@whodat: It's brown and light. Not really chunky or creamy either. I wear a panty liner but it's not even enough to need to replace it throughout the day. Sometimes it's there when I wipe, other times it's not. I'm trying not to worry since my doctor said brown = old blood and it's not increasing in quantity or color. I go in on Thursday for a blood test and if it's still happening I'm going to ask about it.

It seems like a few of us will have 2 under 2. How many months apart will your LO's be? Ours will be about 20 months.

@skipra: There were two incisions and the top/biggest one (at my belly button) only healed up about two weeks ago. It was brutal that it took a month to close! That spot rejected the internal stitches and I had to learn the hard way of course! Nothing was healing, whereas the other spot had regular stitches and looked amazing in no time. Other than that....pretty okay.....just glad it is out of me

@twodoghouse: that happened to me insanely early!! Like, 7DPO. But I was/still am on progesterone, and I think it makes it a bit worse. Though mine started before I started P, so who knows...

Hang in there, nauseous/food aversion ladies. It's so hard. Hoping you can find relief soon!

I just had a subway (hot) sub and doritos. and it was like the best thing I ever ate in my life. Feeling guilty about it not being super healthy--- but whatever I ate and feel good right now so I'm happy!

@beebug - so excited that we are due date twins! Sorry you outed yourself on my behalf

Still no real symptoms yet except some slight cramping. Last time around it felt like someone had jammed their arm inside me and was twisting everything so I'm not real excited for that to start again.

Last time I felt horribly hungover and on the verge of puking all day, but it was at least somewhat better if I ate first thing in the morning even if I didn't feel like it. I ate a LOT of peanut butter or avocados on english muffins. If I didn't eat it went downhill quickly and I threw up for the rest of the day. Also switching to taking my prenatal vitamins at night really helped. Turned out taking those in the morning made me the sickest.

By the way, these things were magic for work and commuting. I had them stashed everywhere. Something about the ginger helped and at least made me feel pretty confident I wasn't going to puke in someone else's office if I had to go to a meeting or a conference call! They have other ginger chews that are even stronger, but I didn't like them as much b/c I felt like they got stuck in my teeth and were a little less inconspicuous. http://www.amazon.com/Ginger-People-Gin-Gins-Hard-Candy/dp/B000EM8308/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1378752217&sr=8-9&keywords=ginger+chews

@glitter - I have the same serious blood drawing aversion. My blood pressure drops really low and I tend to pass out. Being pregnant actually really helped b/c I didn't have a choice about having my blood drawn! I found if I took really deep breaths and didn't watch what they were doing and made the blood drawer talk to me the whole time it really helped. I usually asked them if they had kids and if so what advice they had. Anything to keep my mind off what they were doing. I must have looked pretty funny, b/c I'd be turned totally around facing the other way with my arm sticking out. If they did it in the drs office I laid down and faced the other direction. The first couple times were bad, but I actually got much better by the end. I was also terrified of having an IV put in when I was in labor, but by that time I was plenty pre-occupied with other things so I didn't really notice I think it was in my hand and I had them put it in underneath the bed so I couldn't see what was going on. Good luck though!! I'm sure you'll do great!!

@Keds: lying down to draw the blood is actually a really good idea! I always end up recovering on a bed anyway lol. Thanks for your success story and tricks and encouragement! I'll try anything possible to bear it and remain conscious. I'm counting on motherhood selflessness to kick in and bear this for my dear LO's sake.

Update (again): appointment on September 24th for bloodwork (yikes!) And ultrasound

Ok, I'm also going to officially join, though I'm very skeptical that this pregnancy will work out. Joining the 2 under 2 club as well!

EDD if you have one: May 3

When Did You Find Out?: I realized on cycle day 40 that I hadn't gotten my period in a while. We were sort of trying but figured b/c it took us so long with #1 that it would take at least half as long with #2!

    Child Number: #2

    Where You Live: Pennsylvania

What kind of provider will you see?: My OBGYN practice. There is a group of 7...some which I love and others who are just ok.

When's Your First Appointment?: 9/12 for an early U/S. This is my 4th pregnancy with 1 LO, so they want to see me really soon.

What kind of birth do you want?: I'm having a scheduled C-section. My first ended up in a very traumatic emergency C-section with LO in the NICU, so I'm going straight to scheduled C this time around.

What You're Most Excited For: If this works out...the kids being so close! They'll be 20 months apart!

