How far along: 10 weeks
Current symptoms: Lots of fatigue, food aversions but increased hunger, and headaches.
Maternity clothes: Not yet. My normal clothing is still comfortable.
Missing anything from pre pregnancy: Wine and having normal energy levels.
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender.
Biggest worry: Finding out something is wrong from my NIPT test that I'm taking this week or otherwise miscarrying.
Have you announced?: Nope. After having suffered two back-to-back miscarriages, I don't really know when I will feel comfortable announcing.
Next appointment: Other than the NIPT test this week at the hospital, I don't see my doctor for another 4 weeks.

@waiting4you: I hear you on the worry of not eating enough, especially protein and iron. My morning sickness is much better, but my appetite is still very small. I am going to ask my doctor about it at my 12w appointment tomorrow.

How far along: 10 weeks 5 days
Current symptoms: exhausted today, Nasuea all day yesterday
Maternity clothes: nope. I am making my clothes work until my next appointment.
Missing anything from pre pregnancy: cooking! I love to cook but this morning sickness and exhaustion has taken all the fun out of it for me.
Looking forward to: hearing baby's heartbeat at my next appointment.
Biggest worry: miscarriage for sure. I don't think I will be comfortable until I can feel the baby move all the time.
Have you announced?: not on social media but some family and friends know.
Next appointment: April 29th

What the heck!? How did I totally forget about this board?? Lol. I don't know where my head has been at. I tried to kind of catch up, but I'll try and follow along better now.
How far along: 14+1
Current symptoms: Morning sickness just won't go away. I was hoping I would leave that in the first trimester.
Maternity clothes: Been in them since 8 weeks. I've really blown up, although I've only gained a pound. My bump is pretty similar to 2nd/3rd time moms, and it's not much bloat anymore. It's pretty solid.
Missing anything from pre pregnancy: Being able to workout. It had been awhile, but as I watch my bump expand, it has me very excited to get working out post-baby. Not allowed to right now.
Looking forward to: My anatomy scan. Hopefully we'll book the appointment when I'm at the doctor on Thursday.
Biggest worry: Now that I'm in my second trimester and my fear of loss is going away, money worries are creeping up. No friends/family means we'll be paying for everything ourselves. And I just started working again after being off for 8 weeks. We're feeling the strain.
Have you announced?: Yes, we announced when we were 11 weeks. We'd had enough ultrasounds at that point that we felt comfortable, inspite of our losses.
Next appointment: Thursday!

Guys, I'm working from home this afternoon and have the TV on in the background. That movie "Blended" with Adam Sandler is on, and I literally just started bawling at the last scene. Really?! #pregnant
I mean, it's a cute movie and all, but...wow. Just wow.

How far along: 13 weeks + 3 days
Current symptoms: Bloated and back is constantly aching
Maternity clothes: Nope, normal clothes. I'm a bigger girl to start with, it'll be a while until my bump is anything more than my regular old belly.
Missing anything from pre pregnancy: HOT, steaming baths.
Looking forward to: NIPT results and finding out gender.
Biggest worry: I'm absolutely flipping petrified of getting bad news from the NIPT bloods. We should hear this week and I've gone over every possible situation inn my head, I'm just so scared. So scared.
Have you announced?: Blog/social media yes - immediate family yes - overall facebook/world - not yet.
Next appointment: This Friday (I'll be 13 + 6) with OB.

Also... look at all those boys! I reckon I'll be boy too, all going well.

@jaguar: good luck with your NIPT results this week. I'm waiting on mine too. I'm mostly worried about getting "inconclusive" results because I did it too early (10w). Best wishes for you!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@delight: *hugs* I got told to wait until 12+ weeks because I'm a bit bigger, and apparently if you're overweight, it can be harder to get enough of a sample? So I'm a bit nervous about that too! When should you hear? x
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@delight: ughhhh yes I'm worried about this too. I waited a few extra days as a buffer but still worried!

@Paddington10: congrats on a healthy boy!! I have 2 boys and love it

@jaguar: @winniebee: thanks for letting me hang out here and discuss NIPT. I don't think anyone else in my board has done it yet! I did mine Thursday so hope to get the results this Thursday. Last time I did the NIPT I got bad results and keep telling myself that lighting won't strike twice. I'll keep stalking October for both of your results. I hope we all get great news this week!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@delight: I agree that it's got to be so unlikely for you to get bad news again this time. Stalking you right back!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@delight: You're welcome anytime. x I am scared because of our T21 history.. I know we have no genetic markers ourselves, but if lightning struck once - and then the additional early miscarriages with no cause detected - I'm just scared.

