@MrsStormy: I *think* I am beginning to feel something. At least once or twice a day I get like a bubbling sensation for a minute or so that I'm sure I've never had before. It's getting stronger as the week goes on.

@LittleGBee: They have a choice of 5 pumps. I wanted a Medela Pump In Style® Advanced Double Breast Pump which they offer.

@MrsStormy: Yes, I had a couple times last week where I thought it was the baby and this week, nothing.

@MrsStormy: I think I might be feeling the baby but it's hard to say. I feel like a weird sensation I've never felt before (pulling?). I'm ready to feel a full on kick though and for DH to feel something!

@MrsStormy: me! I'm feeling him every day now, several times a day but mostly in the evening. Last night I could.not.sleep and could feel that he was awake, too! He's a rolly poly little guy and it feels like a goldfish is swimming around in there with the occasional popcorn popping sensation. SO cool and I can't wait for DH to feel him

The 18 week bump...I didn't know it was so noticeable until DH took this picture! In my mind I haven't gotten any bigger since Easter but apparantly I'm wrong lol

@char54: Super cute bump! Here's a pic of mine from the other day. It looks really similar to yours.

@char54: @marionberry: you ladies look gorgeous!! Here's my dodge photo- but it shows the bump shape good .... And then a nicer one from the bump thread!

@char54: @mrssquirreld: It's so much fun to see all of our bumps! I can't believe we're finally showing! Has anyone else's boobs grown a ton?! I read a book that said if that happened it meant girl but I have a boy and ever growing breasts, lol.

    nectarine / 2522 posts

@marionberry: mine were already giant to begin with so if they have grown I haven't noticed! Lol

@Mrs squirreld: HAHA. Mine weren't too big to start with. They're already up one cup size.
@mamamagpie: Thank you! You should post a new one too!

@char54: @marionberry: @Mrs squirreld: Hey ladies!! You all look amazing! Lovely to see other bumps coming along nicely! I'll stop being shy soon and post a photo of my own!

@marionberry: Every time I see a photo of you, I'm surprised as you don't look how I imagine you! Even though I've seen a photo of you on the wedding photo's thread, I keep forgetting you're blonde! You know how you just imagine what someone will look like? Ok, maybe I'm just weird!

Oh, also my boobs grew a cup size straight away and haven't really changed since. Except they're a lot less sensitive than the early weeks.

  14. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@illumina: that's so funny! It's true though...I've had many people I picture in my head look nothing like that in real life. My boobs grew right away too but I think they're still slowly growing. I'm loving it but at the same time it's very weird for me.

@Mrs squirreld: @marionberry: Super cute bumps ladies! Crazy we are starting to show so much. It really doesn't seem that long ago that we got our BFPs!

My boobs have grown SO much. I was actually thinking that this morning when I looked down and was braless. I had a breast reduction a few years ago so I'm taking the sign that they're growing and have bumps (Montgomery's tubercles apparently) on them as a good sign that I might be able to breast feed.

@MrsStormy: feeling definite movement now - most often just as I want to go to sleep! I got a good couple of kicks right behind my belly button two nights ago, it's making everything so much more real - there's a little person in my belly!

@marionberry: My bobs were big enough already, then they wet up a cup size in the first tri, I'm hoping they won't get much bigger before the end!

Will Post a pic from before I went out to a wedding yesterday later on when I can get to the computer, annoying we can't post from a phone everyone is looking great!

@evenstar982: i can post pics from my phone! Maybe thats just an iphone thing though?

@Mrs squirreld: strange, I'm looking from my iPhone and I can't see the option?

  19. Mrs squirreld

    nectarine / 2522 posts

@evenstar982: oh? Are u using safari? Is your phone updated? See where mine says add photo? I just tap on that and add from camera roll

@Mrs squirreld: @evenstar982: my iphone is weird - sometimes the button isn't there to add a photo and sometimes it is! It's there now but I swear it wasn't last week, lol

  21. evenstar982

@Mrs squirreld: hmmm update required I think! No option visible here... I would add a screenshot but..

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@evenstar982: Can't wait to see your latest baby bump! I can attach photos from my iphone, so I agree, an update may be required.

@char54: Are you concerned you might have to have a breast reduction again after kids? I'm glad that it looks like you'll be able to breast feed!!

  23. Charm54

    cantaloupe / 6885 posts

@marionberry: I don't think so - everyone I've talked to who got pregnant after the surgery said they went back to normal after birth/weaning. I'm not expecting them to be perky and pretty but hopefully they won't be the ginormous size they were a few years ago!

It is finally spring here - above freezing temps, yahoo! DH and I went for an amazing walk today with our pooch. It really hit me that so soon ill be pushing a stroller on our walks. Crazy!!

  24. marionberry

@char54: That's good to hear! What province of Canada do you live in? We're supposed to finally get spring weather tomorrow.

