Had the twins' second anatomy scan today and they both look good. They are measuring exactly the same at 15oz each

For those of you with 2+ kids, anyone have recommendations on double strollers? I'm trying to stick with a budget of under $300. We used the Key Fit Caddy for the first 6 months with my son and then got a BOB jogging stroller on Amazon during a crazy good sale, so I'm spoiled with how nice it maneuvers.

@littlecasita1122: Glad to hear the twins are doing well. I can't say anything about a double stroller. We registered for one (10% registry discount), but it was over your budget. I let my DH choose, he is the SAHD.

@littlecasita1122: We have a double bob, I scored it for $300 second hand and it was next to new (from a twin mom, actually!!) in better condition than my single was! I tried a couple other doubles, but after having the easy push of the bob it was hard to adjust to anything different, so I prowled the second hand sites and pounced on this one when it posted.....they go so fast! I did buy the snack tray/bucket seat adapter, and the weather shield brand new afterward. Glad the twins are measuring well!!

I love our list!! thanks for doing that @Smurfette: !

I had cramps and an upset tummy so badly last night I swore two cramps spaced weirdly apart I thought were contractions! I freaked out a little and cried on my bathroom floor, lol! Thankfully whatever I was sick about lasted a short time.

Working from home today, I was only in the office yesterday, but am spent. Need today to just be alone at home and my boss said not to work, but I do need to, but it makes a difference being able to work while horizontal on the couch. Baby shower and a 2nd birthday party this weekend. I am iffy on the party with DS's stuff, he is back at daycare today, but I am just leery of any lingering ability to pass it on. Health department still has not released my blood work results, so I have no idea on me yet.

Sending the Piñata family so much love. I hope they are getting the support they need. I truly wish no one ever had to experience this pain.

so sorry for the piñata's loss. Reading that update was truly heart breaking.

Hoping everyone else is doing well.

I have a midwife appointment tomorrow. I've been terrible at asking questions, so even though I'm over 20 weeks I'll be asking questions some people likely ask at the first appointment. Does anyone have any suggestions?

@Peasinapod: I think this is a boring part of pregnancy. There doesn't seem to be anything really going on, so nothing to really ask.

@Peasinapod: I'm really bad at asking questions too! Slightly better the 2nd time around. I kept asking when my GD test is b/c I had GD last time.

@Peasinapod: I had no questions at all for my 20 week appointment. I felt like I was wasting my money for the "extended" visit that the insurance company will surely bill me for!

Almost 21 weeks. My bump was always small with my first pregnancy. Wondering if I'll have the same issue this time around. Id love to see what some of you due around the same time are looking like !

  20. IRunForFun

    pomelo / 5509 posts

@Peasinapod: I think my bump is pretty similar! This isn't a great photo but I'm 21.5 weeks.

  21. littlecasita1122

    persimmon / 1026 posts

Lol my doctor said I will probably look full-term in 4 weeks from now....so my bump is out of control The boys are stacked on top of each other so at least I'm all out in front.

I'm 20.5 weeks! I barely had a bump at all at this point with my first! Getting anxious for our anatomy scan Monday! I'm just ready to hear that everything looks good!

  26. Peasinapod

    clementine / 770 posts

@IRunForFun: @madger: thanks for sharing guys! I know everyone grows differently when making babies, but the constant ultrasounds last time were a real pain, and I'm hoping I won't have this again ! But looks like my bump is a pretty good size

  27. sunnyday

@snowjewelz: thank-you for posting about the Pinata family, I posted over in her thread. so heartbreaking

I had my second/follow up anatomy scan Monday, and do have some good news, baby girl's cyst has resolved. I feel bad posting good news......my doctor called Wednesday as soon as results were received. Glad for a much better experience, and a picture of our girl folded up pretty much in half.

Also a pic of what 24w looks like with each kiddo. Left to right! 2012 with #1 (girl), 2014 with #2 (boy), and Wednesday with #3 (girl).

  28. Smurfette

@sunnyday: wow, she is folded in half. How is that comfy? You look like you are carrying the same with all three.

@sunnyday: You look great! Too funny on the acrobatic ultrasound photo. Sometimes I swear my LO is doing somersaults in there, at least that's what it feels like, so I can totally see being in that position at times!

I asked our almost two year old this morning if she thought I was having a boy or a girl and she said "a boat." well, we found out today it is another healthy baby girl!

@madger: Congratulations on the healthy baby girl!! LOL on your daughter's gender prediction. I have asked my 3.5-year-old nephew a few times what he thinks I'm having and he always says "Ummm I think it will be a boy...or a girl." Hahaha. Yep, pretty much kid!

Is anyone still dealing with round ligament pain? I thought that was something that happened earlier and went away but I had it something awful yesterday. Sometimes it was so painful it took my breath away. It was mainly if I made a sudden movement or bent over, but man. Painful. I wonder if my belly is growing.

@Smurfette: Small boats yes, but I have seen male names (Mr. Earl, etc). Large ships don't have male/female names, but are always called she.

@IRunForFun: I get it off and on, mainly when I walk too much. I really need to wear my support belt.

  36. IRunForFun

    pomelo / 5509 posts

@Mrs. Toad: Yep, I get it after walking a lot too. Also, we are getting ready to move so I'm doing lifting and packing, which I think is aggravating things. I take a lot of breaks but some days it's just awful.

  37. Smurfette

    GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts

@IRunForFun: off and on. I didn't really have it with LO.

Took DD to the zoo on Friday... It's Tuesday and I feel like I'm still recovering from all the walking (and carrying her here & there)

Went for my monthly scan yesterday due to the low PAPP-A thing... DD2 is growing well so far! I'm horrible; it's been a month and I still haven't bought the aspirin to take.

Starting to get nervous for the impending GD test!

24 weeks, viability!! Woot! I texted that to DH this morning and he said "That's great! But she isn't allowed to leave her hotel until January" ha! Fingers crossed.
