How's everyone feeling today? Everything done?
I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow and STILL have not packed a bag. And frozen meals did not happen!

@bubblegum: Everything's done! I wrapped it all up in a flurry of panic last week over losing mucus plug and having contractions, but that all seems to have disappeared. Now I'm just taking it day by day. Trying not to plan too much ahead, but with my personality that's really hard
Also, I'm even more amazed we don't have any more April babies yet! They must all be super cozy

@JennyPenny: So jealous! That's awesome. Hopefully your babe makes an appearance soon since you're ready to go.
I am too!! I would've thought we would have at least one baby by now!

@ValentineMommy: Good for you taking the week to "yourself". And massive eye roll to DH. Mine has been annoying me too.... but work is getting hard. It's hard to just sit at my desk and focus but I'm trying to finish something up and it's taking forever!!
@bubblegum: 37 weeks tomorrow for me! My bag is maybe 50% packed and I can't find my list of what else I wanted to put in it.... pregnancy brain.
@JennyPenny: My mom made extra chicken and veggie enchiladas and we froze them last night. I thought of you and your awesome freezer meals! She's making chocolate chip cookie dough to freeze today too. So happy she's here to help!
So surprised we don't have any more babies yet!

@bubblegum: I'm mostly done packing my bag! Freezer meals didn't happen here either. I literally just said to DH that maybe I can get them done next week if I'm off work.....prob not though lol!
@JennyPenny: I definitely thought we would have another baby by now too!

@psw27: I said the same thing! lol I cannot for the life of me remember what to pack. At least you have a head start!

@bubblegum: I know....it's 99% wishful thinking! I will probably just try and nap as much as possible lol!

@bubblegum: I'm at home resting. Having my membranes swept yesterday did nothing to start labor. I'm not even cramping! Everything's ready! Hubby is at work until I call him-if I call him.

@mrsmacSLP: let the wait game begin!! Finger crossed it happens soon for you!

@mrsmacSLP: Soon mama! Hang in there!
Holy moly! I just had a random contraction that had me doubled over - it literally felt like she was trying to come out. Yikes!

i had my ultrasound and 37 week appt this morning and baby is officially head down again! they said everything looks good with the fluid and placenta as well. I was so sure he was sideways still and mentally prepped for them to tell me to have a c-section so this is great news! Also this little guy has so much hair already! you could see it floating in the fluid around his head, which is funny because my daughter is almost 2 and still barely has any hair! i'm hoping this little one looks like me since my daughter is a clone of my husband and we look nothing alike. : )

@MissLace: woohoo for head down! That's so funny about the hair - my son was bald as can be until about 2 as well... I will be shocked if this one comes out with hair!

@MissLace: Yay for head down!!!! I would be super upset if DD was born with no hair - both DS's had a good amount at birth and great heads of hair now!

@MissLace: Yay, glad he's head down!! Neither of mine had much hair, but according to my ultrasound last week, they say this baby has a lot! I hope so!!
@bubblegum: My glider was delivered yesterday, so everything is ready in the nursery except the wall decals! So excited! I'm crazy exhausted, but my c-section is ONE MONTH from today, sooo I'm hoping April goes quickly!!
@ValentineMommy: Oh my gosh, hope you're all healthy soon! And good for you for taking some time for yourself. If I was working full time with two (sick) kids, I'd do the same thing! I took just a few sessions this month and they've kicked my butt. Newborn sessions are physically exhausting and I'm soooo sore!

@lilteacherbee: yay!!! I'm still waiting on mine aww what do the decals look like?! OMG a whole month!!!

@bubblegum: Silver dots and her name will go above her crib! I ordered the dots yesterday and my best friend is making her name (she does a lot of vinyl monogramming/personalization with her cricut).
I found myself wandering into the nursery several times last night just to sit and look 30 days and counting!

@lilteacherbee: Aww that sounds adorable! hahaha you are not alone! I do it all the time. I'm in love with her room.