@delight: @winniebee: @jaguar: I hope you ladies get your beautiful/healthy NIPT results quickly!
@KrzyRiver: Yay, Welcome!!!!!
@mfa_lady: Jealous of your no bloat belly... lol
Ugh I hear you on the water works, there is a Publix commercial and I ball every time...... also I can't listen to the Tim McGraw song "Humble and Kind"

Maternity clothes: Not yet, but it is coming.....
Missing anything from pre pregnancy: Wine and staying asleep at night
Looking forward to: Finding out gender May 6th

Have you announced?: Yep

@mfa_lady: I feel huge this time around and the comments are coming at work already, so glad I already announced or I would definitely be telling people now!!!!

I've discovered part of the problem.... I'm not getting email notifications. Grrrr!
@thepicklemonster: Oh man, I would kill for a glass of wine. I stole a sip at a bridal shower last weekend. It was so good. Lol
@jaguar: FX for good NIPT results! I'm thinking mine will be a boy too. Lol
@FaithFertility: @mfa_lady: I cry at everything! Today I started bawling when that song Like I'm Gunna Lose You came on cause I started thinking about losing my husband.

@FaithFertility: I'm huge too. I've started lying about how far along I am to people who don't know. Lmao!!

@KrzyRiver: I feel you. I was literally SNIFFING my girlfriends' wine at the bachelorette party I went to last weekend. Saddest day. Hahaha.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@mfa_lady: hahaha sniffing the wine, I literally thought about having a swig of DH wine the other night with pizza and spitting it out SO sad

@delight: @winniebee: I did mine at just shy of 10 weeks and all came back with results and no issues. So try not to stress too much about the timing.

@waiting4you: ok that makes me feel better! Thanks!!

How far along: 13 weeks tomorrow
Current symptoms: fatigue... My horrible MS has mellowed a lot in the last week, seems like as long as I don't get too hungry, I'm ok. DH is enjoying the pregnancy rage, which is always directed at other drivers or strangers and not him lol
Maternity clothes: somewhat... My work pants are supremely comfortable and I plan to wear them as long as possible. I'm hoping I can just buy a size up when they don't fit anymore so I can wear that brand/style throughout pregnancy. Jeans are harder because they rub on my belly and it's irritating, but the maternity pants just aren't comfortable yet. Mostly bloat, not much bump.
Missing anything from pre pregnancy: sushi and Bailey's! I'm ok without wine but we used to snuggle up on Friday nights with a fire and a glass of Bailey's and I'm really missing that!!
Looking forward to: a real bump that makes me feel cute and not frumpy! Not another ultrasound until 20 weeks, but we are certainly looking forward to that! Trying not to get too anxious about it lol
Biggest worry: I have a lot of anxiety about labor /birth (I've had a previous spinal headache, so very concerned about epidural... I don't want one, but I want a backup plan too). Appointment on Wednesday to go over a lot of that stuff with the midwife so hopefully we'll deal with all that.
Have you announced?: Yes, put it on Facebook at 12 weeks.
Next appointment: this Wednesday with the midwife!
apricot / 276 posts
@mfa_lady: Lmao! I have already declined all bachelorette invitations from now through October. That's just too cruel to deal with!
@Bernieboo: Lol! God your hubby is getting a kick out of your hormones! My poor man gets the brunt of it. I've been a real bear to live with these last few weeks!
watermelon / 14467 posts
@Bernieboo: You should ask your midwife if gas and air is a pain relief option. They just got it at the hospital I'm planning to deliver at and I am so hoping I get to try it out during my stitches if I need them. But I went med free last time so we will see how I feel then.
cherry / 121 posts
@avivoca: I'm really hoping so!!! I don't know anyone who's gotten it, but we live in Phoenix and I'll be delivering at one of the biggest hospitals in the valley. I'm really hoping it's an option. At this point, I'm most concerned about what they'll do for me if I end up needing a c section. I'm pretty sure I'll be fine with the pain (planning to do hypnobabies) but obviously they have to do something for a c...
@krzyriver: haha yes! I've been annoyed with him a couple times... Mostly he's been so helpful and kind that I can't help but be sweet... but, man, the rage I get towards bad drivers. He thinks it's hilarious to watch me (i'm not a very large or intimidating person) scream profanities at them and then immediately return to normal!!
