@indi: That's awesome, congrats on a good scan!
And totally, my DH thinks I am exaggerating. He told me I need to stop reading about symptoms because I am bringing them on myself. Pffft.
And I think he thinks I exaggerate when I say I can't do something because I feel nauseous. I wish he could spend one day in my body.
He's really not being bad/jerky about it. Just gives me a little bit of a look sometimes.

@Danizaur: No. cooking any meat around a pregnant woman in her first trimester is a grievous offense!
@IcebergMom: Your girl is SO cute!
@citymouse: We decline all testing, besides the anatomy scan at 20 weeks.
Thanks everyone for the kind words yesterday. The IV needle was so big, they had to numb my hand before placing it! Pumped me full of 3 liters of fluid and some IV zofran in 2.5 hours. I was FREEZING! I have been giving zofran a try this time, even though last time it didn't work, and I feel SO MUCH BETTER. Now the goal is to stay hydrated and stay on top of zofran doses. I still am queasy, gag, have food aversions, but this must be more like what normal MS is like, haha!

@erinpye: yay! I'm so glad you feel better. That is a lot of fluid!!!

@erinpye: that sounds like MS to me!! I gag all day haha. Glad that something is working for you!! Also hope it goes away sooner than last time!

I really want to thank all of you for your kind words, prayers, and thoughts. You are truly awesome. Sadly, there was no heartbeat to be found at our ultrasound today. It looks like the baby stopped growing about a week ago. I sobbed my face off all morning, but feel better now. Thank you all again for everything. I wish nothing but the healthiest pregnancies and babies for everyone!!

@Springtime: wow that is the craziest U/S we've seen yet!!! Is that a 3/4D?? Did you opt for that or is it what your doc always uses?
Glad it went well

@SweetiePie: I know! So crazy looking! My dr always does them this way- 3D!!

@Springtime: aw that's cool I just told DH early today we should get a 3d scan later on but we definitely have to pay for it which I think run $150

@BlueberryPie: I am so sorry to read your news. The same thing happened to me at the beginning of the year. I went in for my first heartbeat scan sometime during my 7th week. Doc said I measured 5w5d so too early for a heartbeat but everything looked great. I told her that was impossible and she said I might have counted wrong. So, I went back 5 days later and there was still nothing.
I opted for a medical rather than surgical procedure. I don't know if you have been given those options. You can send me a message if you want to talk further. Hugs. It sucks, I know.

@Springtime: WHOA! They do 3D U/S that early? Crazy but so cool looking!!

Ok I just took a 3.5 hour "nap" and I'm still tired. I wonder why today is so different than any other day. Usually I get through the day without a nap or I can take a quick one hour. Weird!
I'm going to ask my doc about Zantac too. This acidic burning in my tummy is nonstop and torturous.

@BlueberryPie: I don't have many words for you, because I just don't know what to say. Nothing seems like enough, but I'm sending lots of love your way.

Just checking in, I've been away for the last week on conference and visiting my sister. Battling stereotypically boozey conference dinners and long distance driving (by the time I got home today, I'd done 1340 kms) with a pregnant bladder was interesting. On the bright side, I got to visit quite a few small NZ villages while using the public restrooms!
I did get to tell my sister face-to-face though, which was fun! Even though we're not telling a lot of people yet, we decided (especially seeing it's the first baby in the family) that we couldn't pass up the situation of me being down there
I finally feel like some of the lethargy is lifting... Or maybe I'm having a good couple of days! It'll probably come back to bite me in the bum now that I've said that.