@bubblegum: Me too! With my first, we were in an apartment, so I couldn't paint or do as much to the nursery as I wanted. Last time, I knew he would move in with his brother eventually, so I just had him in our room for a long time and didn't really do a nursery. So this time, I decided to go all out haha! And of course, I'm still shocked we're having a girl, so all the pink is just crazy to me! I've been ordering lots of headbands and yesterday, I may have taken out some outfits and matched headbands with them

So much going on in here, but no babies! Shocking!
Had my 37 week appt today and my cervix is closed but softening. No big news there.
Yesterday was AWFUL. My feet swelled massively and I was so sore and exhausted. We had a crazy busy weekend with events all day on both Saturday and Sunday so that probably had something to do with it. I cried a bunch last night and DD got so mad and upset (ie temper tantrum) at bedtime that she threw up. Ugh. It was just a bad day.
Today is much better though, mainly because she spent the morning at my friend's house with her son while I had my doctor appt and ran errands, haha.
Got a few more things we needed at our sprinkle this weekend, plus gift cards to finish it up. I did more work in the nursery and got almost everything washed. No bags packed here! I've forgotten what I need, haha. Anyone have a good simple list?

Had my membrane sweep today. Doubt it will do anything. Had it done about 1:30 and just not having the spotting that dr said I would have. Hoping it will lead to something.

NOTHING! I'm so annoyed and disappointed. I was so hopeful that I would go into labor on my own or at least earlier. It so boring to have two scheduled births at least for me it is. It's nice to know the day but it really took away from the excitement for me. One more doctor appt and it's all over! Next Thursday and then the following Tuesday little babe will be here. 14 days and counting
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
@bubblegum: Ugh, sorry mama! If it makes you feel better, I have two Thursdays after you to wait. I seriously doubt I'll go into labor before my date because my last two were at 39.5 weeks and they stayed put until then. This one is a little earlier at 39+1, but I guess anything could happen because it's #3. I'm just glad to be under 30 days after today
@littleblessings: Fingers crossed something happens soon!
@abbydabbydoodlebug: Haha I packed my bags last time the night before my c-section...I like to live on the edge
pear / 1717 posts
@lilteacherbee: thanks love! Aww well I'm going to be pulling for you too and be really hopeful our babes will surprise us both. Finally under 30!!! Whoot Whoot!!!
@JennyPenny: fingers crossed!!! That would be awesome

@jennypenny Thinking of you, good luck tomorrow with the ECV, or better yet, hopefully you won't need it because the babe will be head down by then ; )
nectarine / 2460 posts
@MissLace: Thanks!
I'm having crazy movements again tonight (after nothing during the day today) and I was reading some belly mapping stuff to figure out position. Based on movements I would guess ROP and head down! Also this position mentions "f the baby had been breech recently before flipping head down, this is a common position to βlandβ in." So I'm hopeful the ECV tomorrow can be cancelled Too bad I'll have to fast regardless
pomelo / 5220 posts
@JennyPenny: good luck today! I hope he's had down for you and you can skip the ecv!
37 weeks today for me! I was having some contractions off and on all night but they tapered off. My doctor said it'll probably be 7-10 days after my last progesterone shot so could be any time now
pear / 1717 posts
@psw27: when was your last shot?!
38 weeks today!!! Man is this dragginggggg!!!

Man, these babies are comfy in their mama's bellies! I'm so curious to find out who will be first!

I'm going in for a growth scan today. I'm a little nervous. Some of you saw this on the board I posted on but my belly has been measuring quite small (like 3-4 weeks behind) so they are making sure everything is ok. I hope the baby is just petite and low but of course I keep reading about other issues this could indicate.... like problems with the placenta, amniotic fluid levels etc. my friend told me last week that someone she knows went in for a growth scan for similar reasons and they induced her that day I really want a vbac and I'm not sure if they would induce me (I have a feeling they would push for RCS).... so praying that doesn't happen!!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: hopefully all the mamas who are early in the month!!
nectarine / 2460 posts
@justjules: good luck today! I'm definitely not confident in their small/large measurements since I had 2 doctors 2 days apart say "giant/4 weeks ahead" and "smallish/36 percentile". Either way I hope you get good news and nothing that would conflict with a vbac
