@MrsH: Will you be 20w? At first I was totally ok with waiting until 20w to find out, but now at 15w.. I'm like UGH over a MONTH to go still?? haha

FINALLY got to hear a heartbeat! He only looked for one because its to early to find both (personally I think he was just trying to cut things short) but the one we heard was a healthy 156!
I go see a specialist, the same Dr. that did my first U/S, tomorrow. Nothing major but the nurse there said they would probably do an U/S & then do an exam. Sounds like its standard procedure there. Sooooo I may get to see my babies again tomorrow!!!! DH wont be able to be with me & I feel a little guilty about getting to see them with out him. Depending on this appointment my Dr. said I would come back in 4 weeks for another check up & the following week we would do another U/S & find out genders. I'll give dates once I know more.
I really hope if I get a U/S tomorrow that the tech doesn't try and guess. It's way to early for that & I want DH to be there when we find out.
ETA: BTW I balled my eyes out when we heard the heartbeat. Its amazing how much love you can have for someone you haven't even met.

Totally jealous! DH hasn't even been to an appointment with me yet (we did this with our second as well) and will probably only come to the 20 week ultrasound. It's nice your husband can make almost all the appointments. I had my appointment today, nothing exciting. Heard the heartbeat, can't do a "family centered c-section," plugged ears are normal, and my next appointment is August 21. I don't have my 20 week ultrasound set up yet, but it will hopefully be before the 21st. And, I'm quit disgusted with myself, gained 7 lbs in a MONTH! Luckily the doctor didn't lecture me about it (my old one would have), and I don't need a lecture because that won't happen again!

@Sugar.Biscuit: I bawled my eyes out too!! I totally did not expect to be so emotional but it hit me like a ton of bricks. DH has been able to make all my appts (I've already had 5!) I would be bummed if he missed an U/S appt.. but maybe you can facetime?
I would definitely hope the U/S tech doesn't spill the beans (or try to!) Just let them know
@MamaBehr: I'm glad you appt went well too! I haven't weighed myself since the last appt, but I hadn't gained any weight then. I keep reading now is the time to start adding.5 to 1lb a week though!

I totally told the nurse that I don't want to know my weight, lol. I figure if I'm gaining too much/not enough, they'll let me know. I already have enough of a complex just being overweight and pregnant as it is! I don't need numbers on top of that, lol.

Just had my appointment, all is well and our anatomy scan is set for August 26th, although I'm not sure we'll find out. We didn't with the first and my husband really doesn't want to find out, but I'm on the fence about it. I want to SHOP!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: ha, the one time I told the nurse that she was like ok but you lost a lb from last time. I'm also overweight and sensitive to the numbers.

@abbydabbydoodlebug Maybe I should do that as well, because the nurse (or whoever weighs/does blood pressure) never tells me the number, I have to look. I could easily just get on it backwards. I find knowing the number makes me stressed out, because I have a complex about my weight too!
@deannab1 That's great you have your anatomy scan set up! We were going to go Team Green, but I think DD will be very upset if this baby is a boy and will probably need twenty weeks to get over it before the baby is here. haha!

I was on the fence about being Team Green too! DH was so opposed to the idea and now I am dying to find out haha.

Oh man, all y'all talking about anatomy scans is getting me impatient! I'll schedule it at my next appt on Aug 5 and I'm thinking it'll be the first week in Sept, which just so happens to be my birthday week! I'm tempted to schedule it on my actual birthday because that would be so fun, but if I could find out sooner than that... the temptation! I can't wait to find out what everyone is having! (those of you who aren't Team Green.

Everything went well at my appointment today & I got a very extensive U/S. She probably went on for a good 30+min. Both babies look great and are actually a head of schedule! I am 13 weeks GA today, Baby A is measuring at 14 weeks & is head down, Baby B is measuring at 13+5 & is breech. Both heartbeats were about 163! I asked the student to look for the sex when the tech stepped out (I couldn't help it) and she said she thought she saw a pee pee earlier on baby A
but he/she had flipped over (which I felt & it was awesome) when she went back to look. Both babies were moving like CRAZY & they were even reaching out to touch each other! It was insanely adorable! They made a short video for DH but they transferred the pictures to the disc instead of the video. I only got one picture of Baby A & 5 of Baby B. When I called back to see if I could get more of Baby A the front desk gal laughed, she is a twin & understand the need to have the same amount of each baby. So I get pick up the rest tomorrow. This place is awesome. Sorry for the picture over load but I had to share a few. The last one is of them playing with each other. It was hard to get them in the same view because they are stacked on each other.

