@avivoca:Glad you are feeling better. applesandbananas left hb? Things sure are quiet around here. Hope everyone is doing great.

@Legowife: Yes. I hadn't heard from her in awhile and I searched her username. She shut down her account.

@mrsjd: Glad you are feeling great and amazing you are still in your regular pants! I can still wear one pair of jeans but they are a little snug this week.
@avivoca: oh I had no idea she left. I saw someone posted a while ago about being annoyed about people wearing hearing aids. I ignored the post but wonder if it was too offensive to her. Too bad, I was excited to find out how her scan went.
watermelon / 14467 posts
@skipra: I think that's what did it. I'm pretty sad about it, she lived in my area and I would have loved to meet up with her sometime.

@avivoca: aw that's too bad! I doubt we can keep this thread up without her!
Any appointments coming up? My 16 week is next Monday but should just be a weight/pee/hb check.

@avivoca: Oh man I didn't know she left! I was waiting to see when she would post about her elective ultrasound!
I'm hanging in there. Same ole same ole here. Definitely feeling kicks and stuff now. I scheduled the anatomy scan for 4/19 so things are moving along. The scan won't be as exciting for us since we are not finding out the sex but I'm super excited for everyone else to find out!

@skipra: Just had my 16 week today. My MW had a hard time finding the heartbeat because the baby kept kicking the doppler. It was pretty funny! I got good news that the Zofran I'm on seems to be working. I gained 3 lbs back out of the 10 I lost so I'm happy with that! Come update when you have your appt!

@MrsKoala: I had my 16 week last week and my anatomy is scheduled for 4/19 as well! Yay for anatomy twins. We already know the gender, so that excitement won't be happening then for us either. Just praying everything looks good.

My 14 week appointment is next Tuesday! I've been feeling some small fishy movements here and there, which is amazing! I'm also still fighting my insurance company to cover my out-of-network claim (even though the hospital was in-network, one of the doctors was not). I will not back down!

@mrsjd: So exciting! I can't wait until the 19th to see the baby again.

I'm going to repost our due date list and then add in Team Green info and the info for the ladies that already know like @mrsjd and @pelikila. Can you all remind me who is TG along with me?
watermelon / 14467 posts
@MrsKoala: TLCBaby is TG with this pregnancy! I'm not though. I'm excited for when you get to see baby again! I won't get another ultrasound until May.

@MrsKoala: I am tg too although feeling pretty certain it's a boy. I keep forgetting we don't know for sure!

Hi everyone! I have my anatomy scan on April 11th and we are finding out - all along I have thought boy but last night I had a dream it was a girl - who knows!!

I've been having some pretty long lasting kind of intense BH contractions. Mostly at night. I didn't get them until much later with lo1. Anyone else?
pomegranate / 3350 posts
@maddyz: no BH yet for me. I had them a lot with my second but dont remember when they started. Are you drinking enough water throughout the day?
@MrsKoala: glad the Zofran is working!
I'm 16 weeks today and decided Wednesday night to skip the Unisom because I've been feeling good just tired. Big mistake! I have been so nauseous since then and started throwing up again today. Not a fan of the extended morning sickness.

Ladies! I've missed you all! It's been a very hectic and busy few weeks but I am happy to reconnect here. So glad to see things moving along on here although I know it's been quiet. I was sad to read about that applesandbananas is no longer on HB and no longer heading up the board. I want to try to be more active so hopefully we can still keep things moving along. I realized how much I love having this space over the past few weeks when things got nuts.
All is well pregnancy wise here. I am feeling a lot more like myself and finally have some energy back at 14 weeks. It's going so fast! We finally shared our news with LO last week which was exciting and he seems to have taken it well! We weren't sure that he "got it" as he was not all that interested as we talked more about it, but since then he's asked lots of questions, has been excited to share "his news" with others (!), and loves to give kisses to the baby in my tummy. That's made it all so much more real for me (I was struggling with that for a long time) and I am so happy that LO took the news OK. We are spending lots of time reinforcing that he is still our special baby and big boy. Also, we've been talking a lot about the ways in which he will be so helpful after the baby arrives.
You'll remember a few weeks ago and we were still up in the air about being Team Green. In all honesty, I probably would've been very happy to have not found out until the baby is born, but my husband was feeling very strongly about finding out this time. We took the envelope at our last appointment and I sort of expected that we would shred it! For some reason, though, after obsessing about it the entire day, I felt incredibly motivated to open it that night. We wound up waiting until about 10 o'clock at night, after my husband got home from the gym, and I was a ball of nerves. I could seriously feel my heart beating out of my chest! We opened it and...
We are having another boy
!!!! I can't say that I was surprised one way or another, but I had much less of an intuition this time around than I did last time. I had a bit of an inkling after looking at the NT scan images more... Things like skull shape and my little knowledge about nub theory made me think "boy" if I had had to guess, but I certainly didn't have a strong sense like I did last time, even from the beginning. It's strange, because I did not have a picture in my mind of what our family would look like with either a boy or a girl, so it's certainly been interesting to settle into that stage of actually knowing. I can't wait

@maddyz: I have not had an BH yet and don't remember having them this early last time. I hope they're letting up for you.
@skipra: I'm so sorry that the nausea is back. I also would have wanted to skip the Unisom to try it out but hopefully it's still helping you.
@MrsKoala: Very happy to hear that you're gaining some weight back and feeling a bit better.
@avivoca: I'm so excited you're feeling some movement! I thought I might have the other day but I'm not totally sure yet. That's what made it so real for me last time!
I will respond a bit more later but on my phone right now. I hope that everybody is having a wonderful start to the weekend.

Oh my gosh guys, my ribs are KILLING ME tonight. I just want to cry. My uterus is not that far up and I'm only 14.5 weeks, so why are they so sore?
pomegranate / 3350 posts
@avivoca: That is weird. Did you exercise more than normal? Or maybe gas pains? I have so much gas this pregnancy (sorry TMI!) and with everything shifting around I feel it all over the place and sometimes it really hurts. I hope whatever is causing the pain, it eases up soon.
@Periwinkle: Congrats on your
!!! I have 2 boys now and it's the best! Love their brother relationship.
watermelon / 14467 posts
@skipra: I ran on Saturday, but they started hurting last night. I think I was laying weirdly on the couch. I've got such a short torso that things being pushed up could be causing the pain, but they feel much better today. I'm trying to concentrate on sitting up straight in my desk chair.

@Periwinkle: Hooray for telling your son and having it go so well!
I love the part about kisses for the baby!
Congratulations on another boy! That is so exciting. I'll update our list in a little while with those who are Team Green and those who know the sex.

So many second kids!
Just when I think it's getting better, I have really been struggling to eat the last few days and feeling like shit. I am so ready for the glowing part. Maybe that doesn't happen with a toddler too.
I found a used city select for a good price. I think we are going to need it sometimes for our nanny share this summer as well as come fall. It's already had 3 years of use, but is in good shape. What do you guys think?

@MrsKoala: @skipra: Thanks ladies!
@skipra: I am so excited about the idea of having "brothers." I still can't believe we know what we're going to be having after having been on the fence for so long about finding out (well, me, at any rate).

@skipra: I'm not going back until 20 weeks--3 weeks to go!
@maddyz: I am getting BH, too. I didn't get them at all last time, but it is like I have butterflies in my stomach, almost. It's weird.
@FLnative12: Congrats on a girl!!
@maddyz: We have a different stroller, but we've been using it for three years and it is in great condition still. I'm sure it'll be fine.
watermelon / 14467 posts
@maddyz: Three years should be fine. My BOB is going on 6 years old now (I'm not the first owner) and is still in really good shape.
