@mfa_lady: Oh man! That's so awkward. I had to take a few sips of wine last night at my bachelor viewing party. I never refuse a glass of wine, so....

I just got back from the dentist. I have SIX CAVITIES. This is the part of pregnancy that I loath. I only had one when I went in the fall.

@winniebee: You and me both, dude. I have to go into hiding during the early weeks of pregnancy. If I'm not having wine, everyone I know is like "Oh, totes pregnant."

@avivoca: Oh, no! That reminds me--I should go to the dentist soon. But considering that brushing my teeth made me gag this morning, maybe I should wait a month or two.

@mfa_lady: I'm 12 weeks and it really wasn't bad for me today. They were very careful around the area I told them triggered my gag reflux. I go back in a couple of weeks to get all of them filled. Sigh. Thank the Lord for good dental insurance. But yes, get thee to the dentist! Pregnancy gingivitis (which I also have) can be bad!

@artsyfartsy: Dang, girl! Send me some of those big-baby/early due date vibes! Haha. But really, so glad you got to see the little bean today.

@avivoca: Good to know. Bleh...I hope my dental insurance is decent if I actually need to have something done. I usually just need cleanings!

@mfa_lady: The cavities are going to cost me over $150, most of which is the numbing stuff for my gums. Apparently I have excellent insurance.

@whiskers: My husband has to take over most of the poopy ones these days. I just can't handle the smell. I can't wait to potty train this kid.

I haven't been on the boards for almost a week (retreat, crazy travel prep, helping a friend, and traveling yesterday) and missed so much of what is going on! So let's see... TFrances is a childhood nickname from my grandpa. (My name is Tobe Frances) I'm 11 weeks 1 day, still nauseous everyday. I'm still on miscarriage watch due to my previous loss at 11 weeks. Feeling more confident that this baby will stick as I have been crazy nauseous. Planning on telling the family and in-laws while visiting in Indiana. Hubs and I talked names before I left for Indiana (he brought it up!!! such a big step for him). We have a girl's name set from the last pregnancy and kicked around some boys names. Haven't picked anything definite, but we have some options. Trying to take it easy but yesterday was super stressful. Our 7 hours travel time turned into a 12+ hour odyssey including a missed connection, mechanical issues, turbulence, and a cranky toddler. We made it but holy cow I was stressing. Thankfully the toddler and I both slept in this morning. Ready to pick up the twins tomorrow and get their birthday celebration started (their 13th birthday is on Saturday!). I've got the cookie cake ordered and we're going to a bowling alley/arcade/mini golf place. Can't wait!

Too hare to reply to multiple people on my phone, but you all have confirmed my worries about the accuracy of early gender determination. Guess I'll tough it out till 20 weeks
Also, thanks for reminding me I need to go to the dentist I have such a dentist phobia and it's been too long since I've been

My first ultrasound is tomorrow afternoon (will be 7 weeks and 4 days) and I'm already consumed with worry. At this point during my last pregnancy, we went in for the ultrasound and all they saw was an empty gestational sac (blighted ovum). For that pregnancy, the beta that I had done at 6 weeks was in the normal range, though they admitted it was a little on the lower side when I probed. My beta this time was a few thousand higher and the nurse said it was not at all considered low or on the lower side of average so I'm trying to think positively.... I don't go in until tomorrow afternoon so it is going to be a long 24 hours!

@Shantuck: I'm sure you must be terrified. The odds of that happening again are so low though, I'm really hoping all is well for you!!

@Shantuck: I am praying for you and the baby. That must be absolutely terrifying.

Lily Ann is my dog's name. DH got her for my 19th birthday, so she was my first baby
Afternoon 8 week bump is out in full force. I need to stop wearing form fitting clothes to work! Ack!

Ariel is my middle name, but it's also in part a nod to The Little Mermaid. It's miss because I joined while planning my wedding and it was my name on weddingbee. Hellobee was in beta when I joined and you needed to be a member to read the posts.

@Shantuck: I know that fear, love. It's so scary! I keep telling myself this is a new baby, new pregnancy - so I will tell you that too. *hugs*

Board has been busy the last 24 hours!! I'm just now catching up.
So I did something a bit "crazy" today and bought a crib. Yes, a crib! We still aren't even positive how many babies we're actually having but I went ahead and pulled the trigger. There is a high end baby store in Miami (NOT close to my house!!) that I've followed on Instagram for years since someone I know takes their photographs for ads etc. they posted a flash sale for a designer crib that was too perfect to pass up! I had already picked out a dresser years ago that has a mid century modern vibe to it so I wanted something that mimics it (which you don't find at every babies r us, and buy buy baby etc.) it was $1000 marked down to $300!!! If we end up with triplets I'll have to find 2 more that are not crazy expensive and coordinate, but I have a pretty strong gut feeling that that won't be the case.
So yesterday was 10 weeks and we now have a crib. Guess we'll just let those flood gates fly open soon!

@lilyann: Cute bump!!
@Alexandra603: Congrats and welcome!!
@waiting4you: Yay baby shopping! Well I hope you *will* need to go buy two more cribs, but if not, you've got one of the big important things done. And that's a great deal! The crib I have picked out from Babies R Us is like $400. And probably not as nice as yours. Nice find!
Trying to keep up but it's so damn hard on my phone. I need to clear my desk off and get on the laptop.
3 hours till my appt with doc to followup after my ER visit last weekend. If everything looks good, we're announcing this weekend. One week earlier than originally planned, but I want to go back to my old salon and I'd rather they know I'm pregnant before I go. Plus like 3 girls from there just announced (one last night) and I'm just getting impatient!

Being brave and posting my bump. I can't believe this.... not even 11 weeks yet. I've been bloated for weeks, but this popped out just a couple days ago. Lol. Might still be some bloat making me so big, but I love my bump anyway.
Oh, and ignore the wet hair and lack of makeup!

I am feeling so much better, thankfully! I took today off too, half day to relax a bit more (DD is at her sitters) and clean up for Spring Break!
I miss her so much, DH has been doing everything so I don't have to much interaction with her!
I want to just snug her all day!
I have an apt on Monday but it is just blood work, and tons of paper work! We get to her the heart beat hopefully so I am super excited about that!

@KrzyRiver: love the bump! Funny how it seems to just come out of nowhere one day right? I thought the same thing.

Has anyone gotten any bloodwork back that raised any flags? (For you, not the baby?)
My numbers for a few things fell outside the "norm". I sent them to my dad's wife (an internist and dermatologist) and her first question was have you been tested for thalassemia (a type of genetic blood disease that can turn into leukemia). Unfortunately my response was, no but this is what my grandmother died from 3 months ago.
Now I'm going to have to do more blood work to see if I am not a carrier, just a carrier of the gene but don't have, or if I have it to what degree.
Like I needed this right now...

@waiting4you: Ohh I am so sorry, that is scary! I hope you can get answers from your doctor soon! Praying all is ok
