Saw LO today and heard the heartbeat. Amazing to see the little arms and legs moving.
Next appointment with OB is July 22. NT screening probably sometime before then. So we will get in at least one more time before we announce at the end of July

I have another lab draw on the 26th & have my first official OB appointment (paper work & heartbeat) on July 10th. DH is going with me so hopefully we will have sucess

I've been MIA for a little bit, my computer was broken. Anyway we had our second ultrasound today, our NT scan. Everything is looking good, the baby was moving around it was so exciting. Next u/s August 19th to find out the gender!

@wahine08: Yeah my doctor scheduled my next 5 appointments. I thought it was really early to be scheduling but I guess they wanted to make sure to get me in at the right times, so I had my NT scan, my 12 week appt, 16 week appt, gender u/s, and 20 week appt all scheduled.

Is anyone else not getting the NT scan? I initially decided not to, but now I'm worried I should have....

@MamaBehr: I'm not getting nt scan either! The only reason I would've gotten it is for an extra ultrasound. Lol. I don't really care to know the results because it would've just stressed me out if it turned out positive.

@mamabehr: originally DH and I had decided not to have the NT scan because it wouldn't make a difference either way to us, but after thinking on it a little more and with the idea that more knowledge will actually help me to worry less we are going to have it done. We decided to do the universal genetic screening which like screens for every possible genetic syndrome so why not just do them all. I think what ever feels right for you.

@MamaBehr: DH and I were originally going to do it. Like @abbydabbydoodlebug, I just wanted another scan but then I started thinking about all the worry over false postives and false negatives.. I'm just a worrywart and it wouldn't make a difference for us so we're skipping it. I was really on the fence though, so definitely talk it through and see if it's a good option for you!

@Emsmems: Just wanted to let you know that I can be removed from the due date list. We went in last week at what should have been 11 weeks, there was no heartbeat and baby stopped growing at 9 weeks 1 day. We had no idea anything was wrong. I had a D&C on Tuesday. This is my first miscarriage and I was naive in thinking I was safe since I already had a son. I did have a blood clot in my arm about a month ago so they are looking into that before we get cleared to try again so it will likely be a bit.

@ABBYDABBYDOODLEBUG @WAHINE08 I'm a huge huge worrywart, so it is probably for the best that I didn't as well. One of my good friends is due a week before me, and she had to get the genetic testing done (due to her age) and now she is so freaked out. That would be me.

I have ANOTHER nurse appt on 7/5. This is for my prenatal physical (which I've never heard of! Anyone have Kaiser??) and they will do a doppler that appt.
I feel like I've been spoiled with U/S and am bummed my next one won't be until August for the gender scan!!

We had our first ultrasound on Friday and saw little baby. Everything looks good and my next appointment is July 11th!

We had our first real appointment this morning! Got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat - so, so exciting.
I measured pretty small, so they pushed our due date back by almost a week. So, my new due date is 1/29 - kind of a bummer to have to go back, but the 29th is mine and my husband's dating anniversary, so it's kind of cool!
My next appointment is on July 18th, and we scheduled our anatomy scan for August 30th - SO excited about that!!

Yuck. The Dr. Office hasn't called back with my labs yet. I guess I've been spoiled with having same day reaults that this is just driving me crazy!

It sucks that you have to push your due date back by a week. I was bummed when mine got pushed back a few days.

2nd appointment today! It was pretty uneventful, heard the heartbeat (but she didn't tell me what it was)! The heartbeat wasn't as exciting as I thought it was going to be, because I bought a fetal heart rate monitor for home so I have heard it alot hahaha. I had to bring my other two kids, and luckily they were fantastic! (My three year old kept asking questions, the most entertaining one was what the hazardous waste garbage can was for haha). Next appointment is July 24!

I had an emergency ultrasound today due to increased HCG levels (500000+). The nurse said it was either a molar pregnancy or twins. We didn't think twins were an option so we went into the appointment terrified we had lost our baby & came out having two healthy babies! We got to see them move & saw the heart beat. One was a little smaller but not by much & they both measured on time for 8+6. Baby 1 is bigger with a higher heat beat of 180 & Baby 2 has a heart beat of 170. The tech wasn't worried about the high heart rate or the difference in the babies.

Just went to the doctor for a 11w checkup. Heard the baby's heartbeat on the Doppler. Registering at 160 bps. Next appointment on 7/3. It will be an ultrasound for the NT scan.
My 15 week checkup is on 7/25.

Can I add myself to the list? I'm due 1/4. We had our first appointment with ultrasound @ 8w and we got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat! I got to hear the heartbeat again at my 11w appointment.
It's taken us 2 years and 1 miscarriage to get this far, so I get paranoid every so often that something is going to go wrong. Hearing the heartbeat is so reassuring.
Next appointment is 7/23 and I'm counting the days until I can hear baby's heartbeat again
