@delight: I found the online BRU registry insanely frustrating. Super easy to add stuff but I've had about half my registry go to Miscellaneous (which I think means they discontinued the product)!!!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@delight: Yup, I'm in Canada. That's why I find it weird. It might be worth a shot to set up your registry on-line and then go into the store to ask for the free stuff. It's a nice little goodie bag.
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
That's just crazy about the 100 items. When we registered there, you got a gift bag if you registered for more than 60 items (easy, once you pick diapers and wipes and all the little things). But there was no penalty for not having that many!! Maybe that one girl was just clueless?

You ladies are making me feel like a crazy person! We just did a Buy Buy Baby registry today and added 80 items...is that a lot? We added a lot of little stuff though like bottles and teethers and stuff.
While we were at BBB I tried out some strollers and we're going with the City Mini GT. We've been converted. I was amazed by how the City Mini folded and how compact it got. I'm also hoping to get the Chicco Liteway Plus as well for an umbrella stroller.

@JamieLee: I think for me the issue is my SIL is giving me tons of stuff. All her bottles, her pump, stroller, baby bjorn....the list goes on. So when I heard 100 items, there was no way I could do it. I have 15 on mine right now. I just don't know what to add! Give me ideas!!
@Grace: @redsmarties: I will definitely go back and add some things in store and see if I can talk to another sales rep. I want my free stuff. I wish the Canadian BRU had Aden and Anais swaddle blankets
pear / 1693 posts
@JamieLee: not crazy! I have about 80 items on my registry. A good portion of it is super practical, unfun things that I figure I will buy with the completion discount. I'd rather have it all in one place to keep track of it.
clementine / 930 posts
@delight: baby proofing stuff, thermometer, nail clippers, brush, comb, nose frida, humidifier. You might want to register for a couple different kinds of bottles in case baby doesn't like the kinds your SIL had. Insulated bottle tote, breast milk storage bags, shampoo/body wash/lotion, towels, washcloths, crib sheets, pack and play sheets, mattress cover, changing pad and covers, car window shade, car mirror, toys...
@JessKas: that's how mine is too. I have some cute toys and bigger gear items, but lots of it is stuff like bottles, shampoo, diaper rash cream, etc. that I will need to buy and I might as well get 10% off...

@JamieLee: We bought the citi mini GT and I'm obsessed! I've been pushing it around my house like a crazy person. lol Can't wait to use it for real with my baby!
pineapple / 12802 posts
@Grace: That's what I did. Set it up online and they sent me an email for my free goodies and they were all pretty neat!!
@skipper2010: aaaah! I can't wait to get mine! So happy to hear you love it!!!

