@winniebee: I'm going to Grand Caymen around 12/13 weeks too! We are cruising with my family that week! FUN!

6 weeks, 3 days today and have officially been nauseous all day So gross.

@lilyann: too funny! Week of 4-23?? Has your Ob said anything about Zika? I haven't met with her yet. Grand cayman has great mosquito eradication program so I'm not really concerned though a little worried what everyone else will think

@winniebee: We are cruising 4/17-4/24! I am a little nervous because we will also be stopping in Jamaica and Cozumel I meet with my OB at the end of this month and plan on letting her know.

@lilyann: we are 4-23 to 4-30but flying direct to grand cayman and just staying there. you could always just stay on the boat for those places! So annoying to even have to consider this as a factor! Given my issues we didn't expect to get pregnant and stay pregnant before this trip but of course!

Thanks beautiful people, for putting up with me as per usual.

Saw OB this morning, baby has a beautiful little heartbeat, he saw it wiggling around a little, and he said he's happy.... and we're back to weekly scans.

@jaguar: This is such, such great news. You and baby are rock stars!

@mfa_lady: I've got 3 weddings this year. I'll be 20 weeks at the first, 37 weeks at the second, and 38 weeks at the third. The last one is my cousin's wedding out in California, so I won't be able to fly out for it.

My brother-in-law keeps talking about camping memorial day and labor day and I'm like "Do you know how pregnant I'll be then?!" I count out the weeks for him but he doesn't care. Lol

Felt better today! Was able to run some errands and start working on a project for baby. And we officially started our registry since we already have a couple things picked out... and will probably buy something next week cause it's on sale. Lol

@jaguar: So glad your baby is a trooper. My mother says that she knew I'd be high-maintenance because it was such a high-maintenance pregnancy. So maybe this is baby just preparing you for the next 18 years.

  14. mfa_lady

    pomegranate / 3921 posts

@KrzyRiver: Hahaha. My brother-in-law was similar, before he had kids. For various (legitimate and outside our control) reasons, I hosted Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for my in-laws ONE WEEK before my daughter was born. Everybody was all "man, it's no big deal," yadda yadda. Then, this past year, when his wife was about 30 weeks pregnant and we were having Christmas at my house again, my BIL was like OH MY GOSH MFA_LADY HOW DID YOU EVER DO THIS AT 39 WEEKS PREGNANT LAST YEAR? I guess some appreciation after the fact was better than nothing.

  15. KrzyRiver

    apricot / 276 posts

@mfa_lady: Well at least he realized the error of his ways! My brother-in-law's youngest is 11, so he doesn't even remember back that far. Lol. He's already talking about camping next year too. He doesn't get that camping with a 7 month old does NOT sound like fun.

@KrzyRiver: At least there's hope for us, right, that we'll forget the pain of the pregnant lady/newborn days someday?

My appointment went well! HR was 168, and I'm officially an October mom again. They moved my DD back to October 3 based on LMP and my dating scan in the hospital. Happy Birthday to me (my birthday is October 3)!

  19. mfa_lady

    pomegranate / 3921 posts

@avivoca: YAY! Great news! How fun to look forward to your birthday AND due date together! How far along does that put you now?

    @avivoca: wonderful news!!!! congratulations

  21. avivoca

    watermelon / 14467 posts

@mfa_lady: 10w3d, so not too far behind what I initially had with my LMP. I still think of my official DD as Sept. 30 because I know when I ovulated and have longer cycles.

  22. KrzyRiver

    apricot / 276 posts

@mfa_lady: Yeah but my brother in law is in the teenager stage. I don't look forward to that either! Lol. My stepson's 15 now, so at least I only gotta deal with one teenager at a time.

@avivoca: Awww. We're due 6 days before my husband and his brother's birthday. The want the baby to come late so it comes on their birthday. I'll kill them if that happens. Lol

  23. avivoca

    watermelon / 14467 posts

@KrzyRiver: I was late the last time and it wasn't too awful. I don't want to be late this time because it's so close to my daughter's birthday, which is 10/7.

  24. mfa_lady

    pomegranate / 3921 posts

@avivoca: Your family sounds like mine--my parents and my brother all have October birthdays! If this baby comes early, it could share a celebration with my dad (October 21). But then again, I don't even really know what my due date is. So, we'll see!

