DD turned head down again and somehow, it threw out my back. At least I think that's what did it. I woke up in the middle of the night and felt her big move and then shooting back pain. I thought I was in labor! Day 1 of maternity leave and I'm stuck on the couch immobile. It hurts so bad!

Okay ladies: we've done everything to get this little man out (yes, even sex) and NOTHING! I have another membrane sweep at 12 PST, then I'll be making those labor cookies. We also have a wind storm arriving today so my fingers are crossed!

@psw27: Seriously stubborn and my first lesson of being a parent I guess! Patience! I wouldn't mine my water breaking aside from the fact my husband is still at work today, but if it happens it happens!

Well I'm dialated to a 2 and 50% effaced. So I was sent home to rest. Our grocery store didn't have molasses (WTH?!) so I only got the stuff to make the smoothie!

We have a family Easter egg hunt Sunday. Until then the only thing I'm doing is relaxing and watching children's movies with DD and DS. I've given up on induction techniques. Little miss is just too comfortable in there. So all in all just chilling until my last appointment on Tuesday and then having a baby soon after.

@psw27: yes! So my body did do something! She said I was almost a 3 but they can't say 2.75 so it was a 2 haha. I have no pain still, so that's a plus! The smoothie was delicious but it was almost 4 cups so I saved half for this evening.

So I had a baby today.
Rougher contractions woke me up at 4:30 this morning. Took Tylenol around 6am thinking it was just false labor and sat in the tub waiting for the contractions to stop. They didn't. Called my mom to take me to the hospital at 8:30. We got here about 9:30 and I was at a 9. They had me walk for a half an hour and checked me again. I was at a 3. They decided to keep me. I got ahold of SO to let him know it's the real deal. I got an epidural around 12:30 and was at a 4. Was checked again at 1:30 and was at a 5-6. An hour later was at 7cm and an hour later was at 8-9. 10 minutes after that I felt the urge to push. They confirmed I was at 10cm. I had my beautiful little Nova Jade at 3:41 pm. She was 19.75 in long and 7lbs 4oz!

@JennyPenny: thank you! I'm still in shock with how fast things went for me. They are never that fast and she has the most hair I've seen on a newborn yet. That heartburn and acid reflux was well worth it!

She has the most hair out of all the babies up here right now. I can't wait to meet all your babies. They really do have their own agendas and come when you least expect it.
@yellowbeach: I'm so happy to join you and Evie in the postpartum/born club. How is she doing?
We get to go home today. Nova has been excessively poked while we've been up here. She tested positive for Coombs and they had to monitor her extra close for jaundice and anemia. Jaundice level at highest is a 5.9 as of this morning. If you're anything like me you have no idea what Coombs positive means. I asked the nurse and she said that my blood (O+) mixed with her blood (A+) at some point which is generally not a problem but can cause adverse reactions. Everything is perfectly fine though. I'll be posting a few pictures later. My favorites are the babies in the cars seats for the first time so you guys will see that and a couple other pictures when we get ready to go home.
ETA: I still can't get over her hair either. Luckily she loves it played with so I pet her super soft hair constantly.

I had my last regular appointment today. Still breech. Its kind of nice knowing that I'll get to meet LO in 8 days or less. Though at this point I am hoping its 8 days because I'd like to be home for Easter.

This Thursday is my last day! Only 8 days until my girl is here. I have a feeling that it's going to drag but it's still so shocking to know it's almost time, like for real this time lol
Anyone feel like their time will be sooner than later? Anything left to do? Any Easter plans?
