@cnidaria: We had a changing pad with a little holder (http://www.landofnod.com/white-changing-table-topper/s506225) that we attached to LO's dresser. When we stopped needing the changing pad, we just unscrewed the changing pad holder and we still use the dresser for LO's clothes. I wouldn't buy a dedicated changing table because you really don't use it for long.

Everything looked good. I've been having a lil cramping, which always seems to correspond to losing pieces of my mp. But everything looked fine. So that's all reassuring.
Hope everyone else's scans are going well

Just got back my AFP test results and everything came back normal. Taking a moment to be extra thankful and appreciate the type of good news that I used to take for granted...

20 week scan today and everything looked good ! The only sucky part was that my husband was not able to come- my 4 year old son, who was not sick a single day this winter, happened to come down with some kind of virus yesterday so he had to stay home with him. This is the hard part when you have no local family nearby!
I'm very relieved this part is over with- since we got the "all clear" I feel like we can finally make the official FB announcement (although anyone that has seen me since February already knows!). I also feel like I can start focusing more on preparing for another baby instead of just the pregnancy. Right now I'm getting pumped for Baby H's first concert on Thursday night. When I was going through IVF I had Tame Impala's "Currents" on constant rotation- it helped me relax during all those stressful weeks of stims. Seems fitting that they happened to be playing here this summer and baby will get to enjoy it with me . I'm going to look pretty ridiculous almost 40 and pregnant in a see of 20-something stoners but who cares haha!

@dookie32: Glad to hear everything is looking good! That's too bad that you had to go alone to the scan but I'm glad it was all good news!

Big sigh of relief. 20 week scan went great this morning and all is well. Still no bump and can't feel any movement, but I don't care now that I know everything is okay. It will all come in time. Just happy to be at this point and VERY relieved and grateful that my lack of physical symptoms didn't mean anything. Starting to get excited now...

@Shantuck: Was the topper worth it? I've been curious whether it helps or if attaching the changing pad to the dresser is enough.

@dookie32: @maysprout: @shantuck: Hooray, congrats! Great news all around.

@TapDancer: The topper keeps the changing pad from moving at all because the topper screws in to the back of the dresser. I never tried using my changing pad without the topper but I would think it would slide around a bit if you didn't have it. There are definitely cheaper ones out there if you google changing topper ($27 one at Walmart, etc.).
P.S. Congrats on the great scan!

@Shantuck: Thanks! Glad you got some good news too with your testing- when is your scan?
pear / 1767 posts
@dookie32: My scan is June 23rd, which is an emotional day for me... it's DS's 4th birthday and the anniversary of miscarriage #1. Hoping it will be a good day and I can focus on DS's birthday afterwards!

Glad everyone's scans went well today Baby kept covering his face with both arms so our face pictures are all kind of silly. He'd put his arms down and as soon as she'd move the wand back to his face he'd put his arms up again.

@FaithFertility: I'm in the exact same position with our "office" that is more like a glorified storage unit! Major clean out underway. We started last weekend, but the big purge will happen this weekend. Daunting, but it will be great once it's done! There's no where to put everything in our tiny house, so it's either trash or Goodwill (or beg my parents for some of their attic space!

21+4 - still breech!
Even though there's still time to turn, if we get to 32+ weeks and she is still in that position, he thinks we might have to talk c-sec, because he's anticipating an earlier labour like with G, and doesn't want to be doing an emergency early morning breech birth with me.
Early days now, but really hoping she flips. Her butt is literally booty dancing on my cervix, arms and legs up near her head. Strange positions, man.
