Ahh! Thought youade this AS a labor announcement! It's true- a lot of us could go any day now! The calls have started coming in already. "Uh hey just checking in..."

Stalking too! I wonder if any of the babies will be born on my sons birthday. Happy impending birth everyone!

@knittylady: HAHAHA no I'm going to be pregnant forever. This baby will protest a csection, I'm sure. She is so stubborn!!

I want my baby to still be born in September even though I want him early, but we are soooo close!

@Boogs: same! Is it lame that I'm hoping for September for the birthstone? No joke!
nectarine / 2932 posts
@Boogs: @knittylady: lol, same for me!! I'm over waiting but want him to wait until at least September 1st!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: @knittylady: totally thought you started this thread for the same reason!
I can't believe it's September next week...I am ready to be done, but I need her to stay put until after the 8th!

As a sapphire e-ring girl, yes I want that September birthstone!!
But if he came in August I would just make sure I got a luxuriously obnoxious peridot ring for my right hand.
One more week of work and then I'm off so I want him to stay in there so I can leave on Friday with my last paycheck but ohhhhh I so don't want to go to work!!!

How exciting! I know of someone that just gave birth yesterday but also had sept due date. I guess the baby wanted out!

I'm not due until the end of September, so I still have a lot of waiting to do but I will be following this thread closely! Hopefully baby will make it out in September -- we only have a few days of cushion, but waiting into October would be hard

So quick question... Might be TMI
I just woke up and my discharge has changed. It is very thin, like water, and it isn't gushing out or anything but a lot is coming out, not trickling down either. I didn't wake up in a puddle or anything like that. Did my water break??
coconut / 8498 posts
@mamalolo: When my water broke it felt like I was peeing. It was very much like, well, water. There's a LOT of discharge and nasty stuff that comes out at the end of the third tri. Several pairs of panties per day kind of nastiness sometimes. If it's still kind of thick I wouldn't think it's your water, but definitely call your doctor for peace of mind if it helps!

@Weagle: thanks for sharing! I will monitor this morning and see what happens.
clementine / 806 posts
@mamalolo: mine has been milky this whole pregnancy and last week turned very watery and the quantity increased a lot. (A lot = I now wear pantyliners every day) I happened to have an OB appointment later that day, so I asked the same question. My dr. said not to worry, and that the quantity of discharge could actually increase up to 5x what it is now before I give birth, which shocked me! She says that if my water had broken it would completely saturate a pad in an hour.
But I'm not a doctor, so definitely check with yours if that will make you feel better -- it's their job to deal with these questions and keep us calm!

Yay! Following this thread closely and hoping I still have 3+ weeks left for my turn! I need all the time I can get to get settled in our new house before this baby arrives.

Just found out our least favorite midwife at our practice goes on a two week vacation starting next week. Hoping we can hold on till then!!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Did you ever decide between vbac or repeat section? My doctor/hospital confirmed my RCS date of 10/13 but if I go into labor in advance of then she wants to see how I progress. I went into labor naturally at 37+5 with my first so am curious if I make it to 39+3 with this one!
blogger / coconut / 8306 posts
@Nskillet: I have an RCS scheduled for Tuesday, but want a TOL if I go into labor on my own.
I agreed to a soft induction on Tuesday if I get to the hospital and am 3cm.
(Though I had a false alarm last week and wen presented with the option of an induction I squirmed and said no thanks! Thankfully I was sent home!)

Good for you! I am in the same boat. I would like a closely monitored TOL if it's in the cards and my doctor is very supportive. She did confirm that they will not induce due to my c section history but will augment if I'm in labor so we shall see!
blogger / coconut / 8306 posts
@Nskillet: yes, augmentation! I shouldn't have used the word induction.
Though it does frighten me. I don't want to augment the labor only to end up with a section anyway.
This little one has had so many chances to come out and hasn't, so my approach is that if we get to the CS date, I'll have needed one. At least, that's what I've been telling myself to calm myself down..!

Had scheduled csec today at 10:30, but baby wanted to come early! Baby boy born at 8 this morning. This csec was SO much better than my first. Phew. Good luck ladies! Everyone's getting close!

Still pretty new here, but stalking this thread and am excited for all of you. DH and I both (plus one each of our brothers and my MIL) have Sept birthdays, so I think it's a pretty fabulous month to be born! to all of you!

@tequiero21: Congratulations! Can't wait to hear all about it! xoxo
As for me, I have been diagnosed with a mild case of ICP. So, my doc and the MFM are recommending that I be induced between 37 and 38 weeks. I am 36 weeks today. Very nervous since I was thinking I had about a month left to plan but I only have a week and maybe some change!
I have a regularly scheduled appointment on Tuesday and we will discuss scheduling then. I'm still not sure if I'll go vaginally or c-sec because of my hips. I guess we'll discuss it on Tuesday. I just wish one of my docs would give me an answer one way or the other instead of making it my decision. Both have positives and negatives and I just don't know what to do.
cantaloupe / 6131 posts
@SweetiePie: Good thoughts for you! Hope they will give you enough information so you can make a decision that gives you peace of mind. I had a major surgery a few years ago where they could have done the procedure 2 different ways and just having all the information made the decision relatively easy for DH and I.
honeydew / 7463 posts
@gingerbebe: Thank you!
I'm just the worst with big decisions, I just worry and worry that I'm making the wrong choice. On one hand I don't want to mess up my hips worse than they already are, but it's not guaranteed I would. On the other I don't want a longer/harder recovery from a C section (which is also not guaranteed to happen). I just wish my orthopedic surgeon could say "you WILL mess up your hips" as opposed to "it's possible" so I could feel more confident in my decision. It just feels like I'm making a huge decision based on a "maybe".
Anyway, sorry to veer away from the topic! Either way I'm looking at something between 9/5 and 9/12! And my bday is 9/7 so that's kinda neat EDD was 9/26.
