Location: Rochester NY
EDD: 12/1
How far along: 5-6 ish weeks
First child? #2! I have a 13 month old son, B
First doctor appointment: 4/15 for a dating ultrasound
Any symptoms so far? Nausea and exhaustion, and some food aversions. I wasn't nauseous with #1 so this is new to me!
Who have you told? My husband, my best friend, and our employees (we own a business that requires a lot of cleaning/ chemicals so I told them for safety reasons). We are announcing to our families on Mother's Day if all is well!

Can't believe I'm about to do this baby thing all over again!!!! :0

I'll post here when I get more info. But according to online calculators I'm due early December!

First child? Yes!

First doctor appointment: April 20 for ultrasound. Then will schedule first doctor appointment.

Any symptoms so far?

- feeling full and hungry at the same time
- slowed digestion
- tender breaststroke
- backache
- dull cramping

Who have you told?
Husband
Younger brother

Will tell mother on Mothers Day, rest of family and close friends week 12. And everyone else in June.

Any symptoms so far? Sore breasts and super tired
Who have you told? husband, mom, and of course the bee.

Cautiously joining as well. I've had a couple losses already while trying for #2 but I'm really hoping that the third one is the charm.

How far along: 5w3d (I think)

First child? No, I have a DD who is 2.5

First doctor appointment: May 13, although hoping to get an u/s before then if I can convince them

Any symptoms so far? Yes, exhaustion since the beginning and I've been alternating between being starving and not wanting to eat anything. Nausea started yesterday (hoping it stays mild).

Who have you told? DH and my dad (and you guys!). We will probably not tell anyone else until we have a good scan.

My u/s got moved up to tomorrow from
Friday because I've been spitting. Positive thoughts, please

@catlady: had a good scan today! they did push my due date out a few days to dec 6, but they saw a little heartbeat, yay!

My scan is next Monday!! UGH I can't wait!

Half of me wants to tell my mother because I feel nauseous and miserable and just want my "mommy".

The other half of me wants to wait until Mothers Day to tell her. It's baby #1, she also tends to be a big-mouth and can't keep a secret. Mother's Day should be 10 weeks for us, so I'd feel better about miscarriage chances by then.

GAH! I don't know!

@stiletto_mom: Ooh tough. I told my dad already but I know he won't tell anyone. We are not telling MIL and SIL yet because last time, one of them definitely told DH's grandparents and then forgot to tell them we lost the baby afterwards, and it was horrible and awkward for me when, weeks after my D&C, they asked if I knew yet if I was having a boy or a girl. If you can bear it, I might wait.

@catlady: Hey! Location and date twin!! Where about in MA are you? I'm starting to look around for an OB and I have no idea what I'm doing. Any local recommendations? Do I just look for one at a hospital near me where I plan to go to give birth?

AFM... I had some crazy bleeding last Friday so I went in for some blood and early u/s on Monday (they couldn't fit me in Friday) All was still good, betas were perfect with doubling time 1.8 days and we saw the little blob with yolk measuring right on schedule. I've had some more bleeding/spotting the last few days, but RE is telling me this is completely normal, and many bees over in IVF thread have given me a lot of reassurance as well, so it doesn't freak me out as much now. Looking forward to my scan next Wed and then will hopefully be telling DH's parents at 8 weeks when they fly up to visit.

@PurplePumps: Hey! I'm in Cambridge. I'd check your insurance first and see which hospitals are covered, chose one of those, and then try to find an OB that is associated with the one you chose. I used MGH and have had good experiences all around, but I also know lots of people who have used the Brigham or Mount Auburn and liked them. That is scary about your bleeding but I'm glad everything is looking ok!

@stiletto_mom: Good luck for your scan! I get so nervous for mine too, every time.

Hi everyone, I'm also cautiously joining. It's been 10months TTC#1 and this was cycle #5 since my MC.

Location: New Zealand

EDD: 31 December 2016

How far along: 3W6D I'm also really early!

First child? Yes.

First doctor appointment: AF is due on Sunday, so I will test again to make sure line is getting darker and I will wait until next week before I make one.

Any symptoms so far? Dull 'cramps' since 7DPO and boobs are getting tender today.

Who have you told? My partner and my best-friend (who is 30 weeks pregnant! - we were due the same month!) We will tell our families after the 12 week scan. If I miscarry, I'll let them know then, but I don't want them to worry.

I'm not worried at all and I don't want to be scared. I just want to enjoy this little bean for as long or as little time I have