Ugh...sorry I've been away for a few days ladies! We had some crazy storms here that knocked out out power and had me on pins and needles hoping my basement wasn't going to flood (since my sump pump is electric!).
Anyways - we made it without a flood! Woohoo!
Today we have my cousins wedding tonight but I am desperately trying to get the fan in the nursery and the closet shelving painted before I have to start getting ready.
I'm hoping to wear my pre-preg assets under my dress tonight to smooth things out. Its tight but not crazy uncomfortable - so I am thinking its ok. We have a long drive (1.5 hours) so I'll wear it there but probably take it off before we leave so I am comfy on the way home!
How is everyone else doing? What are you ladies up to this weekend?
nectarine / 2220 posts
Sorry I'm so behind. We were away for a week and then super busy catching back up at work last week. I'll respond to the posts that I think are still looking for answers and try to avoid the things that were "SOOO two weeks ago".
@Ocean girl: What a steal! It's so hard to find good sales in Canada, so even more impressive!
@MrsD - Congrats on the baby girl!
@Modern Daisy - I keep getting interrogated about whether we ACTUALLY aren't finding out, or maybe know and just aren't telling people. Kind of annoying! Is anybody else noticing this particular phenomenon, or is it just me??
@Grace - I still got a few short sleeved sleepers/onesies. I figure they're good for undershirts or if it happens to be a particularly hot summer. We're in Vancouver, so it doesn't get too freezing here.
@Mrs Bicycle - yay! Another baby girl!
@Modern Daisy - wow, that's kind of rude. I had a coworker tell me that I was starting to look "portly". I just laughed, called her a b-word and that portly is NEVER a compliment.
We took our "babymoon" to California last week, and I got my first stranger comment. One of those guys who drives the bike with the cart carrying tourists in San Francisco came up behind us on the sidewalk and was ringing the bell and yelling he was going to run us over. Then he passed and saw the belly and said "oh, you're pregnant, I wouldn't run you down!". I told DH baby saved his life. Hahahaha
My appointment on the 16th was uneventful (yay!) and now I have an extra 24 week ultrasound on Tuesday and am doing my glucose tolerance on Thursday. I did it once before for regular diabetes check and yeah, pretty gross. My next regular OB apptointment is now May 15 because I got released from my every two weeks schedule because everything is so boring! Unfortunately it'll be short lived, since after 28 weeks it goes back to biweekly for everybody but still feels like good news
DH can feel baby from outside now which is a little freaky but super cool. The only thing is for the last couple days, I think the kicks seem to be right on my cervix! Kinda hurts a lot, and all through my business area.
cherry / 233 posts
@.Twist.: I went to the yoga class on my own, and it was a little awkward, but not too bad. There were a couple sets of friends there but it seemed like most of the other ladies were there alone too.
@Delight: I hope you like your yoga class! Mine was nice but expensive so DH and I are debating how often we can afford for me to go. I'm glad your appointment went well. I hope I've gained less weight at my next one too… I don't have a scale at home so it's always a surprise.
I can't believe you're supposed to add that my items to your registry! They have a bigger selection online anyway, and like you said it will be easier. My central registry is at BabyList but mainly because it links to a cloth diaper registry, an Amazon registry, and a Target registry (because my MIL said she knows a bunch of people who won't use their credit cards online). Who are these people?! I wish I knew someone who could give me a bunch of used baby stuff!
@JamieLee: Not crazy! I just counted my items and I've got 68. A bunch of them are <$10 things, so that makes me feel better about having so many. My MIL still thinks I should add more...
@Grace: I think I'll have to wait to find out! The suit looks and fits fine now so I'm a little concerned it will be too small later, but it has runching on the sides and I can pull the belly portion forward a fair amount. I also tried on the next size up, but it rode up in the back and I didn't want to be pulling it down over my butt all the time. The belly on that one definitely had more room to grow but I was afraid it might be too saggy to wear right now (especially when wet). I'm hoping the smaller size is the right choice but it's a tough call!
@ALIVOO01: Not your fault; I think I combined hamburger and grilled cheese, and wrote cheeseburger. Definitely ambiguous.
@SapphireSun: The only person asking me if we really found out but aren't telling is my MIL. I probably deserve it from her since she knows that was our original plan. I've been getting kicks to cervix lately too! What a strange and unpleasant feeling. Does your husband like feeling the kicks? Mine seems too, but then he never leaves his hand there to feel them for too long. I think I like to feel and look at my belly moving from the outside more than he does! Once I felt a really fun ticklish movement in there, but no repeats on that one yet.
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
@JamieLee: Totally not crazy. I think we put on around 70 items in the store, and then there were several items I couldn't find in the store, so I added them online. Around 80 items for sure now.
SO tired today, and I can't figure out why. Maybe baby's having a growth spurt or something and zapping all of my energy. Hoping to rest up before our trip this week!

@Mrs Bicycle: Congrats on your baby girl!! And welcome to Team Hamburger!!
@JessKas: @Modern Daisy: Ugh. Some people seriously have no filter. I can't imagine ever saying anything like that!
@delight: That lady at BRU is on crack. DH and I registered at BRU and they didn't say anything to us about having to have a minimum number of items. In fact, we were there for 2 hours and guess how many items we ended up with on our registry? 42!! I can't imagine having to put 100 on there.
@Mrs D: Glad you made it through the storms without any flooding! We have a wedding to go to next weekend, and I am thinking about buying some maternity spanx.
Etsy is so dangerous, y'all. This morning I ordered 14 headbands for our little girl! 14!! At least they are all super cute
Last night DH and I saw kicks for the first time! I was lying on the couch and she was being super active and we could see my belly pop out every time she kicked. It was SO cool! DH loved it. I think he feels closer to the baby now that he can feel and see her kicks. I could seriously stare at my belly all day!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Hey ladies. I too am very sorry for being out of the loop lately. I work in and live just outside of Boston, and as you probably saw on the news, we've had a pretty tough week. I am happy and immensely grateful to report that my DH and I are safe (I didn't go into work the day of the bombings, and DH was able to come home quickly), my friends who ran in the marathon all checked in safely and soundly. That being said, it was one of the most frightening weeks I've ever experienced. We were very fearful and nervous about being at work for the rest of the week (I work blocks from the finish line of the marathon), and yesterday the city went back on lock down and we watched as one of the most intense manhunts in American history happened.
Today, we collectively breathed a sigh of relief. The people responsible have been stopped. We have a wonderful and brave law enforcement system and they with the FBI handled what was an awful situation very quickly. The people of Boston made me proud to be a part of the community. That being said, I am so grateful to have been safe from the terrifying events and my heart goes out to anyone who was affected.
On happier and very exciting news, DH felt his first kicks a few days ago! Feeling very very lucky. I hope you ladies are all well, safe and happy.