What You're Most Scared About: The same thing I'm most excited for! 2 under 2 scares me to pieces!

Symptoms so far: Bionic nose, nausea, exhaustion

Any fun plans for the end of summer/fall?: Nothing...this is our busy time at work, so I'm staying focused!

So glad to see a few familiar faces here too...congratulations to everyone!

Any other obsessive POASers here? I did last night (got first BFP on Sunday) but my pee was too diluted so I just made myself nuts. I did again, just to be "sure."

  20. Glitter

    persimmon / 1281 posts

@LindsayInNY: haha you are not alone. I tested six different times the weekend we found out. And truthfully I really want to test again because the doctor's appointment is so far away and I just wanna make sure he/she is stil.. there! (As if cramping and constant nausea isn't enough proof)

  21. cookie_dough

    kiwi / 619 posts

@LindsayInNY: I'm way too scared to POAS again. My line was so dark the two times I did, that I feel like anything lighter would freak me out! I did have my first appointment with my GP today, and they made me pee in a cup...so I'm assuming that they tested for me

My DH is freaked out that dark line = twins. I'm pretty sure that there is no connection!

  22. Mae

    papaya / 10343 posts

@LindsayInNY: ummmm yep lol. I got my BFP on 10dpo in the morning. I POAS days 11-14 because I wanted to see the (super super faint) line getting darker to convince myself everything was going okay and it wouldn't be chemical. Then I tested again last week in the afternoon (at like 5.5 weeks) just to see what would happen because even at 14 days the line wasn't super dark. Welp, at that point (even in the afternoon when I was SUPER well hydrated) the line turned DARK DARK fast. Made me happy haha. But I think I'm officially done now

  23. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@Glitter: I only have a couple tests left so I figured I'd make good use of them! Instead it's stressing me out, LOL. I thought the line would get darker and it hasn't. Thankfully I have my first appt (blood test) this Thursday. Hopefully that'll help get me off the ledge?!

@cookie_dough: I keep doing it thinking the line will get darker but it didn't this morning. DH thinks a light line somehow isn't as good. I explained to him that wasn't the case... I have my first appt on Thursday for a blood test. Hopefully that will curb the POASing?

  24. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@Mae: I got my first BFP at 13DPO. I POAS last night with diluted pee and nothing showed up so I panicked! For really no reason since my LP isn't that long and AF clearly wasn't here... I POAS this morning at 15DPO and had another light line. I was using the crappy wondfo's though. I just want to see a *dark* line though!

  25. Glitter

    persimmon / 1281 posts

@LindsayInNY: if you're panicking a lot buy a clear blue digital pregnancy test. Some of them even tell you how many weeks pregnant you are. Seeing the word "Pregnant" should calm your nerves

  26. Mae

    papaya / 10343 posts

@LindsayInNY: thats how i felt too and i didn't really like that even at 14dpo the line was still very light. but when i tested at 5.5 weeks (so.... something like 25 dpo?) it was super dark even with diluted pee. so I think that it prob just hasn't been long enough!

  27. mrsog

    apricot / 388 posts

@LindsayInNY: I got my BFP on August 22nd. Thats almost 3 weeks ago but my dr. appt isnt till next week. I almost stopped to buy some more tests a few times but decided to save my money. I tested at 10dpo and 11 dpo with both positive, and along with the cramps and nausea and no AF, I'm pretty sure I'm still good! I still won't believe it tho till I have proof from the doctor!

  28. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@Glitter: I was at CVS today and thought about it... But then decided 1. it was expensive and 2. I didn't need 2 tests. Never mind I tested on a wondfo and a blue dye FRER on Sunday, both of which were positive. So clearly I'm just being cray cray

@Mae: Okay, so maybe I'll save a test for another week or two then?! Way to feed into my insanity, LOL!

@mrsog: I don't even have any symptoms aside from being sick! Granted it's still so early, I know... My LP has never been 15DPO (today) so there's really no reason for me to think I'm not pregnant either. I definitely didn't expect my doctor to bring me in so soon. I think it's just a blood test and nothing more though.

  29. cookie_dough

    kiwi / 619 posts

@LindsayInNY: hopefully you will feel more reassured after your appointment and bloodwork. I wouldn't worry about the darkness of the line at all! I'm really nervous/excited to get my bloodwork results in the next few days. We won't be getting an ultrasound until the genetic testing around 11-13 weeks, so for now the bloodwork is all we have to go by

  30. Mae

    papaya / 10343 posts

@LindsayInNY: I really felt nothing symptom wise until like 4.5 weeks. I don't think everyone feels things in the first few weeks!

