Also I still feel like I'm missing mamas from the list. I know we had a couple of new mamas join just recently. Make sure to chime in with your due date, what you're having, or if you're team green and the date you'll find out the sex if you haven't already.

@indi: Oh is that what those are for. Im still learning the lingo on here too. If anybody is up to giving me a crash course I would surely appreciate it

@Danizaur: of course you know I'm and my EDD is feb 13th I'm hoping he comes on the 14th so him and my youngest niece can share that day

@littleblessings: I just suggested that on this thread as a little key.
If you type : bfp : w/o spaces, you get the positive test sign . If it's bfn, that's the sign for negative test.
: heart : makes the heart
, and there are happy, sad, and winky signs. I just suggested the
for boys bc it's blue, and the
is pink for girls

@indi: Thank you.
I am currently reading back from the beginning of this thread. Is anybody else still keeping quiet about their pregnancy or is everyone out about it?

@Danizaur: You're so awesome for keeping us all organised! I love it! My due date is Feb 4th and as you already noted, we're TG!
I love that we're half blue, half pink, and a hearty sprinkling of green! Feb is going to be such a fun month once these babies start appearing!

@citymouse: Thinking of you and hoping all turns out well for your baby! From what I've read, this is actually pretty common and usually means absolutely nothing - hoping that's the case for your LO and all turns out well! Oh and yes, full frontal shots of baby are NOT sweet and endearing! They actually freak me out a bit! We didn't get any at our anatomy scan, thank goodness, but I have a whole bunch from the 13 week scan. The profile shots are so much cuter!

@littleblessings: I've been obviously pregnant to strangers since weeks 8-10, so after our u/s on week 9 and then a strong heartbeat again at our 13wk appointment we put it on fb. There's no hiding it now at 19wks! Lol.
pear / 1739 posts
@indi: Well im 21 weeks now and still able to hide it. I think the ab workouts I did after S was born helps to hide it easier. If I use my muscles you cant even tell I am pregnant. If im lazy then its pretty obvious. Im carrying rather low too so that helps since most women have that little pudge on their lower abdomen.

@littleblessings: I told my close family at 8 weeks and put it on fb at 12

Just bought my 13 month old LO a couple shirts for halloween next year. They say "I met the boogeyman (he's my brother)" and "will trade brother for candy" Thought they were super cute

@Honeygold89: I told my fiance the day I found out which was also his graduation day. Needless to say I didn't buy him anything else. I think that was a good enough graduation present. My matron of honor found out that day too after i got a
She took the other test and got a
too. This is our second pregnancy together as friends.

How did you tell your SO about you being pregnant? How did you tell others?
nectarine / 2527 posts
@littleblessings: yeah of course DH found out soon as the test showed positive I called him as soon as it popped up it was like 10am and he was at work and I just told family and showed my 6 week US but at 12 weeks I put up my NT scan US in fb but I seen that shirt about the boogeyman I thought it was too cute

@Honeygold89: Was he in the room at it was "seasoning" ? (got that from JUNO) Or did you tell him after the result? I'm interested.
I couldn't even talk when I got I walked up to him shaking and flipped the test over to show him.

@Honeygold89: I was due the 14th and my mom was excited for a Valentine's baby...I arrived Jan. 21! You just never know!
nectarine / 2527 posts
@littleblessings: he was at work when I took it and that morning before he went I told him I didn't think it worked that month cause I didn't feel pregnant and when he left for work I went back to sleep and had a dream about taking a test and it was positive so when I woke back up I took one and it was so I called him immediately!
@erinpye: aw I so hope he comes on the 14th but if not that's fine but I definitely hope he doesn't come in Jan cause that's my mom's month and I don't want another Capricorn since me and my mom both are Capricorns lol

@Honeygold89: That is awesome. Ive only had dreams of what the baby's sex was. Never a pregnancy test. But just so happens when I was pregnant with my daughter I had dreams I had a son. While I've been pregnant with this one which is a boy I was dreaming I had a girl. Lol
nectarine / 2527 posts
@littleblessings: I dream all the time even before pregnancy but all the way up til I found out what he was I dreamed I was having a girl
pear / 1739 posts
@Honeygold89: Lol. Dreams are pretty funny. I had a feeling that this one would be a boy since I was dreaming about girls and sure enough I was right.

@littleblessings: We told everyone after the NT scan went well but didn't announce on Facebook. We just told people in person when we could and called the others and told them. No grand reveals or anything like that.

We just made our pregnancy "Facebook official" last night after our u/s appt...it was about time there is no denying the fact that I'm sporting a bump.
pear / 1739 posts
As soon as I get the keys to the apartment I'm announcing it to the world. I can't wait. I'm number 2 on the wait list. =)

Our list is almost complete! Can you imagine when all these dates actually GET HERE? It doesn't seem like they ever will!
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
@littleblessings: I blabbed to close friends and family immediately...then made it public (FB) at 10 weeks after our first ultrasound! I couldn't keep a secret. Lol
@littleblessings: DH told me not to test until Friday (day AF was due) because he didn't want me to get a false negative. Well I woke up on Tuesday morning after he went to work and went for it...and PREGNANT immediately popped up on the digi. I texted him and told him to call me on his first break...and when he did he immediately knew what was up. He was so excited.
@Honeygold89: I hope LO comes on his due date...it's actually my late great grandmothers 100th birthday!

Sorry I haven't been responding! I'm in the Boston airport now heading home to Canada. Great vacation and my 2 yo LO loved it! Visited the children's museum, aquarium and (I think) every playground in he city! We took the in-laws so DH and I had some alone time too (as did they.)
Anyways... Due date Feb 24! And my first ultrasound is Monday!!!! Yay! (We're slowpokes in Canada)

@Danizaur: we're a bit sneaky sneaky here, we're finding out next week but won't be announcing until the baby shower in Dec
@littleblessings: I am pretty much out (all family and friends know) but haven't gone out of my way to tell most of the teachers and students I work with. I think I'm probably similar to you in that I'm carrying low and relatively small. As we say down here in New Zealand, I just look like I "ate all the pies!".
I gave my DH a digital pregnancy test wrapped up in a Lakers onesie... Even though we were obviously trying, he was still surprised!

@SweetMamaM: Are you going to let Hellobee know when you find out or after you make the announcement at the baby shower?
pear / 1743 posts
@Danizaur: after the baby shower announcement - too many of my friends are mums-to-be or new mums to risk spilling the beans on here beforehand. You never know who's lurking
grapefruit / 4819 posts
@SweetMamaM: Ah no!!!! You're making us wait until December?!! :-(. So suspenseful... You know, you could just write a gold post on everyone's wall telling us, then no one would see but you and the person whose wall you posted on. Just some food for thought! ;-). Hehe, totally kidding, December isn't too far away now!
nectarine / 2527 posts
@Danizaur: the list looks lovely and that would be a nice day for your LO to be born
pear / 1739 posts
So I think the person not supposed to know about the pregnancy, already knows.... Not sure what to think but I am not saying anything. Lol
