February 2014 Babies!

Hi girls. So looks like I'm moving from this board to the 2 miscarriages board. No heartbeat today. Looks like it stopped almost 2 weeks ago.
I think what is so hard is that I feel I can't trust my body. In all other ways it feels and looks pregnant. I'm peeing constantly and my boobs are still huge heavy and sore. I still have the nausea and heartburn. It's just so disappointing to think things are going well to have this happen again.
Anyway, my time here with you has been fun and I'm still excited to hear about your experiences and see your little babies in 6-7 months
    Love to all

@SweetiePie: Oh friend, I am so sorry to hear this. You have been such a positive, wonderful person to have on these boards and my heart breaks for what you're going through. I wish there were words to make things easier but as there aren't, just know I'm thinking of you and sending lots of love your way. You will get your sticky baby soon, I am sure of it, and we'll all be here cheering you on.

@ElbieKay: Thanks my fellow NYC mama. Now you'll have to be my source of advice on SLR for the future:-)

@MrsKoala: Awww thanks. Don't worry about me, I'll be ok. It's still new but it'll get easier.

I have my D&C scheduled for next weds. My doc said this shouldn't be happening twice in a row so she wants to do testing. I'm thankful that she is being proactive and I don't have to ask and worry I sound silly.

Gah, sorry to be a Debbie downer on this happy board. I just feel like I know you ladies now and you understand (somewhat). to all!

@SweetiePie: I love your doc for being so proactive and helping to make things easier this whole time for you I hope the testing gives you the answers you guys need to be on the way to bring home a beautiful healthy baby my prayers will stay with you guys

@SweetiePie: Sounds good, I will keep you posted!

I had a missed MC in January, though I found out a bit sooner (7 weeks). It sucks. I'm glad to hear your doc is being proactive.

@ElbieKay: Yeah it's awful. My first one we found out around 7.5 weeks though I was only measuring 5w6d. I have to say that while I don't trivialize what we went through at 7 weeks, it's so much harder now that I was 11-ish weeks (for me at least). I started to let my guard down and tell people. Stupid stupid stupid.
Third times a charm? We'll see. The good difference this time is that I feel like I could try again right away. Last time people would say to me "well at least you can try again right away" and I'd be like "are you nuts?!?!" I had no desire emotionally or physically to be pregnant again. It took till April or May for me to be ready (from January 21st).

Gosh I have such love for all you ladies. You really take the sting away (a little )

@SweetiePie: I'm so so sorry to hear about this. I wish you all the best over the next few weeks/months. Before you know it you'll be back on these boards. My mc was last November. It's hard but you'll be back.

@SweetiePie: My cousin did have 2 losses before her 3rd pregnancy resulted in a healthy baby (I know one of them was a missed mc after seeing a heartbeat). Don't give up hope, lovely. You are one strong woman, and I'm so glad your doc is great about being proactive and helping you guys get to the bottom of this. Please do continue to stop by, as long as it's something you feel you can do, because we you around here.

Thought I would post my nuchal scan photo at 11 weeks 5 days. Everything looked good, and I'm already convinced my baby is cute. ;). I was hoping to get definitive results on gender and chromosomal defects through that new blood test I did (Maternit21) but there wasn't enough circulating fetal dna so we have to redo it and wait another two weeks!

@SweetiePie: I just wanted to pop in and say that our "third time's the charm baby" is sitting pretty in my belly at 4+4. So, since you had to be a part of the 2+ m/c club, I hope you (and I!) can join and stay in the third time's the charm club, too

@raintreebee: So cute! I can tell already! Crazy how much they grow between 10-11 weeks. My ten week ultrasound still looked kind of like a bean, but yours is all baby!

    @raintreebee: cute pic! Mine's on the 13th, can't wait!

Stressed out a little bit this morning... Jumped on the scales and I'm 300g lighter than I was pre-preg. I've actually dropped a kilo since I weighed myself a couple of weeks ago. All the research that I've done (thanks Dr. Google) has said it's okay, especially seeing as I started out with a BMI of over 30 and I'm eating properly. Phew! I just thought I'd post that info here in case anyone else is stressing out.

Go figure that the only time in my life where I can eat what I want and lose weight is while pregnant...

@raintreebee: aw cutie pie already I'm so ready for Tuesday for our scan.

@SweetiePie: @LovelyPlum: I hope the third time really is the charm I'm in that club too but I must admit the first mc was when I was 15 (I was a bad girl) but it was so long ago til I hardly think about it these days and this pregnancy is going good so far the first was around 6 weeks and the second was around 7weeks and now I'm at 12w2d and I feel this is the one so good luck ladies

@raintreebee: Aww! So cute! Congrats on having a great scan! It blows me away just how much they look like a proper baby, even though they're only a few inches long! Yay for Baby Raintree!

@raintreebee: wow that really looks like a baby. I didn't realise they did the nuchal scan so early. I'm 10 weeks 4 days so I just had my blood test for it done. My ultrasound isn't scheduled until I'm 13 weeks. (13 weeks 6 days to be exact as the lady only works Tuesdays). Driving me mental. I want to see my baby and be able to start telling people.... Also really I just want the second trimester goodness to take over the first trimester misery...

  33. SweetMamaM

    pear / 1743 posts

@Mrs Music: amen to that! Mine's scheduled for 12+2, and I'll be doing my blood test tomorrow at 11+1. They can sometimes take a while to come back with the results but I am just ready for this secret to be out in the open!

OK, it's been a week and I have decided that I am officially tired of waiting for my T21 results, as well as my husband's genetic test results. The next week is going to be a killer wait.

@ElbieKay: Hoping you get your results early this week and that all is well!

AFM, does anyone feel worse??? My nausea was horrible over the weekend and I'm really concerned. It's really effing with my head.

    pomegranate / 3231 posts

@MrsKoala: I was SO tired yesterday. My husband had a ton of energy and wanted to go for a hike. I made him pick a flat trail, quit before the final uphill stretch, and slept the entire way home in the car.

  39. MrsKoala

    cantaloupe / 6869 posts

@ElbieKay: Not that I'm happy you are tired but it's nice to know I'm not the only one who is still struggling! And it's especially frustrating because everyone keeps telling me that feeling better is just around the corner. I hate to complain here so I won't write anything more.

@ElbieKay: @MrsKoala: Im still pretty sleepy too!

Strangest thing for me recently... Eating Lemons and Limes right before bed. I crave them! I eat one or two 1/4 size slices and go back for more!
