Well ladies.............

It's a BOY!!!!

My intuition was right. So excited.... Finding out the way we did was incredible!

@hilsy85: it was so cool/scary/exciting/memorable to see it!

I was so nervous almost before it came up - my heart was pounding - it was such a big build up! We knew it was going up in the first quarter in the first time out - so as soon as the whistle blew we were up, camera ready, arms around each other -- and then we waited.... Seemed like forever! The whistle blew again and the players were walking back out - we were thinking they forgot or maybe they would do it at the second time out, so we started to sit --- then, at the bottom portion of the screen we saw our names, then "it's a ........ Boy!!!"

We stood and yelled (we were the only ones yelling and standing) and cried, and totally forgot to take pics.

It was great!

My sister got to feel baby kick from outside today!!! It's the first time that anyone has been able to feel him and it was AMAZING!

@hellobeeboston: YAY! Congrats on your boy. What an exciting way to find out too. I'm so glad it all worked out for you!!!

@Running Elley: My DH got to feel the baby kick on the outside (talk about a turn around from last week when I wasn't feeling much.) This little girl is definetely making up for it, she's is a fluttering/kicking machine all day long! Hopefully this translates well when she's born though, I like being able to sleep at night since she is sleeping! haha wishful thinking I know

@hellobeeboston: I got kicked this morning so hard that the sheet on the bed moved! But since then it has been flutters ALL DAY, I'm almost ready for her to nap because it is so distracting! haha

Well Ladies... It's a BOY!! We are thrilled everything else looked great too!

@ninja: HAHA yes she will be one spoiled little thing. It's so crazy to me that everyone is having boys over here, IRL all those around me are team pink as wel!

No prob! As we get closer to our due dates it'll be interesting to see if we end up having any Sept babies or Nov babies!

Are you ladies doing newborn shoots? I read a thread on the bump where people had said they were booking them already, which made me nervous! Dh is really against booking anything this early, as he feels it might "jinx" something. I, on the other hand, would feel much better knowing we are able to book the photog that we want! What are you guys thinking?

@CarrieLouWho: Yup, when I emailed some photogs they said they are prepared to move the date of the shoot if the baby comes early/late...they guarantee that you will get a shoot during the first two weeks It seems difficult for sure, considering babies are so unpredictable in terms of due dates!

@CarrieLouWho: Love the name! Probably not doing maternity shots...I generally don't like getting my picture taken.

@hilsy85: That's awesome that they'll be able to do them no matter when! I don't think that we'll do newborn shots, persay. One of our friends has a little photog company on the side and has offered to get us some free shots if we want, so we might take him up on that.

@hilsy85: We’re planning on doing a newborn shoot in the hospital with the photog from our wedding. I don’t want any me in labor pushing baby out shots (ahhhhhh) but we really want her to capture some special moments like DH telling the family in the waiting room that baby is here and announcing his name, first family picture, the little guy with his little band that has our last name on it, first footprint, etc. I already emailed our photographer about it but we need to sit down, talk more about it and actually book. I’ll probably do that after 24 weeks.

@hilsy85: Haha I totally know what you mean I know that I’m not going to be even close to looking my best but I have a feeling that those first few moments are going to go by SO quickly and my husband is going to be way too busy to take pictures. I want to make sure to remember everything, especially with our first! I just emailed my photographer and asked if she’d be up for it. It’s not something that she normally does but she’s excited!
I LOVE the newborn pictures that are taken later, I think that the moms especially are always glowing!