@marionberry: we are in Nova Scotia (east coast)...so happy the snow is melting!

  26. marionberry

@char54: I bet! I went to Quebec once, but I've never been to Nova Scotia.

  27. Mrs squirreld

    nectarine / 2522 posts

@char54: I keep wanting to take the stroller for a walk now!!! lol just to get the dog used to it.. but that might look a bit funny, I'l wait till closer to DD! Besides its Autumn here and its a bit cold and miserable!

Does anyone else feel like sometimes what they thought were baby kicks maybe weren't? Everytime I feel them I think Yep, definately kicks and then after I'll be like...maybe they weren't. I always doubt myself. Anyways DH & I were laying in bed last night. I had just had a glass of OJ to get bub moving, plus it was the usual time I feel them. For weeks DH has been trying to feel them, I never tell him when I feel anything, BUT last night his hand was were I usually feel them and bub kicked. His eyes instantly met mine and his eyes lit up! "Was that a kick?" Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww He felt it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well he felt, whatever I've been feeling! lol He felt another kick and then that was it. Super exciting! I kept telling him it wasn't hugely strong and he had to be patient! It finally paid off!. How's everyone else going with movement??

  28. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Mrs squirreld: I always doubt what I'm feeling but I keep reminding myself that I've never felt this before and it's not constant so it can't just be something regular. I'm sure I've felt a few kicks but everything is still really light. I haven't tried to purposely wake the baby but that's a good idea to see if movements increase and if DH can feel them.

  29. illumina

    pomelo / 5469 posts

@Mrs squirreld: @marionberry: last week I started feeling the bubble/popcorn type sensations, but only a couple of times per day probably when she really kicked... now I feel all sorts of movement, still bubbly but on and off throughout the day. More so if I'm sat upright or have just had something to eat or drink. I kept second guessing it as well, but now I figure that must be it as it's getting stronger and feels unlike anything I've felt before. I cannot wait until DH gets to feel her!

I've been feeling movement for a couple weeks on and off - but this week it is every day - usually when i am trying to go to sleep (still trying to sleep on my belly... not gonna last much longer)

  31. mrsmoreau

    apricot / 251 posts

ok ladies.... I am officially insane:
This is Lady, our new puppy. She is only 9 weeks old! I thought DH was going to kill me when he got home from work last night!
I told him she would be good practice for us to get back into the sleepless night routine - and if last night was any indication, we will be used to it in no time! haha

  32. illumina

    pomelo / 5469 posts

@mrsmoreau: oh my goodness! She's very very cute! What breed is she, she looks a little mixed? Do you have dogs already? We don't and my DH actually would kill me if I brought one home!

  33. mrsmoreau

    apricot / 251 posts

@illumina: she is a Boxer mix - her mum was a full boxer, not sure what dad is.
We had a Boxer/Pit Bull that recently passed away very suddenly - our kids were devestated (as were we) but we haven't ever raised a dog from puppyhood, so this is a new adventure for us!

  34. MamaMagpie

@mrsmoreau: ohhhh my goodness! She is gorgeous! Perfect way to get used to the sleepless nights, although I hope that goes quickly!

I finally feel like my bump has grown! On Saturday I had what I could only describe as growing pains -- cramping that went from mild to severe sharp pains (called the doc and he said not to worry, take Tylenol and rest) and then the next day, I swear my bump had doubled in size! Baby Boy had a growth spurt, I guess

  36. MamaMagpie

Hahaha I just realized my Frenchie was in the pic! That's Odie, one of my fur babies

@MamaMagpie: cute bump! and I was just trying to work out whether that was a dog or a table (based on the legs) when I read your post below!!

Holy hell, guys. I officially call Baby Brain. I am 18+5, not 17+5! WTH is wrong with me?!?! Ahhhhahahaha I guess baby brain is a real thing!!! So embarrassing.

    @mrsmoreau: @illumina: thank you!

  40. Charm54

    cantaloupe / 6885 posts

@mrsmoreau: ADORABLE!!! I love puppies and get teary thinking of my dog as a big brother (but then again, everything makes me teary these days!!)

@Mrs squirreld: I second guess my possible baby movements too. I haven't felt that feeling before so I feel like it must be it, but sometimes it seems so low that I don't think it can be. I am excited for when it's definite, can't miss it kicks!

@MamaMagpie: What a cute bump!!! Your baby boy is growing

I have my last prenatal course tonight for a little bit. So far we've had breastfeeding, relaxation exercises, fetal development, and nutrition. Tonight is all about maternity leave and getting the govt benefits. We have a month off until our big full day labor and delivery course. Poor DH is getting a little weary thinking about it already

Has anyone else taken courses yet? Did you find them helpful? The only helpful one so far has been the breastfeeding one. Tonight will probably be useful too as government policies make my head spin.
