@junebugmama: not yet! I am anxious to start showing though! At least enough for me to tell. 14.5 weeks and nada. (I know it is prob bc I am overweight and I carry weight in my stomach anyways so it will prob take longer, but I cant wait to be obviously preggo!)

@Mae: I'm overweight too, but my boobs have always stuck out farther than my tummy. My tummy has taken them out lol

@junebugmama: I assume any day now I'm going to wake up and my jeans won't fit and I'll realize I gained 3 inches overnight

@MamaCate: If I become as big as a house, I will embrace it. Babies haven't ruined my body, ice cream has!

@junebugmama: I'm pretty sure I started showing SUPER early, like around 5 weeks. But I doubt anyone else could notice, and it was probably actually just bloating. One of my co-workers reminded me yesterday how increadably huge I got with my last pregnancy (mind you I was due middle of July so I was pregnant and very swollen in the middle of a heatwave last time). Hopefully I won't look as huge this time around!

@junebugmama: Definitely me! I mean, if you know how I normally look you would immediately know I'm pregnant, but I have a feeling to people who don't know me, I look like I have a beer belly. Right now I'm wearing a maternity shirt that I wore at 8-9 months last time -- thought it would be huge on me but it's actually pretty fitted.

@cookie_dough: Evvverrrybody gets huge when they are in their last month or so. Even tiny skinny girls. There is a lady at work who is due in late December, and everyone talks behind her back, saying she is enormous (normally she is about 100 pounds soaking wet), and I feel bad for her because it just looks to me like she's got a big healthy baby in there. I know when I'm 8 months pregnant they will say the same about me.

@junebugmama: @cookie_dough: @whodat: I'm 13 weeks today and huge already. I'm completely "out" at work now which is so nice because I don't have to try to find clothes that hide the bulge. I've been taking pictures since the day we found out, but for a while they were just showing off my IVF weight gain. I think it's starting to get bump-shaped now!

@twodoghouse: you look great!!! I will try and take a picture today...I'm wearing a very "showing-off my bump" outfit today
@whodat: I have a couple of colleagues who are the opposite! they are both due in December and they still look tiny. They look about the size i looked when I was 5 months pregnant last time! I will try not to worry about it too much, I know I didn't gain an unhealthy amount of weight last time, I just got really swollen in the end.

@tulip: welcome. My first baby (14 mos now) was an iui!
Hello ladies! Love seeing everyone's pics and hearing the updates. I can't get on hb at work so I'm not on here much. I have my NT scan tomorrow and we will also have an NIPT (non invasive prenatal testing ) my dr said it's a newer test and I'm eligible since I'm 35. So the results from that will also tell us the sex. Not sure if any of you will get or heard of it. I don't know anyone else who has.
Looking forward to keeping up with you all hopefully more often!

@sungirl: that's awesome that you'll get to know the sex so soon!! I am seriously counting down to my anatomy scan. 3.5 weeks!

I wanted to weigh in on favorite maternity jeans. I got a few pairs of Citizens as hand me downs that I love. They are a little too big now so I just bought a pair of Jessica Simpson skinny jeans from Motherhood that I really like. I wore them for a girls' night last weekend and got a lot of compliments the girls were surprised they were maternity.

@junebugmama: I will be 14 weeks tomorrow and I have decided to wear the bellaband pretty much all the time. I just started this week, but it is SO much more comfortable. This is #1 and my husband makes fun of me for wearing it because I don't really have a bump, but I have become thicker around the middle. Even though I could technically suck it in a little and button my pants standing up, I am super uncomfortable when sitting down without the band (especially with high-waisted work pants!).

@junebugmama: what a beautiful bump! I can't wait to take pictures that actually SHOW something.

@junebugmama: You look great! So exciting to have a real bump! Still bumpless over here. lol
So is anyone else starting to get round ligament pain? I think that is what I'm having based on descriptions. It isn't bad or often yet, but I've noticed that when I sneeze or cough sometimes (which I have a cold so is daily) I get a quick sharp pain in one of the lower sides of my abdomen. It actually doesn't bug me at all because I'm sort of just happy to have a "farther along" symptom. Anxious to get this kid showing and moving and grooving in there!

@Mae: I think I may have felt something in my upper upper thigh/pelvic area a few times. A few minutes ago I raised my leg in an awkward position and went "oww!" and it definitely felt like a joint pain of sorts. Still not sure if it was just that, or round ligament pain.

Hopping on the bump train! 13 weeks-ish and in a huge maternity shirt and circulation-killing non maternity jeans.
kiwi / 619 posts
@Mae: I totally often get a sharp pain when I sneeze, but I had no idea what it was! I've been getting it since very early on.
@junebugmama: @whodat: love the bump pictures. I forgot to take one yesterday, and today I'm wearing an outfit that just makes me look like I have flab hanging over my pants hahaha. This weekend I will take one!
I'm really not a fan of these "elastic waistband" pants...I find them way more uncomfortable than the full panel pants. At least the full panel ones contain and define the bump whereas the elastic waistband ones just press into me and make it look like my tummy is spilling over. not sure if that makes any sense at all

@whodat: You look great! I'm so excited that we're all getting to the bump picture stage!
@Mae: I've been having a lot of soreness under my belly which I've been calling round ligament pain. However, looking up the symptoms of rlp just now, I don't think that's what it is after all. I have felt a few sharp, jabby feelings but not very often. So maybe I've had a little bit of it?
@cookie_dough: I much prefer the full panel pants too. The other ones just make me feel like I've got a huge muffin top instead of smoothing me out into a cute bump.
apricot / 365 posts
@Mae: When I get up from sitting too quickly, or sneeze or something, I get a sharp pain in my lower abdomen. Some days are worse than others, like if I've been cleaning or cooking a lot on my feet. Meant to ask my doctor about it but I'm sure it's just ligaments stretching.
nectarine / 2019 posts
@twodoghouse: thanks! @whodat: what a cute bump! @cookie_dough: I always only wore the full panels. I bought 2 other types, and have no idea how people find them comfortable or flattering.

@MamaCate: Oh, no. Don't even know what to say. So far beyond understanding. I'm sorry.

Thank you all for your sympathy and kind words. It makes a difference to feel so supported by all of you even from afar.
