Hi YellowBeach! Thanks for starting the board

I was a member here on HelloBee with my last pregnancy and when my daughter was little. Now that I'm newly pregnant again it's wonderful to get back to being active with this lovely community. I'm still insta-friends with so many of my due date board mamas from then and it's so fun to stay connected and watch each other's little one's grow!

Location: Florida

EDD: 12/3/18

First child? #2, daughter is about 5.5 yrs old (Nov '12)

Any symptoms? Sore/tender breasts, frequent/urgent urination, more vivid dreams

Who have you told? Told DH the day I took my (first) test and some of our closest friends who we see frequently and who would know I was pregnant the second I declined alcohol when hanging out.

Current thoughts/feelings/fears? Mostly excited with some nerves mixed in. It's still kind of sinking in because so much of the time I don't 'feel' pregnant. We delayed trying for our second for a long time for many reasons (like wanting solo time with DD and my going back to school for my master's) so I'm nervous about the age gap between our two kids.
Mostly I just want to get our first appointment done so I can see that things are in the right place and are progressing as expected. I have been testing using my cheapie sticks every morning just to watch the line progression and it's kind of amazing but also kinda makes me feel a little nuts/overboard

Aw YAY I know this board is going to fill up nicely as the weeks go by. Hello back @yellowbeach and hi to you @mrsmollyalexandra! I agree - I don't yet want to talk too much to friends about it, and I don't want to talk DH's ear off either so happy to have good company here.

We also got incredibly lucky as this was our first month trying after having my IUD removed in February. We avoided last month because it would have meant identical birthdays for both kids and then in March tried in earnest and well - that was that! We also have close friends who have struggled to concieve for a long time and are not likely going to advertise just how quickly it happened. Makes me glad we waited to try until we were really ready though. I had an appt. last September to have the IUD removed and we cancelled last minute because we both were just not ready when it came time.

Excited for you both, especially considering all the factors that could have made it difficult

My first appt. is set for 4/12 - ultrasound and midwife visit. I have seen a midwife group for well care for years and also for my last pregnancy so I'm continuing with them unless something comes up that makes me ineligible later on. I'm not sure they'll do labs (like HCG) since I don't remember them doing it last time but that was a while ago so maybe things are different... or maybe they did and I don't remember!

I did have spotting at 6 weeks last time due to a small SCH but all was well. A little nervous that might happen again but there's nothing I can do about it so I'm trying to just go with the flow and stay calm and happy.

And Hi to my fellow Floridian! I'm up in Gainesville and DH and I both grew up in the Sarasota area - what part of the state are you in?

I tested so early because I just wanted to know right away, but then I freaked myself out over the possibility of a chemical pregnancy so I kept going. Plus I had bought a kit on amazon that had like 20 tests in it so I was like - well why not?

I just ordered more tests on Amazon! I want to follow along as well like this .

I want to wait to join but easier said than done...

First child? Oh geez... 1 CP, 1 2y9m DD, 1 MC. So this will hopefully be rainbow baby #2.

Any symptoms? No.

Who have you told? DH, the RE office (obvi LOL) and 1 girlfriend who I was pregnant with last time and just delivered this week.

Current thoughts/feelings/fears? I had/have IF and needed 3 IUIs to get pregnant with my daughter. Then I naturally got pregnant last summer, only to miscarry at 11 weeks. So I'm more nervous than before... Trying not to be but easier said than done. I went to the RE for IF testing a couple weeks ago and was surprised to have gotten pregnant now... I went this morning for betas/progesterone check, they'll call this afternoon and then I'll go back for repeat ones next week,

That sounds like an amazing trip! I plan on enjoying some delicious O'Douhls and hope the guys don't figure me out.

@yellowbeach: Basically because you're not supposed to be losing weight while pregnant. I thought about changing to maintenance mode since it would give me more points (so as to not be losing). I wish they had a pregnant plan... They do have a nursing one?? Or at least that they account for that.

I tested this morning too but think I'm done. It was dark dark and that was reassuring for me.