@greenebee: I am so glad you and your friends and family are safe and sound. What a week you have had. I can't imagine what you have been through.
@lawbee11: I've been seeing the movement too, it's so cool! I've stared at my belly a lot today
@redsmarties: I've been really tired the last few days too. Definitely had a big nap this afternoon. I was thinking today that I won't have many Saturdays left that consist of sleeping in, reading a good book, playing candy crush and having a nap. However, it will be super awesome to have a baby around!
@chanzi: My yoga class is not too expensive, 107$ for 8 sessions. My best friend is going with my so that should be fun, I hope we enjoy it!
nectarine / 2530 posts
@Mrs Bicycle: Yay, congrats on being team burger
@delight: Uhm, we only have 34 items on our BRU registry 0_o;;. We have 76 items on our amazon registry, but a lot of those are repeats.
@Sapphiresun: yay for boring!
I splurged on myself today and bought the camera I wanted (Canon SX50). In the store at best buy it was $57 higher than bestbuy.com. ....yeah. Of course I price matched.
Also went shopping with my DSS (dear step daughter) for baby clothes at Carter's :). I basically gave her free reign; she did a great job and I think we came away with 5 items for only $35.
And my paper poofs came! I put together two of them so far. Even just fluffing them out is a lot more time consuming than I thought they'd be.
nectarine / 2530 posts
and of course, after waiting and waiting and finally buying the crib and mattress...the crib goes on sale lol. Yay for a quick phone call to request a price adjustment, and poof, $54 back on my card!
So FYI, if any of you like that Target crib (http://www.target.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/p/delta-bentley-s-series-4-in-1-crib/-/A-14317937) it's now $199 :).
also, they're just temporarily hanging from the window curtain rod, but here are all the paper poms!

@StrawberryBee: Those are beautiful!! I need to find the right tissue colours to make mine. Great colour choices!!
@delight: That is exactly what my day was; right down to the Candy Crush. And maybe some Taco Bell for dinner.

Hey ladies, I know none of us are doctors, but I've been having some pain in the right part of my lower abdomen. It's not cramping, it's more like a dull and sometimes sharp pain.
Does anyone know what this is? Anyone else experience this?
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
@MrsD: Yay for no flood! How’d the wedding go?
@SapphireSun: LOL at your comment the baby saved DH’s life. I’m jealous you got to go on a babymoon in San Francisco!! That’s where I wanted to go, but due to scheduling conflicts, we won’t be able to make it. I’m so sad!! What all did y’all do there? I want to live vicariously through you!
@Redsmarties: Girrrrrrrl. I can TOTALLY relate to the exhaustion. This past week seems to be the worse. I try going to bed earlier, but still wake up as if I only got a few hours of sleep!
@Lawbee11: That’s so cool y’all can SEE the kicks now. I don’t think I can yet. There’s been maybe one incident when baby boy was rolling around that MIGHT have been visible from the outside, but that’s it. His kicks can be felt externally, but no visual yet.
@greenebee: So thankful and relieving to hear you and your friends and family are safe!
@StrawberryBee: Those pom poms looks great!! Love the color and how FULL they are!
@Modern Daisy: I used to get those sensations up until like week 22, but in my lower left abdomen. I brought this up to my OB at each appt and she just said it was growing pains. As long as there’s no blood, we’re good. However, your appendix is on your lower right side so. Hoping it isn’t appendicitis! How long have you been experiencing the pain? I’d call your dr/OB to get it checked out just in case!!
You ladies are way ahead of the game and already starting your registries!! I’m totally jealous. We were planning on starting ours this past weekend since my friends are already drafting up baby shower invites, but got devastating news that my uncle is diagnosed with lung cancer so we dropped everything and drove 3 hours to be with my family.

