@FarmWifeGina: Relaxing I can do! I can't even imagine how I'll feel 3 weeks from now, considering how I feel today. So even though I envision doing everything I can, taking a hot bath and relaxing in bed is probably more my speed than going for hours long walks, lol.

@ ash. Lol, I'm sure DH will be up for that.
@ farmwifegina. Thanks for the suggestions. My dr specifically said no bouncing because he had someone fall off their ball last week.
Has anyone ever heard of eating pineapple? A coworker suggested that. Something about the enzymes?

@stine_ciro: Lol, ok, no bouncing. What about just sitting and swiveling your hips? There's no need for the backside to leave the ball to be beneficial.

@lilteacherbee: That's my birthday! Glad you got a doctor you like.

@stine_ciro: I've heard accupuncture and the chiro can help induce labor. I went four times in one week when I was trying to get him to flip and my water broke at 38 weeks. Up until that point I had no signs I might be going into labor. Makes me wonder if they helped me along.

Thanks for all of the well wishes everyone. Little guy is doing great. He isn't super interested in feeding which is frustrating but when he wants to he has an excellent latch. And ive been easily hand expressing colostrum as much as I can so I'm confident that my milk will arrive soonish.
One thing is for sure. Recovery from a C is no joke. I'm not in a ton of pain but I'm not enjoying how uncomfortable it is to do anything.
Can't wait for the rest of you to join me on the other side!

@stine_ciro: I tried all the tricks to induce labor naturally with DS and nothing worked! Membranes stripped twice etc and still nothing Good luck!

@ms.janedoe: Want I send some of that nesting drive my way? I never nested with DS. I could use some of that drive now since we sill have everything to do in the nursery and I've spent the last week sewing instead (which my mom said was nesting, but I think it's just my way of procrastinating what I should be doing to prepare for baby).

@anbanan15: @ms.janedoe: I could use some of that nesting (cleaning wise) too!
Got another massage this morning...feels like heaven!

@sarah.clarisse: Glad to hear baby is doing great! Hopefully he gets more interested in food, maybe he's still waking up from the comfy womb. Best wishes for a better recovery!

Ugh... visiting at my mom's and noticed my feet and hands started swelling last night. Not sure if it has to do with how hot her house is or what... checked my bp and it was perfect. So now I'm worried....

Yay, I think I'm in labor. The similarities with last time is it's always around 3-4 am. But that's where it ends. This hurts a shit ton from the get go.

@Maysprout: ahh, good luck! I either just slight peed myself or had a ill amniotic fluid leak... Time will tell

@Maysprout: so exciting!! Good luck!!
We need to start a birth stats/info something thread now that we are getting some November babies

We went to the hospital right after, my contractions were only 2~3 min apart from the getgo. Water broke after we got here and I got an epidural, so just relaxing at 6 cm.

@ChitownRo: I had something like that the other day, but I think it was discharge. Any news?

I think it was a false alarm. Nothing else leaked out. And my BH decreased in frequency. Haha, I am just guessing this is what it will be like until I deliver, second guessing everything

Baby girl was born around 1 pm and weighs 7 lbs 6 oz, about a full lb heavier than older lo. Epidural was working mainly on my left side so felt a lot more pushing this time but it went a bit quicker, though labor did slow down again after I got the epi but it didn't come to a standstill like last time. This was a better labor experience than with older lo, some of it I think was having the experience but also the drs and nurses were really friendly and supportive.
She's really calm and seems to have figured out nursing. Very glad to not be pregnant anymore. I feel bad though I have a bad cold so hope she got antibodies from me already or will get them through my milk.
Older lo was a bit timid at first but then opened up a lot.

@Maysprout: Congratulations! I'm glad all is well.
My mom is leaving tomorrow to come here (it will take a day or two depending on if she plans to stay overnight somewhere halfway), we bought most of the stuff I need to make freezer meals and our shower was a success. Tomorrow is my first day of leave and it's going to be so weird not going to work! I'm hoping to get lots done so I don't get bored.
How is everyone hanging in?

@MrsDragon: That's so freaking awesome you're done with work!! Good for you! Also awesome that your shower went well, you've got some meals in the works, and momma's on her way!
Things are going well here--DH and I "celebrated" our 1st wedding anniversary today...a little cake and champagne celebration was had, and it was great! We also basically detailed the entire truck (we share one vehicle since DH is usually traveling), so it's spotless--which is feels freaking awesome! I've been thinking baby is going to come at ANY time, and I feel like because I think that, she's gonna be late. Hahaha. Fail.
I don't have much of a reason to think she's coming, no mucus plug yet, just a few random tightenings here and there...I think I"m just more looking into EVERYTHING as a possible "sign" that something is happening...it's like the TWW all over again!!! I'm still "working" (basically I just sit in a chair and surf the web all day...) for now, aside from the hour commute, I really do nothing, so I figure I might as well do it as long as I can!
I have a doctor appointment tomorrow at 2:00--I know I'll be getting a cervical check, so it'll be interesting to see if anything is goin' on down there!

@ms.janedoe: I feel the exact same way with no real reason to think she's coming soon, but the feeling that she is. No plug, no real contractions, just some cramping here and there.
I was spending the last few weeks barely working but my hours were unpredictable and I feel muuuuuch better knowing I can get some stuff done at home. Plus we had our shower here, so because of that the whole upstairs of the house is finally clean since we moved here in August, and the relief of that is HUGE. We still need to clean the car & baby's room still needs some work but if she comes now, I feel like it's okay.

@MrsDragon: I bet it will be strange to be on leave starting tomorrow. Have fun putting away your goods from the shower and prepping the freezer meals!
@ms.janedoe: happy 1st anniversary! I hope your appt tomorrow can help give you a feel for when your baby will arrive.
We finally installed the car seat today. We're probably still a week away from completing our latest home renovation so I'm just going to chill while all of you early November mamas transition to motherhood

Congrats to those who've delivered already!!! So exciting!
I haven't even started dilating yet- they said I'm still completely closed @ my apt on Thursday... so tired of waiting!!!

@MrsDragon: Oh so jealous that you are starting your leave today! That was supposed to be my plan. But here I am at work...Glad your shower was a success! I prepped a bunch of freezer meals a couple weeks ago. It is a good feeling to know that is all done.
@Maysprout: Congratulations!!! So exciting that your baby girl is here!
@MsJaneDoe: Congrats on your one year anniversary. Baby is going to make such a great anniversary gift!
I'm somewhat anxious for my appointment this afternoon to check baby's position. I am pretty sure she is still head down, but I'm not sure that will be the final determination in whether or not we do the c-section tomorrow. It is just so crazy to not know if she will be here tomorrow or not. I just want to know! Ha
