@pregnantbee: exactly! she has been oddly obsessed with having a baby sister lately, and I'm dying to tell her!! But she can't really keep her mouth shut! I'm thinking it probably makes sense to wait until i know the sex to tell her, which might kill me to wait that long!

@pregnantbee: @Pirouette: Without knowing about this pregnancy, earlier this week, my LO drew a picture of our family at school, and included a "baby sister." I'm pretty excited to tell her.

@pwnstar: awwwwww!!!!!! that is the sweetest! I bought LO a big sister shirt but hid it in the closet where no one knows it exists.

9 weeks tomorrow. Definitely the biggest bloat bump I've ever had at 9 weeks pregnant!

@pwnstar: so sweet!!!
We told my parents early on (we always have). Our family was here for Christmas (the only time we see everyone at the same time during the year). So my youngest walked where everyone was standing, wearing a big sister shirt. Everyone was shocked! My oldest and middle child didn't seem too thrilled but they're happy now.
I won't tell anyone else IRL for awhile!

@coopsmama: you're so cute!!!
I texted this to PregnantBee last night I'm not even 8 weeks!! Don't mind my pasty arms. My stomach was so close to being flat during the beginning of December

@HLK208: I should note that is with me sucking my stomach in! You don't want to see it without me sucking it in. It's crazy. I love your bump! I can't believe we're doing this again.

@pregnantbee: @Pirouette: I hadn't thought that they might like to know after the first tri -- something to think about! I don't even trust my own parents to not spill the beans, haha. My uncle totally ratted my cousin out to my dad early in her pregnancy. Then of course my dad told the rest of us but said not to say anything to her yet because we weren't supposed to know. I could see that happening in reverse... We're also going to see my family in person just five days after our NT scan so...might be nice to wait until then! I really want to tell a couple friends here because one is about 7 weeks ahead of me and one had a baby recently...but most of my friends are the wives of my husband's coworkers so I better wait until we're ready for everyone to know.
@Pirouette: That sounds like something my H would do! Actually, at work yesterday I said something really dumb and then I was like, "Wait, never mind..." And my boss, who is pregnant, said, "Haha, that was like a pregnancy brain moment!" I was like, "Hahaha...yeah....so funny..."
@pwnstar: That would be so awesome if you just rolled up pregnant without mentioning it, like, "Hey, what's up?" lol

@pwnstar: That is SOOO sweet!
@Pirouette: I bought DS a Big Brother shirt and had him wear it the other day for some announcement photos. He said he liked the blue shirt -- didn't ask me what it said, and I didn't offer. LOL.

My oldest said he wanted a baby sister like Daniel for Christmas. He doesn't really get it right now. My youngest doesn't have any clue. My family all knows and parts of DH's family know. We will be telling more of his family after my next appointment next week Friday.

We've been trying to teach DS that there's a baby in Mommy's tummy. But when I ask him where the baby is, he'll say in his tummy or in DH's . I don't really care who knows or who figures it out, lol.

@MrsRcCar: Daniel Tiger is (I think) what spurred her obsession with having a baby sister! the only episode of Daniel Tiger she's ever watched was about his baby sister and since then, she cannot stop talking about having a baby sister.
@ShootingStar: my LO thinks babies come from storks because she loves the movie Dumbo. she's gonna be very confused when i start growing a bump!

I am making BBQ pulled pork for dinner in the crockpot. I am having trouble with the smell. I hope it tastes good. I am probably having applesauce for dinner again. I just have to make sure I don't throw up before dinner.

@mrsrccar I made bone broth Sat-Mon am. The house still smelled a little like it when i got home from work on Monday eve. I woke up in the middle of the night thinking I had left it on the stove, it smelled so strongly!! It kept me up for a few hours and my hubby had to go sleep in the other room because of how restless it made me! Now I'm not sure I'll be able to enjoy it. Oh well...I'll just have to freeze it for later.

@JoJoGirl: Did you see the HB on the ultrasound? At my first ultrasound last time with the RE they showed it to us, but we couldn't listen to it because the tech said it actually wasn't good for the baby to do it with the ultrasound (idk why now). I'm excited to see baby for the first time on Monday, and I might break out the doppler again tonight.

@ShootingStar: Yes But after my loss I don't feel all that reassured....

@MrsRcCar: Pre bed rest days I was opening the window each time I cooked, because I just never knew if I was going to tolerate the smell. My family kept complaining because it has been windy and cold. My response...put on a sweatshirt, I am trying to puke over here! I hope by tonight the smell hasn't gotten the best of you and you can enjoy more than applesauce!
Your DH sounds like he has a lot going on, which leaves you holding down the fort solo. I will say some prayers that the HG stays away. I know how debilitating that can be, and it sounds like with his schedule and no family around that could really make things difficult for you. Hang in there momma! I am so hopeful for you that it should have already hit by now!

@JoJoGirl: I don't blame you one bit. Can you ask for a quick one to have some reassurance? My OB is a big softy and will break rules and do a quick peak....

@ShootingStar: Your DS sounds cute! My DD knows there is a baby in mom's tummy but then says she has one in hers too.

@JoJoGirl: I have a very large hemorrhage and I am having contractions. Doc put me on bed rest for two weeks, and progesterone. Baby was still doing ok.... she/he is a fighter, but my body is not cooperating. Doc said 50/50 chance this will work and baby will make it. So for now, I am resting, drinking tons of water, and saying lots of prayers. My kids are hanging with my in laws for the week, and then my mom will come stay here for a week starting on Monday.