@Mrs D: How was the wedding??
@Sapphiresun: YAY for boring!!! So happy to hear things are going much smoother now. Also, yay for babymoons! That is super exciting. I think we're getting a post babymoon with baby. hahaha is there a name for that?
@chanzi: hehe, thanks! I guess I should just suck it up and try since I obviously won't be the only one there without a friend!
@redsmarties: The growth spurts are crazy! I think I can kinda tell when he's having one because he won't be very active for a few days and then BAM he's a little ninja and I am STARVING. Totally weird.
@lawbee11: 14!!!! I want to see a picture of her in every.single.one!
@greenebee: Oh gosh. So scary. I am so happy to hear that you and yours are safe. I really can't even imagine what you've gone through. But yay for feelable kicks!
@StrawberryBee: I loooooove those poms!!! I can't wait to see what they look like in the nursery!
@Modern Daisy: I've had something similar come and go. I've chalked it up to growing pains.
@Alivoo01: oh noooo. So sorry to hear about your uncle! Do you know he caught it soon?? Hopefully there is lots of time for him to get into remission. Fingers crossed!!
AFM: My weekend was wonderful. It was my birthday yesterday so Saturday a few girlfriends took me out for dinner at our FAVOURITE Japanese Steak House restaurant. Then yesterday DH gave me an iPad for my birthday. SO cool. I've been playing with it non stop and may have pouted that I couldn't play with it while at work today. hahaha
I also was told by one of DH's cousins girlfriend that she has an extra, practically brand new, solid oak beautiful crib that she'll never use and is GIVING it to us. Wowowow. We've given them a lot of our baby stuff from when the boys were little (and I wasn't preggo!) and so I guess she wanted to give back, but I never expected a crib + mattress!!!!
Also also, I just found out one of my recently reacquainted girlfriends just found out she was preggo!
So, it was a very busy weekend!!!!

@.twist.: First off, happy belated birthday girl!! Yay for an awesome bday with your girlfriends. And heck yea for a free crib AND mattress. That's awesome!!!
As for my uncle, he went to the dr on Friday due to stomach pains and the dr took xrays to find that it was lung cancer instead. He goes back today for a biopsy and see how severe it is. I'm hoping it isn't too bad and that it's totally treatable.

@greenebee: So glad you are ok--I can't imagine how scary that whole thing must have been. Yay for your DH feeling kicks!
@StrawberryBee: Love those paper poofs! They look awesome!
@Modern Daisy: Could it be round ligament pain? I know that's more common on the right side. I had some dull aches that lasted a few days a couple of weeks ago. They eventually went away, but I worried the entire time!
@Alivoo01: So sorry to hear about your uncle
@.twist.: Don't worry! Instagram will be littered with pics of her modeling all of her headbands Happy belated birthday!!

@lawbee11: @Alivoo01: @delight: Thanks ladies!
@Modern Daisy: I think @lawbee11: is right. I was just reading about Round Ligament Pain and it seems to fit your description.
grapefruit / 4187 posts
@lawbee11: @greenebee: I just read the Webmd page for Round Ligament Pain and it sounds exactly like what I have! It never lasts more than a few minutes at a time and it's usually only once or twice a day so I'll call the Dr. if it gets worse. I figured it was growing pains of some sort honestly since I don't have any cramping or bleeding.
pineapple / 12802 posts
@Modern Daisy: Yea, I've heard that as long as it is inconsistent and there's no major cramping/bleeding, then all is good.

