Thanks for all the great gender reveal ideas!! We had our scan at 830 am yesterday morning and I just couldn't wait all day to tell so I just texted my parents We are having a BOY! I have a 2 year old girl so this will be a new adventure!

@MrsRcCar: I knew it! Congrats!!
@Alexandra603: great news!

@MrsRcCar: @Alexandra603: Boys galore! Congratulations ladies. xx
Thanks guys, I'm just relieved all looked okay. I was worried about a shortened cervix but I went and dug out Georgia's 19 week scan report and hers was exactly the same as mine at this time.

@jaguar: I was going to say I think anything over 3 is totally normal at this point!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@winniebee: yeah, just wish I wasn't quite soooo close to 3. That said, this was an abdominal measurement. Apparently for accurate cervix measurements they need dildo-cam. Will chat with OB in a few weeks anyway and see what he thinks.
I can't stop looking at the pictures and videos from yesterday though. Sucking on her fingers and her hands around her face ... just so sweet.
Can this mean we actually get to take home a baby in October! Feels like a dream.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@jaguar: ah yes. Cervical measurement needs to be done internally. I had issues with this with my first so am all too familiar.

@MrsRcCar: congrats! Trio's of the same sex are apparently the trend on HB
@Alexandra603: congrats on your :boy:! Lots of fun new stuff to buy.

20 weeks today! Can't believe we're halfway there. Hopefully this little bugger will cooperate at our anatomy scan and we'll know boy or girl by this time tomorrow!

Are BMBs usually pretty evenly split between boys and girls? I wonder if all these boys means that us TG mamas ar more likely to have girls?! (yes, being TG is starting to make me crazy)
grapefruit / 4712 posts
@thepicklemonster: my other months have been pretty either split pretty even or super one gender heavy. Just depends I guess.

Congrats to the newest boy mammas!
@thepicklemonster: haha! I had the same exact thought about the TG babies here!
@KrzyRiver: Good luck for a great and revealing scan tomorrow!
@jaguar: Beautiful baby girl head! Just perfect! I hope your cervix length concerns turn out to be a non-issue. I am having a similar is-this-really-really-gonna-happen thought. It comes up just when I start to get super comfy with things all going so well. Hello, Anxiety!
To distract myself, I've become a little obsessed TG-er. Hey, why not? It's all part of the fun! Here's our baby's scan at almost 19w. Three family members are seeing a boy head here. I'm seeing it, too!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@Amorini: What a perfect profile shot! We thought G was a boy based on her head.... just saying.
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@Amorini: Nah, we found out with her... but everyone was taking bets beforehand and nearly ALL picked boy. (Which is why we were so surprised to be girl!)

17w and finally starting to feel this babe moving around some

@winniebee: That's great! I'm starting to feel movement as well, which is great for this anxious mama!

I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow and this morning sickness can go away anytime. Everyone thinks this one is a boy because I've been sick for so much longer. I won't find out until at least the second week of June.

@Amorini: Sweet face!!!
@MrsRcCar: Cute!
@YouGotMe: sorry you are still sick
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@Shantuck: yes agree! ESP because I felt my second at 15 weeks! Glad you are feeling it too!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
Yay for movement! Still very hit and miss here.. but I can now find baby on the doppler way up high near my belly button, so I'm hoping to feel more in the coming weeks.

We had our anatomy scan today....and it's a boy!!!
@YouGotMe: I'm 20 weeks and I've still got morning sickness too. It's been especially bad the last few days. I'm definitely over it! Funny, everyone thought I was having a girl because I've been so sick. Lol

Wow I can't believe how many boys we have!
I have my 20 week ultrasound on Wednesday and I have to go alone. Has anyone else gone without their partner?
Also I'm on the fence about finding out gender. Anyone make a game day decision about finding out gender ?
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@Boston terrier mom: I had to do my anatomy scan for my second baby alone...it was 1.5 hours away at a specialist and my husband can't just take days off work. It was fine! Good luck

@winniebee: thanks that makes me feel better. I don't want to know gender but husband wants to know. Not sure if I should find out or not.

@Boston terrier mom: i had my mom and friend come with me for DD2s because DH couldn't come.
