@FaithFertility: lol or maybe I'm just old now and can't handle it. I was not nauseous at all for T. R was mild. This is bad.

Not a lot of nausea here. It comes off and on. The exhaustion on the other hand is getting out of hand. My boys don't really nap anymore and I feel like I need at least 2 naps a day. 😭 I can't get comfortable about this pregnancy. I am just hoping everything is on in there. My DH did tell FIL this weekend.

Gah. T kept us up all night last night and I'm beat. He goes down for a nap and I spend an hour of it doing a couple of things here and there. I figured it would be a waste to try and sleep any because he would be up soon and a short nap would make me feel worse.

He napped for FOUR HOURS. Such a missed opportunity.

I'm so tired and sick. Haha.

@MrsRcCar: my almost 4 year old doesn't nap. If I really need a break he gets a movie while his brother naps. Oh well.

I have my first ultrasound tomorrow. 7 weeks. All of my losses have earlier, 4-5 weeks, but I'm still so nervous something is wrong. Glad it will be in the morning!!

@jaguar: Come on baby! Give your mama a break!

@winniebee: Good luck in the morning! I'll be anxious to see your update.

I was watching a video about a woman getting nose surgery and she was talking about how her nose was plugged up with gauze and she couldn't breathe, and I had to promptly get up and go puke. Wtf??

I'm not even squeamish about that stuff.

@artsyfartsy: I can't believe you mentioned this!!! I love this show called Nightwatch. It's about EMS and police services in New Orleans. It can be really gory. I've always liked it, till I got pregnant. Now I get sick to my stomach if I even catch a glimpse or cover my eyes and hear them talking about what they are seeing doing! So strange!!!!

@artsyfartsy: you know what else made my stomach turn...quickly... Hoarders. It came on after something I was watching and though I didn't see much, it had me doubling over till I could find the remote. Yuck!!!

Went to bed and woke up again today with this horrible headache. It seems like once a week or so I get this awful 24 hour headache that just won't go away with meds or ice/heat. Pretty miserable. Tylenol helped a little this morning but trying to get work done this morning has proven to be a challenge.

@waiting4you: I had really, really horrible headaches with my first. They were mostly concentrated in the second trimester, but they were brutal. Usually a Coke and a Tylenol were the only thing that helped, and sometimes even that didn't work. I hope you feel better soon!

There's a baby in there! Everything looks good! Measuring 6w6d -- lmp says 7w but I wasn't sure of ovulation. OB doing follow up ultrasound in 2w for my own peace of mind.

@winniebee: great news!! And wonderful that you'll get a follow up in 2 weeks!! Congratulations!

First time mom-to-be's....have you purchased anything yet? I'm part of a group on Facebook that you have to be invited/approved to be a part of that sells things. They always have practically new baby items for sale (used at a g'ma house, etc). I purchased a brand new play mat the other day for $5 and today messaged someone about a new gender neutral pack and play. I'm hesitant to buy things at only 9.5 weeks but also don't want to miss getting one of the bigger items for less than half price. (Lord knows this is going to add up fast, especially if we end up with 3!)

Hope everyone who has been feeling capital-C crappy is feeling a little better.... Maybe we need a barf emoticon on here. I have not been as barfy as some, but my gag reflex is sharper than ever. If I even think about taking my prenatal vitamins, I can start to gag. I really need to psyche myself out just to take them sometimes. I think IVF meds toughened me some because I used to take the little blue estradiol pills without liquid when I had to and choked them down, so I know I won't actually vomit if I start to gag.... Blessings, right?!

@jaguar: So glad Olaf is going strong even though he throws you for a loop now and again! Stay strong, little one!

@winniebee: Yay for seeing the baby!

@waiting4you: Hormonal headaches are the absolute worst. Are you doing acupuncture or have you given it a try? I think it is the thing that has given me the most long-term relief. Heat, in the near-term, is my go-to...

We haven't bought anything and I'm not sure we're there yet. My parents are coming Easter weekend and maybe that will get us going as I'll be starting the second trimester then. I'll have the NT scan and first trimester screening the Friday before, so we'll have that information then, too (though not the Mat21 results). In any case, it will be a good time to have parental support and a good time, fingers-crossed, to start thinking of what we need!

@waiting4you: I haven't started shopping yet, but might be able to wrap my mind around that more once people know about our pregnancy. Right now, only DH and I know (8 weeks), but hoping that will change in the next week or so if all is well at our first OB appointment tomorrow (eek). That said, I would definitely be grabbing some big ticket items if I had access to great deals like you mentioned. Sounds like some awesome savings!

@TapDancer: Good luck at your appointment tomorrow! We have our first OB appointment tomorrow as well (10 weeks), though we've had a ton of u/s's and b/w done since we found out (due to IVF and some complications with the IVF process).

as far as buying things; I've been the one that's insisted on not buying anything till we got thru the first trimester, though after our last appointment where we heard and saw the heartbeat I guess my confidence grew a bit. To add to it, one of the baby/kid shops I've been following on instagram for years (someone I know does their photography for their store) just put this crib that I'm in love with on flash sale today. It's normally $999, and today it's $300. That's HUGE. Part of me wants to just buy it and if I have to sell it because this doesn't work out...well so be it. The other part of me says, don't do it because we still haven't ruled out how many babies we're actually having at this point. EEEK! Would hate to buy 1 and then find out that baby B and C are both strong and healthy. If that's the case I'd want all 3 cribs to match and I definitely couldn't afford 2 more at $999 each! Guess I'll have to let this deal pass. ...

    @winniebee: Congratulations!

@Amorini: Thanks hun. I hope he keeps on fighting!

Not a lot going on here.. wicked back aches, cramps, the usual terrifying stuff. What I wouldn't give for some old fashioned morning sickness (and nothing scary) for a few weeks. I know, I know.. you think I'm mental for not being sick - but I have so much anxiety.

Still another two days to see baby again. Hoping desperately it's hanging in there amongst all this crap.
