Is anyone celebrating Mother's Day, for themselves?
I'm only 6.5 weeks, but I have a feel DH has something for me tomorrow.
I kind of feel silly though, are you 'allowed' to celebrate when you're pregnant?

How is everyone feeling? I am so tired. This is much rougher than my first two pregnancies. Probably has something to do with the two toddlers running around now

@keepcalmcarrie: I'm so tired I'm currently resting my head on my desk as I type. I hope nobody walks in.
Also, my eating habits have gone out the window. I go from feeling super nauseous to starving in about 2 minutes. So I can't really plan my meals. I didn't feel hungry until just now, and it's 4:30. I don't even know what to eat. (I am eating the chips I found in my drawer- I feel disgusting).

@keepcalmcarrie: I'm doing ok. I'm still on diclegis so I'm probably more tired than usual but the nausea and gagging has been kept mostly at bay. I still feel sick at night (that's when it's the worst) but I can get through my work day, thankfully.
One thing it hasn't helped with though is my insane hunger and cravings for junk. I've already gained the 5 pounds allowed in first tri and I'm just shy of 10 weeks. I started at a much higher weight this pregnancy too so I feel like I really need to start watching myself. Hopefully I won't feel as sick soon so I won't feel the urge to eat such crappy stuff all the time.

I started 20lbs heavier this pregnancy than my last pregnancy. I'm tired all the time! I have my ultrasound tomorrow.

I've been feeling super tired and so thankful I WFH.
Today though I hit a new kind of exhaustion. I feel like I got hit by a truck. Every muscle in my body hurts.
Wonder if it's a flu or cold coming on.
And just like @marley I can't plan meals because I'm either starving or wanting to puke. There's no in between

@ocean81: me too! I often forget that I am! Looking forward to my ultrasound to hopefully make it a little more real.

I'm out. They couldn't find a heartbeat and it was measuring over a week behind today. It'll be back for a 5th retrieval when my RE says I'm good to go, and a bfp by the end of the year is my best hope now.

@PurplePumps: I'm sorry.
I had my ultrasound today, and it looks good so far. I'm just over 8 weeks.

@PurplePumps: Oh no. I'm so sorry about your loss. Please take care of yourself. I hope you get your rainbow soon.

Hi ladies! I haven't been very active, I have been very anxious since finding out I was pregnant but we had our first ultrasound yesterday at 6w5d and everything looks great! So I feel like I can breathe a little easier.
I had my intake appointment with the nurse at my OB's office last week (which I felt was kind of dumb, this is my second baby. I learned nothing new).
I have my first appointment with the OB on the 24th. Morning sickness has hit pretty hard the last couple of days. I've been running to the bathroom and dry heaving at least once an hour. Luckily I am keeping food down but I just feel gross.

@wheres_c: @Pumpkin Pie: add another one to the list. I started 20lbs heavier too. I gained almost 60lbs with my last pregnancy, I am determined to not gain that much this time!

@renee0106: When is your appt? Mine isn't until the 31st. ugh! I didn't feel sick with my daughter, but atleast my boobs hurt. This time... nothing! Maybe I'm extra tired, but that is probably just the 1 year old!
@KT326: Congrats on a great scan!

@ocean81: mines the 19th. So just about a week. Hopefully time goes by fast for both of us!

@KT326: Congrats on the scan! I hear you on the useless appointments. I'm on my 5th pregnancy and was still required to do the nurse intake call.

@PurplePumps: I am so sorry to hear this! I hope you recover well, and have amazing luck at your next retrieval

I had my scan today. She couldn't find the fetal pole or the heartbeat. I should be at least 7 weeks today. She took blood and will call me tomorrow with the betas, but it's not looking good. I saw the yolk sac a week and a half ago at the RE office. My only hope is a tilted uterus and they will somehow find the baby in two weeks, or that my OB has a really crappy old machine. Unlikely though.

@marley: Oh no, so sorry you are going through this. I hope it ends up working out for you. Hugs.

Jumping in...
Location: MN
EDD: 12/4ish (long story...but if I go with the dating u/s measurements, then we DTD on O-7, which seems a little ridiculous...so I'm sticking with 12/4 until we get a later measurement!)
How far along: 10 weeks
First child? 3rd
First doctor appointment: Had a dating u/s & NP visit at 7 weeks; meet with the OB next week.
Any symptoms so far? Afternoon nausea, fatigue
Who have you told? Lots of family and friends, but generally won't share it publicly until 1st tri screening
pomelo / 5789 posts
@marley: I hope that there is some sort of dating problem. My fingers are crossed for a good outcome.
kiwi / 706 posts
@wheres_c: @catlady: @MrsDragon: thanks, guys. Probably not a dating problem. I had an ultrasound confirming ovulation. My hcg level was over 160,000 yesterday. They should've seen everything by now. I'm going for another scan today at the hospital to rule out twins.

@marley: Oh my goodness. I hope today's scan goes well. What a roller coaster.
pomegranate / 3438 posts
@marley: was it a transvaginal ultrasound or a regular one? Hopefully the one at the hospital today is better!
kiwi / 706 posts
@KT326: TV. My RE is surprised that the OB didn't schedule a follow up scan and is pushing me into taking misoprostol so soon (tomorrow afternoon or Monday). She wants to scan me tomorrow as a second opinion.
pomegranate / 3438 posts
@marley: What! Your OB didn't schedule a follow up?! That is insane, especially with your HCG numbers. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that.
ETA: I read your response too fast and see that you are going back to your RE.
kiwi / 706 posts
@KT326: it's crazy, right? I mean, I know she's seen it all, but I just feel rushed a bit.
pomegranate / 3438 posts
@marley: I hope your next scan is better. Hopefully she just didn't look hard enough with your tilted uterus.
kiwi / 706 posts
@KT326: the hospital tech found a heartbeat! Measuring at 8w1d, about 4-7 days bigger than expected. I'm so mad at my OB! Glad I didn't go and abort my healthy baby!
