be motivating each other!
@CarrieLouWho: YAY for making progress and for having an end date. I think that makes all the difference!
@mrskc: UGH. Ours was broken in late July and it was absolutely miserable. I hope that yours gets fixed soon! At least it's supposed to cool down next week. It's so sad that I think that temps in the 80s constitute a "cool down" btw..
pomegranate / 3917 posts
@Running Elley: YAY! Let's definitely do it!!
@CarrieLouWho: and @hilsy85: and @mrskc: This is awesome!! I am so excited for all of us!
My issue will be staying injury free.....someone likes to go a little too hard when easing back into things
coconut / 8681 posts
@Beebug: So do I..... I'm not big on the making gradual progress thing. I'm already itching to take our BOB out for a run haha.
pomegranate / 3917 posts
It's probably a good thing our BOB is in the US still, lol.
Otherwise me and the dog would definitely be out getting acquainted with it!! What colour did you get?
I am definitely going to be in the pool first, my back issues and ankle injury, I would be nuts to think I can run right away (so much as I will want to try!!) so will have to swim, get building some strength up and then eventually get into a run.....oh it will feel SO good, ha! Must stop thinking about it now, lol.
Drove DH to work today, he does an hour + commute into the city and it's very good every so often to drive him in and remind myself what he does everyday on the road. Bah!! A colleague is taking him to the airport after work, this baby is officially unwelcome until Monday when he's back!

@Beebug: We got plum! Ours came in this past Monday and is sitting in the corner of our living room...just begging for me to pay attention to it lol. It's so beautiful!
@TurtleDoves: Haha yeah... it definitely doesn't just apply to exercise. I'm not a patient person
pomegranate / 3917 posts
I'm so dramatic, all weepy after just speaking with DH! He is just about to board plane. I tried really hard not to cry saying goodbye to him today, and somehow managed not to cry!!
@Running Elley: I loved Plum! My SIL got plum! We got black, borrring!
pomegranate / 3917 posts
I don't think I'm going to go to bf seminar tonight.....I'm tired, and frankly not feeling my usual ok-to-be-independant self and go alone. I feel like when explaining why I am alone I will cry, haha....and no one wants to deal with that mess. I think I just need a couch night, which is sort of pathetic for someone who isn't working right now, but I think I just need to stay home tonight....
squash / 13764 posts
@Beebug: aw do something to pamper yourself tonight! Watch a chick flick, eat some ice cream, give yourself a facial...anything to relax and unwind
