@whiskers: Feeling pretty down. I have another ultrasound in about an hour at the radiologist, hoping for a clearer picture than what my OB could see (she saw 2 sacks). Hoping I can figure out a plan today so I can start moving on. Thanks for asking!

I broke down and scheduled an elective gender reveal ultrasound. My sister is going this weekend and I got jealous that I wouldn't know for 2 more months. Lol
I found out with T at 14 weeks when we had an unexpected ultrasound so I can't imagine waiting until 20 this time!

May 8th on Mothers Day! Can't wait!

Checking in after a few days away from HB. @lilyann: Praying for you. Answers are always good..I know we had to wait quite a while to get the answers we were looking for.

@artsyfartsy: We have first name for a boy picked out.
Hagan - It's a god of fire (hubby is a firefighter medic), it starts with H which hubby really wanted since his name starts with an H, it's got Irish roots, which we're both Irish, and our first home we bought was on Hagan Ranch road.
Definitely seems to fit the criteria
No clue what we'll name a girl, though we have a list going.

Getting nervous ... one week to go for the 12 week scan & the NIPT test - and probably another week after that for results, so I'm feeling pretty anxious. Big few weeks coming up!

@jaguar: I'm right there with you. Had the NIPT bloodwork done last week and my NT scan is Thursday afternoon. It's been really hard to concentrate at work. I did a prenatal yoga DVD last night and I think it helped me relax a bit and focus on the baby rather than the tests. I hope you find something that helps make these 2 weeks go quickly! The best we can do is stay positive

@BUNBUN: @jaguar: I'm waiting for NIPT test results, too! Busy, busy at work so it's taking up a lot of my worrying time, at least. I expect the results will come in early next week.

@BUNBUN: Good luck with your scan this week! I hope having good preliminary results there will give you some peace of mind for the NIPT results. A prenatal yoga video sounds amazing. Do you have one to recommend?

@jaguar: Good luck keeping those nerves in check before the big dates. Just remember that Olaf has been great so far at every scan, despite all of the spotting terror! Even without the spotting and extra anxiety that you have experienced, I've been nervous for each scan, with the nerves building before the actual doctor's visit. Then when we see the baby on the screen, I can't even remember that I was super stressed just moments before. What a yo-yo of emotion!

This past weekend I made a big step and got some actual maternity clothes. My mom was in town and she spoiled me. My bump is more like a food baby still and I can fit comfortably into some of my normal clothes, but I have got to admit that those over-the-belly pants feel amazing!

@Amorini: Thank you and good luck to you! My friend highly recommended this prenatal yoga dvd: Shiva Rea's Prenatal Yoga. It's not strenuous at all, but it's relaxing and it really does feel good. She and her co-teachers are all in different stages of pregnancy. http://www.amazon.com/Prenatal-Yoga-Shiva-Rea/dp/B0000BYNMH?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

How long is it generally taking for everyone to get their NIPT results back?

I am having a ROUGH day. My toddler was awake from 430-530...and I had trouble falling back asleep. So I have basically been awake since 430 am....and the nausea and shakes. I've tried not to complain much but today is not fun. Slammed at work.....

@lilyann: I'm so sorry for your loss. Something very similar happened to me in December. I had a blighted ovum that was discovered when I went in for my first ultrasound. I was terrified about the D&C but it was really not bad at all and it was good to have it be done with so I could start moving forward. Take good care of yourself and I'm here if you want to talk, hear more about the D&C experience, etc.

@Amorini: I love maternity clothes! I might have to wear real clothes to work, but they don't have to have a real waistband! They are so comfortable.

After getting the flu 3 weeks ago, my son caught some sort of stomach bug over the weekend. I miraculously avoided the flu but wasn't so lucky with this stomach bug. I haven't been able to keep down any food since yesterday at breakfast. I think somebody else mentioned having a stomach bug a few weeks ago. At what point do you call your OB? I don't have a fever and I know there are plenty of people with morning sickness as frequent as my stomach bug sickness.... Ugh, don't know how you ladies handle the morning sickness. This is awful.

@winniebee: I was told 8 days for mine, which would be Thursday. However, I'm going to call today to see if they are in early (fingers crossed). We're planning to announce on facebook tomorrow (far enough away from April Fools) and would feel more comfortable if we had those answers.

Ugh, I'm crampy today and it freaks me out. I think I remember this happening with DD (I really should have kept better track of things) but it's still scary.
