@jessiejo17: Awww what a fun way to announce the gender! I wish we would've planned something like that, but I just made the appointment Friday, so not much time to plan. I'll probably just call my parents and text my friends. I think I'll bring in some cupcakes to work to announce it to my coworkers. I hope our babies give us good potty shots!

@mrskc: I had a dream about the baby last night, it's all that I think about...especially with finding out this week!
We'll probably take a picture with DH standing behind me with his arms around me and on my belly holding a pair of shoes that correspond with baby's gender to text to friends, post on facebook, etc. For our parents I'm thinking about picking up some pink or blue cookies and delivering them so that we can see their faces. We'll see if I want to follow through with that tomorrow lol.

I am seriously going to be thrilled either way. I'm guessing girl but I'd be so excited if the doctor said boy, I know DH would be through the moon!

@jessiejo17: I'm so glad that your appt is in the morning! When my best friend was pregnant all of the signs pointed to girl for her too and her baby is very very much boy!

@Running Elley: I will be happy either way for sure! Girl would be nice for all the free clothes since I have 4 nieces and a Goddaughter, but givign my dad his first grandson would be so exciting! He is long overdue for a male family member (besides his son-in-laws that is!)

@jessiejo17: We have all girls in our family too, so I think that's why my family is kind of hoping for a boy. I would love to give my parents their first grandson and beat my sister to it. Of course we'll be thrilled if it turns out to be a girl. I'm going to guess boy for you!

@Running Elley: I'm leaving work in 2 hours! less than 3 hours until my appointment! Are you getting more and more excited? I'm starting to feel nervous that they won't be able to tell us what we're having or that they'll be wrong. I'm only 16w5d. I don't know how accurate they are at 16 weeks.

@mrskc: I'm leaving work in 47 minutes!!! Eeeeeeeeee. Then I'll go home, change, pick up DH and head on over. I'm REALLY nervous. My stomach is just going crazy with nerves. At my NT scan I asked the tech when they can get gender and be pretty sure about it and she said that it's obvious by 15 weeks. The only reason that people usually find out gender later than that is because it's just done at the anatomy scan which isn't scheduled until later. I think you should get a definite answer
