    @bubblegum: I think maybe 30 min- an hour? Mine isn't actually at the hospital, it's at the lab next to the hospital and it depends on how busy they are.

    @justjules: Glad everything is okay!

    @ValentineMommy: Yep, I've had waves of nausea lately and it's hard for me to eat because I have no room left. I'm full after a few bites and then starving again an hour later 🙄

    @mrsmacSLP: totally normal and a sign of labor in some cases! Fingers crossed!

    @jennypenny: good luck today!

    Every morning I check this board to see if any babies are on their way... And nope! Lots of happy campers just hanging out! Who is our first scheduled induction or C section? Might end up our first April baby (other than Evie of course!)

    @psw27: Thanks!

    Looks like we should definitely have @littleblessings's baby by April 12. But that'd be crazy cause that's still a week away!

    I can't believe there are STILL no babies!

    My nausea was awful last night. I'm starting to wonder if it's from the antibiotics I'm on for the bronchitis. It's just a zpack and they're never bothered me before, but I guess you never know with pregnancy. Either way, I feel like poop. I'm SO glad I'm starting maternity leave early.....I really need to rest and get better before this csec!

    Anyone else's older LO's acting...."off"? DS1 (who is 4) has been extra emotional and asking to sleep in my bed (which he literally never does). He said this morning that he's afraid something is going to happen to me.....I feel so sad for him!

    @ValentineMommy: Lucky you!! I still have all of next week before I can begin my leave!

    Aww poor little guy! Yes DS peed on the sofa last night (he's peed trained) for the first time ever!!! We were SHOCKED! It's like he knows something is off in his world

    @bubblegum: I am just too sick and not getting any rest to get better! My OB strongly urged me to stop working and take a break so I get better before the csection. I can't imagine coughing up a lung after being cut open lol! I wish I could make DS1 feel better! He had no problem when we had DS2, so I'm not sure why such a difference now....maybe his age?

    @ValentineMommy: oh yeah! That would be super painful! awww maybe it is! Maybe he's just more aware of what's going on this time around.

    @ValentineMommy: My little guy has been super super clingy and just wanting his mama. I think it's because my mom is here and he gets a little more clingy whenever a grandparent visits -- usually because it means DH and I are off on a trip for a few days -- not this time buddy!

    @ValentineMommy: My DD has been extra tantrumy this week, especially at bedtime! It took 50 minutes of tears and screaming to get her to calm down to go to bed. Argh

    @ValentineMommy: DS1 (3.5) has been more difficult these days. He's usually super easy going (the 20 month old is my strong willed, wild one), so it's strange for him.

    Where ARE these babies?! I'm counting on y'all to get me through until May 4th with some cute babies

    Version was not successful It seemed so promising. They were able to easily lift his but out of my pelvis but he just wouldn't turn! It definitely hurt a lot and now I just feel so bummed. I'm still glad I tried though.

    @JennyPenny: I am so sorry little guy is being stubborn about turning!

  18. ValentineMommy

    @bubblegum: I'm guessing so. 4 seems pretty emotional so far!

    @psw27: Aww, yes! That's exactly how DS2 is...extra clingy. And he was never very affectionate before!!

    @abbydabbydoodlebug: DS1 has been begging to sleep in our bed for the past week. He was such a mess last night, we had to give in! He already told me he wants to sleep in it again tonight....I don't know what to do! I can literally count on my hand the number of times he's slept with us. I definitely don't want to start the habit right before having the baby and being away in the hospital....but I also can't deny that I love his snuggles!

    @lilteacherbee: Girl, yes! DS1 is my "easy" one, and he's been so emotional. DS2 is definitely my wild child...and he's been all lovey. SO weird! I'm praying that #3 isn't MORE wild than #2....cause I will lose my mind lol

    @JennyPenny: Aww man! I'm sorry! Any chance he will move on his own? DD is still flipping all the damn time. It HURTS now!

    @JennyPenny: So sorry you went through that and it didn't work.

    I'm not exactly happy to hear other future siblings are super emotional but it makes me feel a little better about mine. I feel a little depressed today because he's been so hard. He still talks about the baby super positively but he's been waking up in the middle of the night sobbing and insisting on sleeping in our bed. We've never been co-sleepers so not exactly an ideal time to start!! We had a huge fight this morning about getting dressed, my husband threw the clothes and I had to pick them up of course it hurt my baby area and I got annoyed so we were annoyed at each other and our son. He was acting up last night too, not unheard of at all, but strange because it was while we were outside and he lives for being outside.

  24. ValentineMommy

    pomelo / 5791 posts

    @MOMTOLITTLEB: Exactly - DS1 has never co-slept, so it's really weird that he wants to be in our bed all the sudden. I tried to explain to him that if he got used to it, he wouldn't be thrilled when the baby came home and would wake him in the night in our room....but it only made him more upset. Fingers crossed it's just a quick adjustment period for all of us!

    @mrsmacSLP: @ValentineMommy: @abbydabbydoodlebug: @psw27: @MOMTOLITTLEB: Thanks guys! I am definitely bummed, but that's the worst of it. I did enough c-section reading that I'm not really scared of that anymore, so that's good. I was just so sure it was going to work! There's still a small chance he could flip. I'm hoping to schedule the c-section after Easter, so that'd give him a few extra days too. So for now I'll prep with that date in mind and maybe do some more spinning babies stuff but I don't think I'm going to bother with the acupuncture or chiropractor stuff people recommend.

    cantaloupe / 6791 posts

    @JennyPenny: Ugh, sorry it didn't work Sounds like you have a pretty good plan in place, though. Fingers crossed he flips on his own before then.

    @ValentineMommy: Yessss! They're both about to drive me bananas! DS2 has always been a mama's boy, but lately he's super clingy. I went to DS1's Easter party at preschool this morning and left DS2 with my mom and she said he was so emotional and calling for me while I was gone. This makes me nervous... 😬

    @bubblegum: I didn't make the cookies yesterday. I ended up making them this morning. Ate a couple. Those things burn your tongue if you're not a spicy fan. Went out for coffee with my Aunt and we walked around Walmart for a while. Back home eating a couple more cookies and then taking a nap.

    SO and I got a pretty hard blow this morning. He is laid off for the next two weeks which is horrible money wise but the timing is great for baby. Since he is laid off I can choose any time for the induction. It's a hard decision to make.

    Got a call to schedule my c-section this morning. April 18. Its a good sign I think because that's the date DH wanted and its with my favorite doctor from my practice. It also gives me 10 more days to try and get this stubborn guy to flip on his own. I packed my swimsuit to head to the pool after work today for some underwater handstands

    @bubblegum: haha! Their standard is 39 weeks exactly which for me was the 13th. But I didn't want to be in the hospital recovering over Waster weekend since this the first one we were gonna do egg hunts with DS1

    @JennyPenny: So lucky! But I totally get it! My 39th week is the 12th but my doctor is only in the hospital on Tuesdays so that's why I have to wait until the 18th! Time is dragginggggggg