@.Twist.: That sounds like a great weekend!
I finally bought a pair of maternity jeans and also a belly band. Tomorrow I'm planning to check out the maternity wear situation at the baby consignment shops and also go swimming. Maybe if I tell the internet about it then I'll actually do it.
This weekend I started sleeping with a pillow between by legs and it seems to have eliminated the sleep and back pain issues I had the previous couple of nights. Now I see why everyone loves the body pillows!
pomelo / 5326 posts
@.twist.: Happy belated birthday! Now you will be playing candy crush even more! I must admit one of the reasons I even bought an iPad last month was for a bigger screen for CC
@StrawberryBee: those Pom poms are amazing!
@Alivoo01: I'm so sorry about your uncle. My thoughts are with you.
@chanzi: I think I'll try the pillow between my legs tonight. The last couple of nights I just can't get comfy. Things were going so well before. I need a snoogle pillow. Is that what they're called?
As for my registry... My BF started hers the same day as mine online and just got her coupon through email for the free stuff. I better get mine soon! I've hit 40 items already but I added 8 boxes of breast pads Do people know Best Buy sells baby stuff? You have to order online but its free shipping. All the Angel Care monitors and a bunch of car seats are on sale right now and one of their gliders..... In Canada at least!
Anyone still having bad gas? Does this ever go away? Man it's brutal!
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
@Modern Daisy: Glad you think that's what it is. Agree that as long as there isn't any bleeding then you should be fine
@chanzi: I love my Snoogle! I sleep so much better with it.
@delight: Yes to the bad gas. I think we're pretty much stuck with it!
We ordered our car seat tonight! I originally wanted the Uppababy Mesa because it's beautiful, but the release date was pushed back again to late June/early July, and the people that have pre-ordered will get it first, so I was worried we wouldn't get it on time and I just don't need that to worry about. I was debating between the Chicco Keyfit and the Maxi-Cosi Mico (both of these are compatible with our stroller), and I got on No Better Deal tonight and there was a pink Maxi Cosi for $119 plus we had a 10% off code, so we pulled the trigger! It is SO cute, and we got a great deal on it! The Mesa is $279, so we saved some major bucks. DH is very happy about that!

@Alivoo01: We did a California Coastal Cruise, so we were only in San Fran for 24 hours, but we got off the night before and just wandered the city and checked out the piers and went to a delicious Italian place for dinner. Then we got up early the next morning and took the ferry over to Alcatraz Island and checked that out which was really cool! (We're Criminal justice majors working in law enforcement though, so we may have found it more interesting than the general population haha). It was a pretty low key trip with lots of food. I gained 4 lbs in a week... and not sure how much of that can be blamed on baby.
@.twist.: Haha... I think they just call that "normal" for the next 18 years??
So, who's picked their stroller yet? I need one that's pretty compact because we have a very small car, and a very small apartment that requires me to walk up 3 flights of stairs regularly because the elevator always seems to be "reserved" for moving. I thought I'd settled on the Britax B-Safe, B-Agile combo, but we went to Babies R Us on the weekend and my husband looked like a hunchback trying to push the thing. I'm 5'2" and he's 6'2" so it's tough to find one that's comfortable for both of us... so we may just give up and get one that suits me since I'll likely be the one dealing with it most of the time??

@StrawberryBee: these poms are amazing...did you make these or buy them? I cant remember!!
@Alivoo01: @.twist.: The wedding was very nice. A got a bit emotional - it was my cousin (who to be honest I dont have a close relationship with but still view as the 10 year old boy playing in the yard outside) and they had to bump their wedding up 2 months bc he is being deployed to Afghanistan in one month. Just made me sad - and made me grateful that 1) people like him go do that and 2) that DH and I are so fortunate to have each other every night!
@Alivoo01: So sorry for the news your family got - I seriously frickin' hate cancer...just hate it with every part of my being. I hope your Uncle gets good results!
@greenebee: What a scary week you must have had. DH and I lived in Boston for 3 years (well DH for like 8 because he went to BC for school)so it was surreal for us living it from afar and through our friends - I cant even imagine what it would have been like being there. I was watching the celebrations Friday night and just felt such a strong sense of pride for how gracious the residents were in cheering on the public servicemen. It renewed my feelings that Boston is my favorite place on earth - I just love the city and the quality of the people/families there!
@chanzi: Wow - I am so ashamed of the fact that I have been in Maternity pants since like week 10 - and maybe more so that I am trying to find a way to never wear pants with a waistband again!
@lawbee11: Awesome deal - good job!!
@Sapphiresun: Did he extend the handle? The lady at the BBB near us showed us that it extends like 12 inches. Thats the stroller we settled on - but I am 5'4" and DH is 5'7" so not much of an issue for us!
AFM...I'm traveling again this week but only to northern Ohio so not that bad. I am at maybe the nicest Holiday Innn - at check in they offered me champagne and strawberries. When I said no, she tried to insist and I told her I was pregnant. So she made me a plate of fruit, two otis cookies and milk. SERIOUSLY...I hate and love her,
This weekend we ordered the remaining furniture for the nursery (rocker and changing table) they should be arriving by next weekend. I also painted the closet (just freshened up the white) and put the shelves back in. Lastly, I converted the fan which was ugly fake brown wood to bright white for $5 - so glad I didnt have to buy a new fan. Once the furniture comes we'll have our blank slate and get to start decorating with pink!

