@OldpuebloJenn: when I was pregnant with E I was all about Cherry Pepsi. I can't have High Frutose Corn Syrup so it has to be real sugar soda or diet soda. I hate drinking diet but it's hard to find real sugar soda.

@coopsmama: @mrsrccar: I've been inhaling root beer like it's going out of style! I usually only have it every few months?
@oldpueblojenn: Thank you!
OMG. So I'm still at work today, and one of the volunteers comes over and says hi and "how are you feeling?" and pats her belly and points to mine. !?!?! I didn't tell her I was pregnant! I said, "what? what are you talking about?" She said, "didn't you tell me you're having number 2?" I said, "no. maybe you mean my other coworker??" She's like, "oh."
I felt so badly for lying. I'm sure she'll forgive me later but OMG. Meanwhile, I'm busting out of my disguise since it's late afternoon. The bump has a mind of its own!

@ShootingStar: love your bump!
@pregnantbee: omg awkward! I hate lying too. But it's so inappropriate for anyone to say anything, so that makes me feel less bad lying in response

@coopsmama: nooo! I'm so sorry! But don't feel bad about the Coke. My doctor actually suggested flat Coke when I was throwing up all the time with my second. With my third, Diet Coke was the only fluid I could keep down! My doctor was happy about that and said it was better than being dehydrated. I hope you start feeling better!

@ShootingStar: you look great! Seeing everyone post their bumps makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who's popped!
pineapple / 12234 posts
@pregnantbee: when you tell everyone at work, you should play it off like you didn't know "You were right! I WAS pregnant!" Hahaha

@HLK208: you look great! The evening bloat is just insane. I'm not kidding you, my belly was peaking out of a t shirt last night. Seriously? I'm 9 weeks!

Story of my life these days... happy weekend, all, hope it's a great one!

@Silva: @pregnantbee: @Pirouette: thanks!! It's crazy!
@MrsSCB: hahaha!

@HLK208: Wow! The difference between night and day is crazy. I'm new to this bump idea and can't even imagine who it works. I have no bump in sight. You are absolutely adorable - both day and night. I love your bump!
pineapple / 12234 posts
@agold: thank you!! With my first, I didn't have a bump until 16 weeks! By 20 weeks, it was about the size that my bloat bump was last night.
grapefruit / 4045 posts
@HLK208: It's amazing how much the body can change. And anyhow, you really don't have too much of a bump in your morning picture above. On a different note, you have such pretty brown hair. I was trying to look at your little profile picture and it looks like you have two little blondie girls. Is your husband blond?
pineapple / 12234 posts
@agold: thank you!! My husband has dark blond hair so we were suprised that both of our daughters were so blond! My son is a brunette though (the one that I'm kissing in my profile picture)

2nd+ time moms.. How do you get your little ones to be careful near your bump? DS is 20 months old and I'm not sure how much he understands but he does understand "no" or "don't do that". However he insists on jumping on my tummy. I've never discouraged it before so it's like a game to him and he loves falling asleep on top of me, but now that there's a human inside of me I'm so fearful! Is LO well enough protected in there or is this something I need to nip firmly in the bud?
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@Glitter: I'm having the same problem. We haven't told anything to DS yet so he doesn't understand the reason why. I just keep asking him to be gentle and not jump on me. I'd imagine his jumping on you won't feel very good even if baby 2 is safe in there. Might as well get him to stop it now?
grapefruit / 4712 posts
@Glitter: my second little turned out ok even with N hopping on my belly. I am hoping to discourage it more with both boys this time around. Right now I move away from their jumps because I also have a bladder infection causing me pain. Your LO is well protected in there.
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@Glitter: baby is well protected! I don't have a bump yet so this isn't a problem for me yet, but I have been trying to keep her from lying on my chest. It's hard without telling her why, but I've just been saying "mommy doesn't feel great, can you lie here instead?"

Hope you're all having a good weekend. Is anyone else super impatient to find out what you're having? I can't believe we were Team Green last time!
cantaloupe / 6017 posts
@pregnantbee: I'm like the perfect candidate for team green. Its one of the only things I don't really care about knowing! I mean, I'm excited to find out when the baby is born, but I don't really spend a lot of time thinking about it or wondering about it!
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@Silva: I think I'm more nervous about confirming the baby is healthy. I really don't care either way what we're having -- I just hope he or she is healthy! I really do want to know what sets of names to start focusing on, and I want to be able to bond more
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@pregnantbee: I'm dying to confirm baby is healthy. Still 3 more weeks till my first appt, it's agony!!
the headaches have hit with full force today. I only remember a few headaches last time, I really hope this doesn't become a thing for me! I caved and took a Tylenol because I literally could not cope without. I'm also so cranky because all I wanna do is lie on the couch and my kid is so full of energy!

@pregnantbee: meeeeee! We are so curious! I feel like so many pregnant people have told me, "I'm convinced I'm having a boy/girl," but I have no intuition whatsoever. No idea. Bad mom! haha
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@MrsSCB: Haha. I have NO idea this time. Last time, I had 3 distinct dreams that it was a girl. We had a boy. So clearly I can't listen to me no matter what. I can say that this pregnancy feels the same as last time, so if we only went based on that, I guess boy. I've had no dreams about the baby.

Updated with the Team Greens I can find (found 3 -- I thought there were more??). Please let me know if I've missed you or if anything else has changed.

@pregnantbee: We were TG last time, but will be finding out this time! It was amazing to hear "it's a girl!", but this time we think it will help to prepare DD if we know ahead of time.

@pregnantbee: I'm always wrong when I guess for other people, too. I'm just not good at the gender guessing game, lol.
grapefruit / 4045 posts
@pregnantbee: I'm leaning towards team green. I really want to be team green. The only thing I worry about is planning the nursery. I was thinking I could just do a neutral nursery and have a few gender specific items picked out that i can order once the baby is born. But husband has said a couple of times that he might like to find out early. So I just don't know what we will do.
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@agold: You still have tons of time to decide. We did a neutral nursery. You can always pick up some things after baby is here. Though....there's been a space over his crib/now bed where I've meant to put his name for 3.5 years. Oops!

I am like on the edge of my seat in anticipation for the gender! Tomorrow's my first appointment and I'm totally going to ask which side the placenta's on for the Ramzi theory. We'll be doing the MT21 test in 2 weeks so we'll find out relatively soon regardless.
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@ShootingStar: I'm waiting on pins and needles for the results from the test I took last week. One of the other brands. I'm supposed to hear as soon as Tues. and maybe as late as Fri. Eek! Good luck at your first appointment!