He had to focus at work today. He barely had time for the 3 min I was there to drop of the pictures today. @MamaBehr: I've been pretty lucky so far!
@EMSMEMS: My next appointments are August 21st for a follow & I get my 18 week anatomy scan August 29th.

Are your babies in the same sac (is that what is called?) or different? That is amazing that they were trying to touch each other! I get to find out the gender on August 19! We have decided to find out and then I'll make a cupcake for my daughter with pink or blue on the inside. We are going to record her reaction to the color and I just hope it is cute. I think that's how we will tell the rest of the world what the baby is (fingers crossed it is a girl, I have never desired a gender so badly as I do with this one being a girl! it is so weird).

I'm so sad! The gal I talk to yesterday who said she would fix the pictures & video for me wasn't there today and I ended up talking to the office B! She said they can't reprint photos and the office doesn't do videos. She said not to waste my time going back over there because I wouldn't be able to get what I wanted.
DH is heartbroken he doesn't get to see the video & I feel so guilty for have had that special time with the twins w/o him.

My anatomy scan is set up for August 19th and I can't wait! It is the same place that I went for my son and they do 3-d and very thorough job! We have decided to find out the gender at the appointment and then give DD a cupcake or something to tell her the gender. We are going to record her reaction, if it is a girl I think she'll be jumping up and down and if it is a boy she'll be so disappointed, either way I think it'll be hilarious. Even though I wanted to be TG, I don't think I can even wait to the end of the appointment to find out the gender now!

I had my first regular check-up a few weeks ago and it went smoothly - we've been listening in on the heartbeat regularly with our at-home doppler, so it wasn't quite as exciting as it would have been otherwise, haha.
My next appointment is 8/14, and we have our anatomy scan 8/30, but we're thinking about doing a 4D ultrasound sooner to find out...I don't know if we can wait that long!! We could do one as early as next week, so I have a feeling we'll end up going that route.

Just went for a check up and our lil bean is clocking at 152 heartrate.

Yesterdays appt went well. Heard the HB- it was at around 140 BPM, so it's leaning towards old wives tale myth boy! haha. Before it was around high 150's - 160's so who knows how this all works out!

@wahine08: That was the first old-wives tale our midwife crushed for me, haha. Mine is still saying 'girl', but she assured me lots of boys have higher heart rates.
I love doing the old-wives tale things!! Have you tried others that say boy??

@Vegmama: The chinese gender chart says Boy, the ring over the belly says Boy, I'm not sure how I'm carrying yet.. Hmm what else is there? haha. I am getting terrible acne which they say is Girl.. but my M/S wasn't too terrible (although I felt like it was at the time haha) so they say that's Boy too.
I'm craving salty/spicy which they say is Boy as well. More stuff leans towards Boy but for some reason I think it's a girl! lol we'll see !!

Had my appt today, everything was normal! I remembered to ask the heart rate and it was 153ish. My next appt is on my birthday on Sept 5th for my anatomy scan. Should be fun! Although my Dr said that if everything is normal, this will be my last ultrasound for the pregnancy unless they are concerned about growth. Is that the same for everyone else?

I sure hope the anatomy scan isn't the last ultrasound, because I'm totally hooked on peeking in on him/her. Mine is coming up on Thursday morning and I can't wait!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I'm pretty sure my anatomy scan is the last Ultrasound scheduled, as well. There may be one way later on to see how the baby is doing position-wise but I'm sure there is other ways of figuring that out without a US.

Going in for a check up this morning after some light spotting last night. Thankfully it's stopped & I didn't really felt any cramps which is good! If you can cross your fingers, sends some good vibes or prayers that would be awesome.

@Sugar.Biscuit: I spotted for a full 6 days around 14-15 weeks, and everything is A-OK. The same will probably prove true for you. I hope getting it checked will put your mind at ease.