@delight: haha oh nooooo! As if I need to be MORE addicted to that game. LOL. I still need to download candy crush, but my Apple ID account is screwed up so I am taking all our Apple products to the Apple store on saturday for them to fix it, and once it's all better I will TOTALLY DOWNLOAD it to my iPad. lol. Troubbbble.
Also, Best Buy? For serious? I will have to go check it out!
@lawbee11: Awesome deal on the carseat!!!! I'm a little jealous! hahaha we spent (shipping and everything included) about $279 on the Chicco Keyfit Magic because I just could.not.wait. Shame on me.
@Sapphiresun: haha OH! That is normal! LOL. We (I) have already decided that I want the City Mini, it's only 17ish lbs which is great for me because I'm 5'0", I know it's SUPER easy to fold up, but I'm not sure how *compact* it folds up. I would already have it, but I've been banned from buying anything else by my mom & MIL because "apparently" other people want to buy me stuff too. hahaha oops.
@Mrs D: Oh yea, I totally would have been emotional too!!! Glad it was nice though. Also, I cannot wait to see all our nurseries!!! Yay for getting started! Ours is still an office! eeeeek. lol
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
@Sapphiresun: That sounds amazing! The only thing I REALLY wanted to do in San Francisco was eat, eat, and eat. haha!
As for the stroller, we're debating between the City Select and City Versa. Same frame, only difference is the City Select converts to a double easily should we have #2 in the next 2 years (which we do). The handles adjust to different heights so it fit comfortably for me and the hubby. I'm 5'2" and he's 5'11".
@delight: @Mrs D: Thank you for your kind words.
@Mrs D: Otisspunkmeyer cookies?! OMG!! *drool*. That's so sweet of the receptionist to make you a special welcome platter though!
cherry / 233 posts
@Delight @Lawbee11: I think the snoogle sounds great, but for now I'm just using a regular pillow. We only have a full/double bed so I think a real body pillow would make things pretty crowded!
@Sapphiresun: I'm getting the Britax combo you mentioned. It sounds like that's a pretty popular choice here. DH and I are the same height (5'9"), so we're pretty lucky as far as stroller height goes.
@Mrs D: If I hadn't kept some old, larger jeans around I would have been in them a lot sooner too! And really, why don't all pants have stretchy tops? They are definitely a lot more comfortable! You are WAY ahead of me with your nursery. We moved out all the beer brewing supplies, a desk, and a large bookshelf that used to be in our nursery, and then moved in the dresser that will stay in there, but that's all so far.

@delight: You can get a list of stuff from BRU to help you think of things. Target has a nice list on line too. I looked at Best Buy a few days ago, but it seemed pricey. And yes, bad gas. Also discovered that Materna prenatals keep things moving far better than Jamison (which also tastes like fish food, FYI).
@Mrs D: Glad you aren't flooded out! Heehee - you and your hubby are the same heights as me and mine. And you are so far ahead with the nursery. I am still in awe of you.
@greenebee: I'm glad to hear that you are safe!
@StrawberryBee: Cute pom poms! Isn't it fun to be getting the nursery together!
@Alivoo01: If they caught it early, I have high hopes that your uncle will be ok. But it still sucks.
@.twist.: Happy Birthday. Free crib is awesome!
@lawbee11: Great deal!
@Sapphiresun: We're doing the B-agile/B-safe combo. Just waiting for a sale. I don't knos how compact it folds, but the CityMiniGT has a adjustable handle. Supposed to be nice for tall people.

@Sapphiresun: So jealous of your trip! Sounds like you had a good time! As for strollers, I went with the city mini GT. It's compact, lightweight, and so easy to handle. The handlebar also adjusts to different heights so that might be worth looking into for you and your husband.
@Mrs D: Just read your post and now I'm craving cookies and milk....like bad! lol I have to stop getting used to having something sweet every night. Losing the baby weight will not be easy if I NEED cookies, cake, and ice cream after dinner. Oh well might as well enjoy it for now.
Has anyone done their glucose test yet? Mine is on Friday and I'm not looking forward to hanging out at the lab for an hour. Guess I'll have my HB girls to keep me company.

@skipper2010: My doctor told me that they do it at 28 weeks, so that would be first week of June for me.