  25. TFrances

    apricot / 286 posts

@avivoca: Welcome back into the October group! My due date is 10/5, that's 10 days before Arthur's (2-year-old) birthday. I have to have a scheduled c-section, so I'm hoping we can stick to 10/5. I don't want them to have birthdays too close together. Speaking of, are you going to push up your daughter's b-day party? I was thinking of throwing Arthur's 3rd b-day party in mid-September. Don't really want to plan and execute a party with a newborn would much rather do it pregnant...

  26. avivoca

    watermelon / 14467 posts

@TFrances: I think we will. We did that last year because the weather around her birthday is so iffy here. Having it at the end of September generally guarantees that it will be warm and I can have it outside.

  27. winniebee

    @avivoca: that's great news!

  28. BUNBUN

@avivoca: Haha! Right there with you. I ate an entire Panera baguette for dinner on Friday. That's it. The whole thing. Luckily I bought a second so that my husband could have some with his dinner I seem to have way more aversions than cravings right now. I haven't had a salad in about a month and that is SUPER weird for me. Same with fruit. I hope I start wanting to eat healthy stuff soon. Right now it's just a struggle to eat anything

  29. BUNBUN

    @jaguar: @avivoca: Great news, ladies!

  30. mfa_lady

    pomegranate / 3921 posts

@BUNBUN: I feel you! Especially in the mornings, I feel like swallowing food will CHOKE me. It's so sad, because usually I love eating. Ha!

  31. BUNBUN

    apricot / 430 posts

@mfa_lady: Sad is exactly what it is! I'm like "who IS this person??" And nights are the WORST for me, so when we went out of town this weekend, I had to drag myself to a restaurant for dinner (I ate 1/2 an appetizer) and hide in the hotel room all night. I seem to be sickest right before I go to bed. I can't decide whether I should go to bed when I'm feeling ok (at like, 7pm) or if that will be worse! I keep apologizing to my husband for being no fun at all and thanking him for being so patient

  32. TFrances

    apricot / 286 posts

@BUNBUN: My nausea is also the worst right after dinner time. 7-9pm is my kryptonite. Sometimes I nibble on crackers and that's about the extent of my dinner. I make up for it during lunch time. I'm ravenous!

  33. KrzyRiver

    apricot / 276 posts

@mfa_lady: @BUNBUN: @TFrances: I'm the opposite of all you ladies. Lol. Mine is the worst in the morning. I don't eat much all day and then come dinner I'm starving and snacking all night. Probably why I have trouble sleeping at night....

  34. mfa_lady

    pomegranate / 3921 posts

@KrzyRiver: I"m with you! I'm worse in the morning, too. Breakfast is a true struggle!

  35. whiskers

    kiwi / 657 posts

Mine is also the worst in the evenings. Last night any time I laid back down it was overbearing.

Sausage kolaches are my pregnancy food. They are the perfect snack item to get me through the worst of my nausea or hunger.

My nausea doesn't stop. Ever! I've only puked once so far though. I am able to eat better now too. Last week I was eating a cracker and an apple for the whole day because I was so nauseated, but this week I'm eating like normal for the most part.

I'm finally getting over this stupid cold I've had for a week and a half and feeling pretty good. I'm tired but today I had to get up and fill orders for my Etsy shop because they were due to ship today, and once I made myself get up and get moving I felt good.

    7 weeks tomorrow! Eeee!

I'm not great at keeping up with every single post so if I get something wrong or something changed and I didn't notice please let me know!!

I forgot that when you are pregnant, there is a fine line between eating enough that you won't be hungry in an hour and eating so much that you just might puke. It's been touch and go for awhile since lunch, but the Tylenol I just took for my head might do me in.

  39. TFrances

    apricot / 286 posts

@avivoca: OMG the daily struggle! Yesterday I ate way too much at lunch and was really struggling for a few hours... I need to make myself mini meals and eat every two-three hours instead of three big meals!

  40. KrzyRiver

    apricot / 276 posts

@avivoca: I have this problem too. I don't get my appetite back until late, and then I want to eat everything. Lol. Or I feel guilty for not eating all day so I try and make up for it. I always pay for it.
