We announced publicly on FB today. So much fun! I figured if someone due 3 days after me announced last week I shouldn't worry much and given our good OB appointment we decided to go for it.

So I am the worlds biggest klutz and broke my toe tonight. It was incredibly painful - lots of tears which got me in to the ER doc quickly. The doctor wanted to send me for an X-ray which I was wary about so he agreed that the xray results wouldnt change the treatment plan anyway so no X-ray. He gave me morphine for the pain but again I'm wary to even take Tylenol. And this all happens a day before Mexico! Oh well, looks like DH will have to fetch my drinks for me.
Will be out of touch for a week but will be thinking of you all and can't wait to catch up when we are back!

I hope the many mothers who've been through what you're now going through on HB can help you feel better or at least not alone. And thank you. It was great, but I hate celebrating when you're going through such a hard time. -
@runnerd: it didnt come across as rude at all - I would feel the same way and just want things to go back to normal as soon as possible. That being said I want you to know that I have been thinking about you constantly since I read your post and can only imagine how hard of a time this must be. @char54: Sorry about your toe! Pregnancy brain is real! Mexico is a good place to recover though:) I haven't told my students yet, but I have told a few of their parents. I plan on "coming out" this week or next. How did you tell your students and parents? Some I feel very comfortable with and it is exciting to tell, others I feel awkward with.

My appointment was great today! Got to see a healthy, dancing baby! Only issue is I have glucose in my urine so I will be doing an early gestational diabetes test on the 14th. Oh and my due date changed again. When I first did the online calculations it said the 20th, at my first appointment it was changed to the 22nd, and today I was measuring at 11w2d instead of 10w5d, so now the due date is closer to the 18th. I know it's not a big deal and due dates aren't set in stone and I'm glad baby is measuring ahead, not behind, but its still weird. Anyone have this experience? Don't know what date to put on the list when I update. I guess meet in the middle and say the 20th?

So there were 2 new pregnancy announcements on facebook for me today! It was crazy, and not DH is totally bitter that we are farther along then both of them and we still haven't told! Hopefully this Tuesday will bring good news and then we can share!

@marionberry: Totally! I'm going to a girls night tonight and would tell my friends there, if the girl who had just announced today weren't going to be there, I don't want to steal her thunder (it is her second though), so I guess I will just stick to the plan of waiting until next week.

Just told all of our parents! Feeling happy but it sort of weird that it isn't a secret anymore. Will tell the rest of our families and friends in the coming weeks.

Very excited for all of the announcements happening! We are 12 weeks on Wednesday, but the 12 week checkup and ultrasound isn't until the following Monday (so 12w5d) and I want to wait until then to announce to the world on FB. I feel like it's taking foreverrrrr!