Is anyone like, counting the hours almost until your u/s? Mine is NEXT WEEK! I'm so pumped. It seemed soooooo far away when I scheduled it but now it seems sort of right around the corner. I'm just so anxious/hopeful to see a heart beat and make sure everything is measuring on target. I've been a googling machine and found two sites that say if you measure on target + heartbeat at 8 weeks the chance of miscarriage is 2% or less. I don't know for sure if that is true but I'm sticking with it and it's making me so excited! I think if all looks good we're telling people after the u/s. I'm sick of keeping the secret already!

Although! We are currently at a conference for my husband's work (I tagged along) and he "accidentally" told everyone from his work here that I'm pregnant. Then forgot to mention to me that he did that. So we went out to dinner with them last night and I got ambushed and was like--- omg I REALLY hope everything is okay now bc this is a lot of ppl to untell otherwise.

  31. mrsog

    apricot / 388 posts

@Mae: I seriously need to step away from google. I have had cramps this whole time, sometimes dull sometimes strong, and they make me nervous. So last night google told me that a lot of cramping can be a sign of twins. And they do run in my family sooo.... now I have that on my brain!

  32. Mae

    papaya / 10343 posts

@mrsog: oh lord, lol. Step away from google! I don't google symptoms because I'm operating under the theory that EVERYTHING is a normal pregnancy symptom. Because have you ever seen House? Like every weird ass thing that can happen to you--- it can be caused by pregnancy lol. The nurse when I went in said I can call with any questions but basically unless I have cramps + bleeding I really don't NEED to call because everything is fine.

  33. mrsog

    apricot / 388 posts

@Mae: the cramps have made me nervous but there is no bleeding or spotting of any kind so I'm staying positive! and no more googling for me!

  34. cookie_dough

    kiwi / 619 posts

@mrsog: Ahhh! google said it was a sign of twins? I've actually had a lot of dull cramping in the last few days, which I don't remember having last pregnancy. That plus my uber dark line are making me reallllllllly nervous for twins!!!

  35. mrsog

    apricot / 388 posts

@cookie_dough: it was after quite a few searches I found talk of twins so it wasn't saying anything definite. It just put the thought in my head and now I can't stop thinking about it!

  36. Beebug

    pomegranate / 3917 posts

I'm putting it out there, I want twins SO bad. Me crazy.

I want any healthy baby first off....but I would be so pumped for twins!

  37. Beebug

    pomegranate / 3917 posts

I have one stick left, I pee'd on 3 so far. My CB digi's both said pregnant 2-3w when I did them two days apart......wish I waited with one you know....like a week so it said more? I'm the fool that compares this to LO#1. My first test it said preggo 3+ weeks with her 27 days after mc, this 2-3w one was also 27 days (co-incidence?) after CD1 so that made me worry. But everything about early days preggo with #1 was insane and I'd rather not have anything comparable to the first 12w with her!

  38. cookie_dough

    kiwi / 619 posts

@mrsog: I'm going to try not to make myself crazy and just assume I'm only having one baby

@Beebug: Hahaha, only a little crazy Twins would definitely be an adventure. But I don't think that our smallish house could accomodate 3 kids, and we definitely couldn't afford to move to a bigger house anytime soon if we were paying for 3 kids in daycare!!! We would definitely manage somehow if it ever happened though. The people we bought our house from had 3 young boys, so they made it work for several years somehow!

  39. Beebug

    pomegranate / 3917 posts

@cookie_dough: I honestly have no idea how we would do it either, but we have said "others do it, so why couldn't we" lol. We just moved into our lifer house 10 days ago, so it's going to have to fit whatever number we finish at, lol. I try to think that daycare costs aren't forever, even though once done with daycare costs of sports, lessons, etc costs can be comparable I'm sure!

  40. cookie_dough

    kiwi / 619 posts

@Beebug: Ya, I would love for my kids to be involved in all kinds of sports, activities, etc. and with 3 it would make it more difficult, but I must admit...it would be a little bit exciting! Very scary though...In any case, I'm 99.9% sure that I'm freaking out over nothing and there's only one little bean in there
